16-port 10/100 Mbps Compact Switch
LevelOne’s FSW-1602TX Fast Ethernet Switch is a wire-speed
and cost-effective networking device that provides 16 ports with
10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections. This device combines
dynamic memory allocation with a store-and-forward switching
method to ensure that the buffer is effectively allocated for each
port. It also controls the data flow between transmit and receive
nodes to guarantee against all possible packet loss. All ports
support Auto-MDIX allowing uplinking to another switch
straightly without cable selection hassle.
The FSW-1602TX is ideal to share bandwidth 10Mbps or
100Mbps workgroups with multiple high-speed servers. With
the highest bandwidth at 200Mbps, each port can provide
workstations with congestion-free data-pipes for simultaneous
access to the server. Furthermore, this device is also
expandable by cascading two or more switches together and
provide more Ethernet connections.
This unit is small and desktop-sized specially designed to fit in
space-limited locations. Users can immediately use any of the
features of this product simply by attaching the cables and
turning on the power. For instant error detection, the switch is
equipped with a full range of LEDs to help you monitor and
troubleshoot problems on your network.
