1. Intro
Thankyouforchoosingthe LEWITTDGT260.The LEWITTDGT260is a multi-purpose
USB microphone with a condenser capsule that provides crystal clear sound in every
situation. This unique microphone comes with LED illumination that is customizable
to your own preferences. We designed a powerful mixing software, the LEWITT
CONTROL CENTER. This software makes it very comfortable to manage two parallel
mixes, one for your audience and one personal monitoring mix. It also lets you control
every parameter of the microphone from your computer. Designed and engineered in
Austria, the DGT 260 is made for all that are simply looking for the best. Only the best
brings out the best in you!

5. Control Elements
5.1. User Interface
1Status indicator // white = ok, red = clipping occurs, off = in Settings mode.
2Metering // Select IN for input or OUT for output metering.
3Monitoring // Mix the output signal of your device with the input signal of your microphone.
Return // Monitor the output of your PC, e.g. playback signal.
Direct // The signal of the input is sent directly to the output of the DGT 260. This way you can
monitor the signal without any latency.
4 Low-cut lter // Use to get rid of unwanted low frequencies e.g. structure-borne noise (recom-
mend for all vocal applications).
5Pre-attenuation // Use for loud input signals to prevent clipping.
6LED Graph // Displays values for settings like headphone gain, input gain, and others.
7Output gain // Set headphone volume.
8Input gain // Set microphone gain.
9Jog Dial // Rotate and push to change settings.
10 Headphone jack // Your DGT 260 is equipped with a built-in headphone amplier, that allows
you to even drive high-impedance studio headphones. Connect your headphones to your DGT 260
using the 3.5mm headphone jack on the left side of your device.
11 Micro-USB port // Only use the supplied USB cable and make sure that your computer’s USB
port is suitable to power USB high-power devices with a current consumption of at least 500mA.

5.2. Operating Modes and Setup
Standard mode // Status Indicator (1) is illuminated in white. This is the default
state of the device - you can quickly access the headphone volume by turning the
jog dial (9) and check metering on the LED graph (6).
Settings mode // Enter Settings mode by pushing the jog dial (9) - the status
indicator’s (1) illumination will turn off.
In Settings mode you can change all the settings on your DGT 260 including: I/O
metering, monitoring options (3), low-cut lter (4), attenuation (5) and gain (7/8).
Rotate the jog dial (9) to change the selected value.
Push the jog dial (9) to jump to the next setting.
After 10 seconds your device automatically switches back to Standard mode.

6. Lewitt Control Center - Software Interface
(Windows only)
6.1. Overview
// The “LEWITT Control Center” software allows you to set every parameter of your
DGT 260 without touching the microphone.
// Adapt the LED color scheme to your personal taste.
// Use the “LEWITT Control Center” to manage different sound sources and to create two
independent mixes.
// Use Virtual I/Os to exchange audio signals with other applications.
6.2. Windows Setup
// Download and install the DGT 260 Control Center and follow the installation instructions
displayed. Make sure to download the appropriate version for your Windows version!
There is one version for Windows 7 or 8 and one version for Windows 10.
// After the installation is complete, connect your DGT 260 via micro-USB cable to your
computer, and wait until all drivers are installed and the device is ready to use.
// Open your Windows Control panel, choose “Hardware and Sound” -> “Sound” and make
your DGT 260 the default playback and recording device in Windows.
// Access the Control Center from your system tray on your Windows Taskbar (bottom
right).
// If you can not  nd the Lewitt logo in the system tray, open it from the Windows Start
menu or go to “C:\Program Files\Lewitt GmbH” .
// Now your DGT 260 is ready to use.
// Should you experience any issues during or after installation, see chapter 10.

6.3. User Interface
1Microphone settings // Remote control your microphone.

7Channel name // Rename channel names by clicking into the name  eld.
8FADER // Change volume for this channel.
9SOLO // Listen to this channel only - INPUT 3/4 VIRTUAL mix will not be affected.
10 MUTE // Mute channel.
11 DUCKER // Use the DUCKER DSP to lowervolume ofthis channel (for example
music playback) automatically when talking into the microphone.
12 MONO // Signal will be mono-summed.
13 MONITOR MIX // Click in this area (13) to access MONITOR mixer. This is
your personal headphone mix!
14 INPUT3/4 (VIRTUAL) - BROADCAST MIX // Click in this area (14) to access
the INPUT 3/4 (VIRTUAL) mixer, it is used to send the mix to other applications.
This mix is recorded or streamed to your audience!
15 COPY // Copy mix settings from MONITOR mix to INPUT 3/4 (15a) or copy
INPUT 3/4 to MONITOR mix (15b).

6.4. Analog and Virtual I/O
The DGT 260 incorporates an Analog and Virtual I/O system allowing all audio
programs to exchange audio signals.
The Analog I/O is identical with the hardware input and hardware output of your
DGT 260. Think of it as the bridge between hardware and software - exactly like
an audio interface. The Virtual I/Os are designed to route different sources to the
Control Center software and/or other audio programs.
// Input
INPUT 1/2 (analog) // This is the microphone input.
INPUT3/4 (virtual) // Use this inputto selectyour mix in otherapplications like any
DAW (Samplitude, Pro Tools, Cubase, ...), internet stream/broadcast applications
and VoiP services like Skype and QQ.
// Output
MONITOR // This is the DGT 260 headphone output.
OUTPUT1/2, OUTPUT3/4, OUTPUT5/6 // Use these outputs to route different
sources (processed vocals from DAW/VST rack, audio player, web browser,
communication from Skype or QQ,..) to the Control Center. Mix those channels
and send them to MONITOR and/or INPUT 3/4 (virtual).

6.6. Virtual Mixing Console
The most important part of the “Control Center” software is the virtual mixing
console. It gives control over all channels (analog and virtual I/O) in one place. Set
volume, mute or solo your channels independently.
// Channel Strip Overview
Name // Click into this box to rename your channel name.
Fader // Click, hold, and drag the mouse to adjust channel
volume.
Meter/ Scale // Indicates the channel’s input/output level.
Solo // Click to solely hear this channel on your MONITOR
mix. Please note “Solo” is just a monitoring function. The
signal is still sent to INPUT 3/4.
Mute // Click to mute channel.
Ducker // Use to automaticallylower the channel’s volume
based on the microphone input signal.

Mono // Monitor your personal mix in mono.
