power on status, and the other two ones are in power off status.
Important Note: Please make the pairing only by pressing the Button on the main unit,
but not pressing the Buttons on the wireless remote control.

8
Important Note: When you are operating the intercom functions by pressing the Rider
A, B, C button on the wireless remote control, please don’t press the same button
repeatedly, otherwise it will confuse the main unit. As the button function of the
wireless remote control is the same as the main unit, you can use it directly without
pairing. Please be patient to wait for the main unit’s reaction for 1-5 seconds,
remember that one operation, one pressing.
Note:
1.When you try to start an intercom conversation with an Intercom rider who is
already having an intercom conversation or a mobile phone call with another person,
you can’t make it and will hear low tone double beep as a busy signal. In this case,
you have to try again later.
2. If your Intercom rider goes out of range while having an intercom conversation,
you may hear static noise and eventually the intercom will be disconnected. In this
case, the LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER automatically tries to reconnect the intercom every
8 seconds and you will hear high tone double beeps until the intercom is reestablished.
If you don’t want to make a re-connection, short press the Rider A or Rider B or Rider
C Button to stop the attempt.
5.4 Stereo Music
You can listen to stereo music in either way: by Bluetooth wireless stereo or with the
enclosed stereo audio cable.
• By Bluetooth Wireless Stereo
The Bluetooth audio device must be paired with the LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER by
following the Bluetooth Audio Device Pairing instructions described in the previous
chapter. The LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER supports the Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile (A2DP), so if your Bluetooth audio device also supports the A2DP, you can
use the LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER to remotely control music playback. You may not
only adjust the volume but also use the functions such as play & pause.
- Press Volume + or Volume – Button on the main unit or on the wireless remote
control to adjust the volume.
- Press Phone/Play Button on the main unit or on the wireless remote control to
play/pause the music.
• By Stereo Audio Cable
Plug your stereo MP3 player directly to the LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER by using the
enclosed 3.5mm audio cable. You may adjust the volume and control the music
playback on the MP3 player.
5.5 Function Priority
The LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER operates in the following order of priority:
1. Mobile phone (highest)
2. Intercom
3. Bluetooth stereo music, FM radio (lowest)
A lower-priority function is always interrupted by a higher-priority function. For
example, stereo music is interrupted by an Intercom call, and Intercom conversation is
interrupted by an incoming mobile phone call.

9
5.6 Reset
When the LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER is not working properly or is in faulty status with
any reason, you may reset by pressing the Reset Button on the headset main unit. The
LX-A4 SAFE CHATTER will be switched off and you have to turn on and try to use
again.

Warranty.
6.1. Do not use or store the device in dusty or dirty environments. Moving parts and electronic components can be
