To get the most out of your purchase, please thoroughly read these
instructions.
Operating Instructions
With minimal power consumption, your blanket offers all the
benets of Far Infrared heat and can be used anywhere there is a
wall or lighter socket.
For use with a wall socket connect the supplied mains adapter
to the power lead running from the blanket, as shown below. Plug
the mains adapter into a wall socket.
For use with a lighter socket connect the supplied car adapter
to the power lead running from the blanket, as shown above. Plug
the car adapter into a lighter socket. Ensure that the position of the
power lead does not impede the operation of your vehicle.

Always unplug the mains or car adapter before connecting
or disconnecting from the power lead.
The heating element in your blanket is centrally located, allowing it
to be used as a lap blanket or worn as a heated shawl.
For use as a lap blanket, place the blanket horizontally over your
knees, such that an equal amount of material falls either side of
your lap. Using the temperature control integrated within the power
lead, select the heat setting that is most comfortable for you, as
illustrated below.
For use as a heated shawl,
place the blanket centrally over the
shoulders with the power lead at
the bottom of the blanket. Draw the
shawl around the shoulders and afx
the top corners using the button and
loop provided, as illustrated.
Using the temperature control integrated within the power lead,
select the heat setting that is most comfortable for you, as
illustrated previously.

Everyone has their own tolerance to heat, but our recommended
period of use is one hour – this will also prolong the life of your
blanket. For your safety and comfort, the unit will automatically
switch off after a period of one hour. This period can be reset by
reselecting the heat setting. To switch the unit OFF with the on/off

Cleaning, Storage and Safety
To clean your blanket, spot clean using mild soap and water or
upholstery cleaner. Always unplug your blanket before cleaning and
never immerse in water or machine wash.
Your blanket may be folded or rolled for storage and should be
kept in a cool, dry location. Take care not to damage the power
lead and connector during storage.
To minimise the risk of injury to the user or damage to your blanket,
follow these safety instructions.
1. Use the blanket with adult supervision and never leave
unattended when in use. Those with restricted mobility such
as young children or the disabled may be injured if they cannot
remove the blanket.
2. Never remove or pierce the blanket cover. The use of pins or
metallic fasteners represents a serious risk of electric shock.
3. Do not operate the blanket when folded or if the power lead or
cover becomes damaged.
4. Do not use in areas where aerosol products are being used or
oxygen is being administered.
5. If the unit becomes wet or immersed in water, do not attempt to
retrieve or operate. We do not recommend the product is used
outside.

6. Do not use this product in the treatment of undiagnosed
conditions, for example undiagnosed abdominal pain.
Avoid using the blanket on swollen or inamed areas,
where the skin is lacerated or where the user suffers from
Varicose Veins.
7. Those with sensitive skin or diabetes should seek
medical advice before using this product.
8. This product is not recommended for use during
pregnancy.
9. Those with a pacemaker should consult their GP prior to
use.
Protect our environment: do not dispose of
electrical equipment in your domestic waste.
Please return any electrical equipment that you
will no longer use to the collection points pro-
vided for their disposal. These simple steps can
help to avoid the potential effects that incorrect
waste disposal can cause on the environment
and human health. This will contribute to recy-
cling and other forms of re-use of electrical and
electronic equipment. Information concerning
where the equipment can be disposed of can
be obtained from your local authorities.
