• Lay the table top (BWM) upside down on the ground. Use a drill or electric screwdriver to remove the five (5) screws
connecting one of the j-channels to the table top, and remove the channel from the table top. Save screws for later in the
assembly.

• If the locking strap is not already attached to the leg brace assembly (BWP), slide a locking strap over the tube of the leg
brace as shown. Ensure the locking strap is oriented with the metal ring facing downward as shown and the velcro facing upward as indicated.

1.3 • Insert a leg assembly (BWO) and a leg brace assembly (BWP) into the two large holes along the J-channel that is still connected
to the table top as indicated.

• Set the J-channel back in place. While another adult holds the legs, use a power drill or electric screwdriver to
reinsert the five (5) screws you removed in step 1.1 Into the holes of the J-channel to secure it in place. DO NOT
overtighten.

• Attach two (2) sliding end caps (BWI) to the tube on the other table leg, and lift the bench assembly upward until the
sliding end caps rest inside the underside of the bench. Position the bench so all four sliding end caps are under
the glide rails.

• Lift the legs upright and, while another adult holds the table legs in place, rotate the diagonal supports of a table leg brace
until the locking pin snaps into the notches located at the ends of the diagonal supports. Connect the other ends of the
supports to the table leg using two (2) bolts(FMN) and two (2) nuts(AON). Thethreadsofthenuts(AON)arelinedwith nylon,sothenutswon’tunscrewwithout
theaidofawrench.Theyshouldbesecurelytightened,butnotsomuchthelegscan’tbefolded/unfolded.

channels and into the bench as shown to keep the sliding end caps under the glide rails. Do not overtighten. These
screws help keep the legs in the glide rails.

• To store the picnic table, tip the table on one side as shown. Slide the locking ring down the leg brace, and push down
on the locking lever to fold the leg.

• Finally attach the locking strap to itself with the Velcro. Repeat these steps for the other leg. Store the table.
