these steps
to help increase the longevity and
usefulness of your OMNIShield®
face shield.
• Lightly blow o any loose dirt or debrisfrom
the lens
• Use a soft microber cloth or eyewear-
approved tissue to clean the lens
• Rinse your lenses with cool water and wipe
clean with lens-safe tissue
• Only use lens cleaning products to clean lenses
by spraying eyewear-specic cleaning solution
directly onto the lens and wipe clean with
lenssafe tissue
• Store face shield in a secure spot like a locker,
or shelving, but never on a table or around
your work area.

WARNING
Maintenance And Storage
• Read and follow all steps set forth in the
OMNIShield® Operator’s Manual.
• Inspect face shield prior to each use. If there is
any sign of damage, such as pit marks, cracks,
scratches, or distortion, impact resistance is
severely reduced, OMNIShield® lens should be
replaced immediately.
• Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning
solutions to clean the OMNIShield®.
• Wash with mild detergent and warm water.
Rinse clean and remove excess water by patting
with soft tissue or cloth. DO NOT use ammonia,
alkaline cleaners, solvents, or abrasive cleaning
compounds, which may reduce visibility, impact
resistance and eectiveness of coatings.
• Cleaning is recommended after each use.
Important Notice:
• Follow your facility’s protocols for proper
disposal of cleaning equipment and solutions
OMNIShield® Lens Cleaning
Improper cleaning, poor handling and storage of
the OMNIShield® can result in reduced visibility,
impact resistance and eectiveness of coatings.
1. To disassemble the lens, press the enclosed
button located in the center of the inside
headpiece. Rotate the lens so the locking pins
on each side of the headpiece align with the lens
notch in each corner. Then push each side of the
lens to detach from the headpiece.
2. Use a warm, mild detergent cleaning solution.
3. Wipe with a soft cloth until clean.
a. DO NOT use detergents that contain lanolin or
other oils, organic or chlorinated solvents or
abrasive cleaning agents. Rinsing OMNIShield®
Lens.
1. Rinse the OMNIShield® lens by wiping with a
clean soft cloth, lightly dampened with clean
warm water, and thoroughly dry before use or
storage.

• Ensure all components are dry prior to reuse or

OMNIShield® Headpiece Cleaning
Improper cleaning, poor handling and storage
of the OMNIShield® all result in reduced impact
resistance.
1. Disassemble the headpiece from the lens.
2. Use a warm, mild detergent cleaning solution.
3. Wipe with a soft cloth until clean.
a. DO NOT use detergents that contain lanolin or
other oils, organic or chlorinated solvents or
abrasive cleaning agents. Rinsing OMNIShield®
Headpiece.
1. Rinse the OMNIShield® lens by wiping with a
clean soft cloth, lightly dampened with clean
warm water, and thoroughly dry before use or
storage.
Disinfecting Safety Glasses & Goggles Lens.
1. Disinfect the Safety Glasses & Goggles lens by
wiping with a suitable disinfecting material
recommended by the EPA after drying and
before use: https://www.epa.gov/pesticide-
registration/selected-eparegistered-
disinfectants.
Important Notice:
• Ensure all components are dry prior to reuse or
storage.
• The cleaned OMNIShield® headpiece should
be carefully inspected per the OMNIShield®
Operator’s Manual.
