Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY VGA Skew Compensator. Using Cat.5 VGA extensions
can cause delay skew. This appears as colour shadows around items on the output video
screen. With the LINDY VGA Skew Compensator you can adjust these colour shifts.

Installation
Connect the VGA plug (1) of the adapter cable to the VGA input of the Skew Compensator.
Then connect the other VGA plug (2) of the adapter cable to the output of the VGA extender´s
receiver unit.
Plug the power cable´s DC plug (3) into the 5V DC socket of the receiver unit and the receiver´s
power supply into the power cable socket (4) of the adapter cable.
Finally, connect the output VGA socket of the Ske
w Compensator with the Monitor.
When you switch on the monitor, you will see the colour shift. By using a screw driver you can
now adjust the three RGB colours red, green and blue. WhenWhen

Einführung
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des LINDY VGA Skew Compensators. Es handelt sich hierbei um
einen Laufzeitkompensator für Cat. 5 VGA Extenderstrecken. Beim Einsatz von Cat.5-
Extendern kann es zu Verzögerungen des Bildsignals kommen, die dann auf dem Monitor als
Farbverschiebungen zu sehen sind. Mit dem LINDY VGA Skew Compensator können Sie diese
Farbverschiebungen manuell korrigieren.

Verbinden Sie den VGA-Stecker (1) des Adapterkabels mit dem VGA-Eingang des Skew
Compensators.
Anschließend verbinden Sie den zweiten VGA-Stecker (2) des Adapterkabels mit dem Ausgang
des VGA-Extenders (Receiver).
Stecken Sie das Stromkabel mit dem DC Rundstecker (3) in die 5V DC Buchse des Receivers.
Das Netzteil des Receviers wiederum schließen Sie am Stromkabel (4) des Adapterkabels an.
Zuletzt verbinden Sie den VGA-Ausgang des Skew Compensator mit dem
Monitor.
Wenn Sie dann den Monitor einschalten, sehen Sie vermutlich Fabrverschiebungen. Diese
können Sie nun korrigieren, indem Sie mit einem Schraubenzieher die einzelnen RGB-Farben
auf der gehäuseoberseite des Skew Compensators manuell justieren. WhenWhen

Introduction
Merci pour votre achat de ce synchronisateur VGA LINDY. Il s’agit ici d’un synchronisateur VGA
pour Extender VGA Cat.5. Lors de l’utilisation d’Extender VGA Cat.5, il peut y avoir une perte de
synchronisation des signaux d’images qui se traduisent par une dégradation de la qualité des
couleurs. Avec l’utilisation de ce synchronisateur VGA LINDY, vous pourrez corriger ces défauts
manuellement.

Connectez la prise VGA (1) du câble adaptateur avec l’entrée VGA de l’appareil.
Ensuite branchez la seconde prise VGA (2) du câble adaptateur avec la sortie VGA du
récepteur de l’Extender (Receiver).
Branchez le câble d’alimentation avec la prise mâle DC (3) dans la prise femelle 5V DC du
récepteur. L’alimentation du récepteur sera branchée à son tour sur le câble d’alimentation (4)
du câble adaptateur.
Au final connectez la sortie VGA de l’appareil avec votre écran.
Lorsque vous mettrez votre moniteur en route, vous verrez probablement une dégradation des
couleurs sur l’écran. Vous pourrez dorénavant corriger ce problème, il suffira de régler la
synchronisation des couleurs RGB à l’aide d’un tournevis, en agissant sur les potentiomètres
situés sur le dessus du boitier de l’appareil.

nella visualizzazione dei segnali VGA come ombre colorate attorno alle icone se si utilizza un
Extender su cavo di rete. Questo prodotto consente di correggere questo difetto nella
visualizzazione delle immagini.

Connettere il cavo VGA (1) del cavo adattatore all’ingresso VGA dello Skew Compensator.
Connettete l’altro connettore VGA (2) del cavo adattatore all’uscita VGA del ricevitore
dell’extender.
Collegate il connettore d’alimentazione (3) alla porta 5V DC del ricevitore e l’alimentatore del
ricevitore al connettore di alimentazione femmina (4) del cavo adattatore.
In fine collegate l’uscita VGA allo Skew Compensator ed al
Monitor.
Quando accendete il monitor e vedete l’immagine disturbata potete regolare i colori utilizzando i
controlli dei colori RGB (rosso, verde e blu). WhenWhen
