Overview
The LINDY USB PS/2 Adapter allows you to connect any
PS/2 mouse, keyboard or CCD Barcode Scanner to your
PC or Mac via the USB port.

Driver Installation
Step A)
Power on your computer and plug the USB PS/2 Adapter
into the USB port. Windows will detect the new device and
run the Add New Hardware Wizard to assist you in setting
up the new device. Click Next to continue. Click Search for
the best driver for your device, then specifiy a location.
Windows will detect the driver and show the USB
Compsite Device. Click Next to continue installation.
When Windows finished installing the software required for
the new USB Compsite Device, click Finish.
Step B)
Connect the mouse/keyboard/barcode scanner to the USB
PS/2 Adapter. Windows will automatically run the Add New
Hardware Wizard, search for new drivers and install them.
Mac Installation
Connect the USB PS/2 Adapter into an available USB port.
Boot the machine and once the Mac has booted connect
the PS/2 device to the USB PS/2 Adapter. The device will
instantaneously become active.

Treiberinstallation
1) Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein und schließen Sie den
USB PS/2-Adapter am USB Port an. Windows wird das
neue Device erkennen und automatisch den
Hardwareassistenten starten. Klicken Sie auf „Weiter“.
Wählen Sie „Nach dem besten Treiber für das Gerät
suchen“ und suchen Sie im entsprechenden Verzeichnis.
Windows wird den Treiber finden und das neue Device
anzeigen. Klicken Sie auf “Weiter” um mit der Installation
fortzufahren. Wenn Windows die erforderliche Software
installiert hat, klicken Sie zum Beenden auf „Fertig stellen“.
2) Schließen Sie nun die Maus/Tastatur bzw. den Barcode
Scanner an den Adapter an. Windows wird automatisch
den Hardwareassistenten starten und den Treiber
installieren.
Mac-Installation
Schließen Sie den USB PS/2-Adapter an einen USB-Port
an. Nach dem Booten des Macs verbinden Sie das PS/2-
Gerät mit dem Adapter, das PS/2-Gerät ist dann sofort
aktiv.

Installation du pilote
Etape A)
Allumez votre ordinateur et connectez l’adaptateur USB
PS/2 au port USB de l’ordinateur. Windows détectera
automatique-ment et lancera l’assistant de mise àjour de
pilote pour vous aider àinstaller le produit. Cliquez sur
Suivant pour continuer. Cliquez sur Rechercher le
meilleur pilote pour ce périphé-rique, puis spécifiez une
location. Windows détectera le pilote en tant que USB
Composite Device. Cliquez Suivant pour continuer
l’installation. Lorsque Windows a terminél’installation des
pilotes USB Composite Device, cliquez sur Terminer.
Etape B)
Connectez la souris/clavier/lecteur code-barres à
l’adaptateur USB PS/2. Windows va lancer
automatiquement l’assistant de mise àjour de pilotes,
chercher de nouveaux pilotes et installer ces derniers.
Installation Mac
Connectez l’adaptateur USB PS/2 dans un port USB
disponible. Démarrez le Mac et lorsqu’il a terminéle
démarrage, connectez un périphérique PS/2 àl’adaptateur.
Le périphérique devient instantanément actif.

Installazione Driver
1)
Avviare il Vostro computer ed inserite l’adattatore USB
PS/2 nella porta USB. Windows rileveràla nuova periferica
ed apparirà“Installazione guidata nuovo Hardware”per
assistervi nell’installazione della nuova periferica. Cliccare
Avanti per continuare. Cliccate Ricerca del miglior driver
per la Tua periferica, poi indicate un percorso. Windows
rileverài driver e visualizzeràUSB Compsite Device.
Cliccate Avanti per proseguire con l’installazione. Al
termine dell’installazione del software, Windows richiederà
una nuova USB Compsite Device, cliccate Fine.
2)
Collegare il mouse/tastiera/barcode scanner all’adattatore
USB PS/2. Windows avvieràautomaticamente “Aggiungi
Nuovo Hardware”,cercate i nuovi driver ed installateli.
Installazione Mac
Collegare l’adattatore USB PS/2 ad una porta USB
disponibile. Avviare il computer dopodichécollegare la
periferica PS/2 all’adattatore USB PS/2. La periferica sarà
immediatamente disponibile.
