Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 5m USB 2.0 Active Extension
Slim. This product has been designed to provide trouble free,
reliable operation. It benefits from both a Lindy 2 year warranty
and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use,
please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
The Lindy USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable Slim uses built-in
active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 2.0
device by an additional 5m whilst continuing to support data
transfer rates of up to 480Mbps. With its USB A male and USB
A female connector it allows Type A devices to be connected at
longer distances and ensures flexible positioning.

Installation
Plug the USB Type A plug of the USB 2.0 Active Extension
Cable into a free USB port on the computer. Your computer will
recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers
automatically. Then connect a USB device to the USB Type A
female connector of the 5m USB 2.0 Active Extension.
Note: Up to 5 extension cables can be chained together to
achieve a distance of 25m.

Die Lindy USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerung verwendet aktive
Elektronik, um die Kabellänge eines USB 2.0 Devices um 5m
zu verlängern. Dabei werden weiterhin Datentransferraten bis
480Mbit/s unterstützt. Die USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerung mit
USB-Stecker Typ A und USB-Buchse Typ A erlaubt den
Anschluss und die flexible Positionierung von USB-Geräten
Typ A in größerer Entfernung von PCs, Laptops und Tablets.

Installation
Stecken Sie den USB-Stecker Typ A der USB 2.0
Aktivverlängerung in einen freien USB Typ A Port des
Computers. Der Computer wird die erforderlichen Treiber
automatisch installieren. Dann schließen Sie das USB-Gerät
an der USB-Buchse Typ A der USB 2.0 Aktivverlängerung an.
Beachten Sie bitte, dass bis zu 5 Aktiv-Verlängerungen bis zu
einer Distanz von 25m hintereinandergeschaltet werden
können.

USB.

Installation
Branchez la prise USB Type A de la rallonge active USB 2.0 à
un port USB libre de votre ordinateur. Celui-ci va reconnaitre
le nouveau matériel et installer les pilotes si nécessaire.
Connectez ensuite un périphérique USB au connecteur USB
Type A femelle de la rallonge active USB 2.0 5m.
Note : jusqu’à 5 rallonges actives peuvent être chaînées pour
atteindre une longueur de 25m.

Installazione

connettore USB di tipo A femmina della prolunga attiva USB

Nota: è possibile concatenare fino a 5 cavi di prolunga per
raggiungere una distanza massima di 25m.
