Introduction
This USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable allows a USB device to be connected 15m away from your PC or
Mac. Two of these cables can be daisy chained to provide a 30m extension.

Installation & Operation
Connect the 15m USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable to a free USB port on your computer. Your computer
will recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers automatically. Now connect your USB
device to the USB A socket of the 15m USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable. For USB devices with high
power demands, such as a USB Hub, it may be necessary to connect a 5V 2A power supply with a
3.5mm/1.35mm (Outer/Inner) DC Barrel such as LINDY Part No. 73823, which is available separately as
an accessory. In total, two of the 15m USB 3.0 Active Extension Cables can be daisy chained to provide
a 30m extension.

Einführung
Diese USB 3.0 Aktiv-Verlängerung ermöglicht den Anschluss eines USB Devices in einer Distanz von
15m zum Rechner. Maximal zwei dieser Kabel dürfen bis zu einer Distanz von 30m hintereinander

Installation & Betrieb
Schließen Sie das USB 3.0 Aktiv-Verlängerungskabel an einem freien USB Port Ihres Computers an.
Die neue Hardware wird erkannt und erforderliche Treiber werden automatisch installiert. Nun kann ein
USB Gerät mit der USB A Buchse des USB 3.0 Aktiv-Verlängerungskabels verbunden werden. Für
Geräte mit hohem Strombedarf, z.B. Festplatten oder USB Hubs, ist eventuell ein Netzteil (nicht
enthalten) erforderlich. Maximal zwei USB 3.0 Aktiv-Verlängerungskabel bis zu einer Distanz von 30m
können hintereinander geschaltet werden.

Cette rallonge active USB 3.0 permet de connecter un périphérique USB à une distance de 15 mètres

Installation & Utilisation
Connectez la rallonge active USB 3.0 à un port USB libre de votre ordinateur. Le nouveau matériel est
reconnu et les pilotes requis sont automatiquement installés. Un périphérique USB peut à présent être
raccordé au port USB 3.0 femelle de type A de la rallonge active USB 3.0. Pour certains périphériques
consommant plus d’énergie, comme des disques durs par exemple, une alimentation optionnelle pourra
être nécessaire (non fournie). Ceci peut également être nécessaire si vous raccordez un hub sur la
rallonge active USB 3.0. Un maximum de deux rallonges actives USB 3.0 peuvent être raccordées entre
elles (cascadées) pour atteindre jusqu’à 30 mètres.

Installazione & utilizzo
Collegate la prolunga attiva USB 3.0 da 15m ad una porta USB libera del vostro computer. Questo
riconoscerà la presenza del dispositivo e installerà i driver necessari automaticamente. Terminata
l’installazione sarà possibile connettere alla porta USB tipo A della prolunga la vostra periferica USB ed
utilizzarla normalmente. Nel caso la periferica necessiti di alimentazione aggiuntiva può essere
necessario collegare un alimentatore aggiuntivo (non incluso). La stessa cosa vale nel caso vogliate
collegare un Hub. E’ possibile collegare in cascata un massino di 2 prolunghe per raggiungere i 30m di
distanza.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.

Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von
Elektro- und Elektronikprodukten geschaffen. Diese wurden im Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz – ElektroG in
deutsches Recht umgesetzt. Dieses Gesetz verbietet das Entsorgen von entsprechenden, auch alten, Elektro- und
