Introduction
This USB 3.0 Desk Hub and Card Reader provides three USB 3.0 SuperSpeed ports, a card reader and
audio sockets for earphone and microphone. It simply fits into a desk´s pre-cut 6cm grommet for quick
and easy access.

Installation & Operation
Insert the USB 3.0 Desk Hub and Card Reader into the 6cm grommet of your desk. Lead the cables
downwards out of the desk. Connect the USB cable to a free USB port and the 3.5mm Audio connection
cables to the corresponding sockets for earphone and microphone on your computer. Your computer will
recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers automatically. To allow the passage of
cables with bulky connectors, the inner element of the USB 3.0 Desk Hub and Card Reader can be
taken out of the outer ring. So you can first insert the outer ring into the 6cm grommet of your desk, then
you lead the cables through the opening and finally insert the inner element again. For USB devices with
high power demands, such as a hard drive, it may be necessary to connect a 5V power supply with a
3.5mm/1.35mm (Outer/Inner) DC Barrel (not included).

Einführung
Dieser USB 3.0 Desk Hub und Kartenleser bietet Ihnen drei USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Ports und darüber
hinaus einen Kartenleser sowie je einen Kopfhörer- und Mikrofonanschluss. Er kann in die 6cm-
Kabelöffnung auf Schreibtischen eingebaut werden und erlaubt daher bequemen Zugriff auf alle Ports.

Installation & Betrieb
Stecken Sie den USB 3.0 Desk Hub und Kartenleser in die 6cm-Kabelöffnung Ihres Schreibtisches. Die
Kabel müssen nach unten herausgeführt werden. Schließen Sie das USB Kabel des USB 3.0 Desk
Hubs und Kartenlesers an einem freien USB Port und die beiden 3,5mm Klinkenstecker an Mikrofon-
und Kopfhörerbuchse am Computer an. Die neue Hardware wird automatisch erkannt und die
erforderlichen Treiber installiert. Zum Durchführen von Kabeln mit großen Steckern kann der zentrale
Hubeinsatz aus dem großen Ring gelöst werden. Nach dem Einbau des Rings in die Kabelöffnung des
Schreibtischs ist es somit möglich, zunächst Kabel durch die Öffnung zu führen und dann erst den
Hubeinsatz einzusetzen. Für Geräte mit hohem Strombedarf, z.B. Festplatten, ist eventuell ein Netzteil
(DC 5V mit 3,5mm/1,35mm Durchmesser) erforderlich.

Introduction
Ce hub et lecteur de cartes USB 3.0 de bureau fournit 3 ports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed, mais également un
lecteur de cartes mémoire, un connecteur jack pour haut-parleurs et un connecteur jack femelle pour un
microphone. Il se monte dans un passage de câbles de votre bureau, au diamètre de 6 cm, vous
fournissant ainsi un accès facilité à tous ses ports.

Installation & utilisation
Montez le Desk Hub USB 3.0 et lecteur de cartes dans le passage de câbles de 6cm de votre bureau,
ses câbles devront être passés en premier pour être orientées vers le bas. Raccordez le câble USB du
Desk Hub USB 3.0 et lecteur de cartes à un port USB disponible et les deux câbles avec jack 3,5mm
aux ports jack femelle pour microphone et le casque/haut-parleurs de votre ordinateur. Le nouveau
matériel est automatiquement reconnu et les pilotes requis installés. Le passage d’autres câbles reste
toujours possible après le montage, le hub peut être retiré de l’anneau principal dans ce cas (pour le
passage de gros connecteurs par exemple). Pour les appareils et périphériques nécessitant plus de
courant, comme les disques durs par exemple, une alimentation optionnelle peut être requise, (DC 5V
avec prise ronde DC aux diamètres 3,5mm/1,35mm – non fourni).

Installazione & Utilizzo
Inserite l’hub USB 3.0 nel foro della scrivania con diametro di 6cm lasciando il cavo all’interno. Collegate
il cavo USB ad una porta USB libera e i due cavi Audio Jack da 3.5mm alle porte corrispondenti per
cuffie e microfono sul computer. Il computer riconoscerà il nuovo hardware ed installerà
automaticamente i driver richiesti. Per consentire il passaggio di cavi con connettori ingombranti, potete
rimuovere l’elemento nella parte esterna del cerchio per il fissaggio dell’hub alla scrivania. In questo
modo potete inserire prima il cerchio nel foro della scrivania, far passare i cavi all’interno e poi
riposizionare l’hub/card reader. Se si collegano dispositivi USB che richiedono un elevato consumo di
corrente come dischi esterni, può essere necessario collegare un alimentatore da 5V 4A con un
connettore da 3.5mm/1.35mm (diametro esterno/interno), non incluso.

and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More

Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von
Elektro- und Elektronikprodukten geschaffen. Diese wurden im Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz – ElektroG in
deutsches Recht umgesetzt. Dieses Gesetz verbietet das Entsorgen von entsprechenden, auch alten, Elektro- und
