Der LINDY USB 1.1 Cat.5 Extender wird verwendet um
Distanzen zwischen Computer und USB Geräten auf bis zu
50m zu erweitern. Er besteht aus einer lokalen Sende-
Einheit (mit USB-Kabel mit Typ A Stecker, Computerseite)
und einer Remote-Einheit (Device-Seite mit eingebauter
USB Typ A Buchse). Zur Verbindung werden Standard-
Netzwerkkabel bis zu 50m Länge (Kategorie 5 oder höher)
verwendet. USB 1.1 Full Speed Datentransfer mit 12Mbps
wird oberhalb von 50m höchstwahrscheinlich nicht korrekt
funktionieren.
Achtung: Die maximale Anzahl von Hubs in USB-Bussen
vom Computer bis zum letzten Device darf 5 nicht
überschreiten! Einschließlich anderer Hubs oder
Aktivverlängerungen und der Äquivalenz-Hub-Anzahl dieses
Extenders nach Distanz (siehe oben)! Bei Einsatz eines 50m
Verbindungskabels darf daher kein weiterer Hub zwischen
Computer und USB Device verwendet werden! Bei Einsatz
eines 40m Verbindungskabels wird ein Hub jedoch
unterstützt.
Dieser USB Extender erfüllt nicht alle USB Spezifikationen.
Daher kann er auch die maximale USB-Segmentlänge von
5m überschreiten! Er registriert sich nicht im USB Bus beim
Host.
Der Extender sollte direkt am Computer angeschlossen
werden!

Cet Extender Cat.5 USB 1.1 peut être utilisé pour déporter la
distance entre un périphérique USB 1.1 et un ordinateur
hôte jusqu’à 50m. Il est constitué par une unité locale
possédant un connecteur USB de type A mâle (côté
ordinateur hôte) et une unité distante (côté périphérique
avec connecteur USB de type A femelle). Un câble réseau
standard de catégorie 5 (UTP ou STP) d’une longueur
maximum de 50m est utilisé pour relier les deux unités.
Dans la plupart des cas le taux de transfert USB 1.1 Full
Speed (12Mbps) ne fonctionnera pas correctement
au-dessus de 50m.
Veuillez noter !
Le nombre maximum de Hub dans toute connexion USB de
l’hôte au périphérique ne peut être supérieur à 5, y compris
tout hub USB ou câble d’extension actif et le hub faisant
parti de cette extension.
Par conséquent, si vous utilisez un câble UTP/STP de 50m,
vous ne pourrez pas utiliser de hub ou de câble d’extension
USB supplémentaires entre ordinateur et périphérique !
En utilisant un câble UTP/STP de 40 m, un Hub USB
additionnel est cependant pris en charge.
Attention !
Cet extender ne répond pas à toutes les spécifications USB,
de ce fait il ne sera pas énuméré par le Bus USB. Il est
capable néanmoins d’étendre la limite de distance maximum
de 5m pour l’USB ! L’Extender devrait être connecté
directement sur un port natif de la carte mère.
This Cat.5 USB 1.1 Extender can be used to extend the
distance between a USB 1.1 device and a host computer by
up to 50m. It consists of a local unit with USB Type A
connector (host computer side) and a remote unit (device
side with built in USB type A female connector). Standard
Category 5 network cable (UTP or STP) up to 50m length is
used to connect the two units.
In most cases USB 1.1 Full Speed data transfer (12Mbps)
will not work over extended distances but is guaranteed to
work up to 50m.
Please note! The maximum number of hubs in any USB
connection from host to device cannot be more than 5
including any USB hubs or Active Extension cables or the
equivalent Hub rating of this USB Extender!
Therefore when using a 50m UTP/STP cable no extra hubs
or extension cables can be used between computer and
device! When used with a 40m UTP/STP cable an additional
USB hub is supported however.
Caution!
This unit does not fully meet all USB Specifications and as
such does not register with the USB bus. It is capable of
extending the maximum distance of 5m imposed by USB by
one USB segment only. Please consider these limitations
otherwise the USB bus may not function correctly! It should
also be connected to an exclusive USB port on your
computer.

Questo extender USB 1.1 Cat.5 permette di installare una
periferica USB 1.1 ad una distanza massima di 50 dal
computer. Il dispositivo include una unità locale dotata di
connettore USB Tipo A (lato computer) ed un’unità remota
(lato periferica) con porta USB tipo A femmina. La
connessione fra le due unità va effettuato con una cavo
Standard Categoria 5 per reti di computer (UTP or STP)
lungo fino a 50m.
In molti casi la modalità USB 1.1 Full Speed (12Mbps) non
funziona su lunghe distanze ma è garantita se si resta entro
50m di cavo.
NOTA BENE! Il numero massimo di Hub USB installabile su
una singola linea USB è pari a 5 includendo qualsiasi hub,
prolunga attiva o numero di hub equivalenti di questo
Extender USB!
Per questo motivo, utilizzando un cavo da 50 metri UTP/STP
non sarà possibile utilizzare alcun hub USB aggiuntivo.
Utilizzando invece un cavo da 40m UTP/STP sarà possibile
installare un ulteriore Hub USB .
ATTENZIONE!
Questo prodotto non è totalmente conforme alle specifiche
USB e per questo non viene rilevato sul bus USB.
L’extender vi consentirà di superare la limitazione di 5m sulla
lunghezza massima su un singolo segmento. Vi preghiamo
di tenere conto di questa limitazione prima dell’installazione
e vi preghiamo di connettere l’extender su una porta USB
dedicata del vostro computer.

Dieses Gesetz verbietet das Entsorgen von entsprechenden, auch

Geräte müssen den lokalen Sammelsystemen bzw. örtlichen
Sammelstellen zugeführt werden! Dort werden sie kostenlos
entgegen genommen. Die Kosten für den weiteren
Recyclingprozess übernimmt die Gesamtheit der Gerätehersteller.
