Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the USB 3.1 Type C to HDMI Converter with USB Type A port and Power
Delivery. This product has been designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both
a Lindy 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual
carefully and retain it for future reference.
The Lindy USB 3.1 Type C to HDMI Converter with USB Type A port and Power Delivery allows you to
maximise the functionality of a single USB 3.1 Type C port, allowing you to connect and simultaneously
use a HDMI display and USB SuperSpeed peripheral as well as a USB Type C power supply to your
MacBook, Ultrabook or Notebook.
With support for resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K 30Hz, including HDCP 1.4 protected content, the converter
is ideal for us by designers and video editors. Installation is simple as no drivers are required and the USB
Type C's reversible design means that you do not have to pay attention to which way the cable is inserted
into the port.
Please Note: A USB 3.1 Type C port with support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode is required for HDMI
functionality.

Installation & Operation
To begin using the converter simply connect the USB Type C male connector of the converter to the USB
Type C port of your computer and the HDMI socket of the converter to the video port of your monitor or
projector using an appropriate male to male cable (not included).
An additional USB device or hub can be connected to the USB Type A port of the adapter, USB
SuperSpeed 5Gbps data transfer rates are supported whilst legacy USB 2.0/1.1 devices may also be
connected.
By connecting a compatible USB Type C power supply (not included) it is also possible to charge your
Macbook or Notebook using the Type C Power Delivery port, just connect the power supply to the Power
Delivery port when required.

Installation & Betrieb
Der DisplayPort Alternate Mode verwendet den USB Typ C Anschluss als Videoausgang, eine
Installation von Treibern ist daher nicht erforderlich.
Stecken Sie den USB Typ C Stecker des Konverters in die USB Typ C Buchse Ihres Computers und
verbinden Sie den HDMI-Anschluss des Konverters mit dem Ihres Monitors. Dazu benötigen Sie ein
HDMI-Kabel Stecker – Stecker (nicht enthalten), welches im Allgemeinen Ihrem Monitor beiliegt.
An die USB Typ A Buchse des Adapters können Sie ein USB Gerät oder einen Hub anschließen.
Über den USB Typ C Power Delivery Anschluss können Sie bei Bedarf mithilfe eines geeigneten
Netzteils (nicht enthalten) Ihr Macbook oder Notebook aufladen.

Installation & Utilisation
La fonction DisplayPort Alternate Mode présente sur le connecteur standard USB Type C utilise cette
connectique comme un sortie vidéo, aucun pilote ou logiciel n’est requis.
Pour utiliser l’adaptateur, branchez tout simplement le connecteur USB Type C mâle de celui-ci au port
USB 3.1 Type C de votre ordinateur et la prise HDMI femelle de l’adaptateur à votre moniteur en utilisant
un câble HDMI mâle/mâle de la longueur requise (non inclus).
Vous pouvez connecter un périphérique USB additionnel ou un hub au port USB Type A de l’adaptateur.
En connectant une alimentation compatible USB Type C, il est également possible de charger la batterie
de votre Macbook ou ordinateur portable en utilisant le port Type C Power Delivery, connectez tout
simplement l’alimentation au port Power Delivery.

Instalación y funcionamiento
Para comenzar a usar el convertidor, simplemente conecte el conector macho USB Tipo C del convertidor
al puerto USB Tipo C de su ordenador y la toma HDMI del convertidor al puerto de video de su monitor o
proyector usando un cable macho a macho apropiado (no incluido).
Se puede conectar un dispositivo o concentrador USB adicional al puerto USB tipo A del adaptador, se

Instalacja i obsługa
Aby rozpocząć korzystanie z konwertera, wystarczy podłączyć męskie złącze USB typu C konwertera do
portu USB typu C komputera, a gniazdo HDMI konwertera do portu wideo monitora lub projektora za
pomocą odpowiedniego kabla męskiego do męskiego (brak w zestawie).
Do portu USB typu A adaptera można podłączyć dodatkowe urządzenie USB lub koncentrator.
Obsługiwane są szybkości transferu danych USB SuperSpeed 5 Gb/s, a także można podłączyć starsze
urządzenia USB 2.0/1.1.
Po podłączeniu kompatybilnego zasilacza USB typu C (brak w zestawie) możliwe jest również ładowanie

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead,
these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state, as well as the UK, has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in
slightly different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic
products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.

elektronicznego należy stosować oddzielne sposoby utylizacji. W Polsce zgodnie z przepisami ustawy o
zużytym sprzęcie elektrycznym i elektronicznym zabronione jest umieszczanie łącznie z innymi odpadami
zużytego sprzętu oznakowanego symbolem przekreślonego kosza. Użytkownik, który zamierza się pozbyć tego
produktu, jest obowiązany do oddania ww. do punktu zbierania zużytego sprzętu. Punkty zbierania prowadzone są
m.in. przez sprzedawców hurtowych i detalicznych tego sprzętu oraz gminne jednostki organizacyjne prowadzące
działalność w zakresie odbierania odpadów. Prawidłowa realizacja tych obowiązków ma znaczenie zwłaszcza w
przypadku, gdy w zużytym sprzęcie znajdują się składniki niebezpieczne, które mają negatywny wpływ na
