Introduction
The True Course™Tow Control System module acts as
intermediary for the trailer brake system. When trailer sway
is detected, the module sends a brake signal without truck
brake command in order to mitigate vehicle sway.

Installation
1. Hold the control module against the roadside trailer
frame and mark the locations for four pilot holes (Fig.1).
NOTE: Before positioning the module for marks, make
sure there is adequate length on the attached front 7-way
cord to connect to the tow vehicle.
NOTE: Place the module so it is level to the top of the
frame where it is to be installed.

2. Using a 1/8” bit, drill pilot holes for the four ¼” self-drilling
screws (Fig.1).
3. Install screws to secure the module to the frame (Fig.1).
4. Connect the attached 7-way cord to the tow vehicle.
5. Attach the trailer’s 7-way connector to the back of the
control module.

NOTE: The owner’s tag is also a label and can be removed
to be placed in the trailer for reference by the owner.
2. Read and agree to the license agreement.
3. Follow the prompts for connecting to an existing account
or creating a new account.
4. Tap the ‘+’ icon to connect to the RV and devices (Fig.2A).
5. At the Add and Explore page, tap Safety Systems (Fig.3A).
6. Tap Scan with Camera (Fig.4A).

Operation
Once the module is connected to the tow vehicle and the
trailer’s 7-way connector, the tow control system is active.
Connect to OneControl for system status and notifications.
Real-time updates will be provided. There is a label placed
on the bar code on the owner’s tag that will have all the
Bluetooth information.
1. Download and install the Lippert OneControl app on a
mobile smart device. The app is available on Apple App
Store®for iPhone®and iPad®and also on Google Play™
for Android™ users.

NOTE: Accept permissions required for use of app.
7. Scan the QR code on the credential label (Fig.5A).
NOTE: The QR code on the credential label will take the
user to OneControl and the credentials embedded for
connecting. The QR code at the top right corner of the
owner’s tag is a generic QR code that takes the user to
download OneControl.
8. Once the system has been connected, a message
will indicate the Safety System has connected
successfully (Fig.6).
NOTE: Make sure the 7-way connector from the trailer
is plugged into the True Course controller and the 7-way
cord from the controller is plugged into the tow vehicle
with the engine running.
