SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warnin : Hot surface!
SURFACES ARE LIABLE TO GET HOT DURING USE
- T is type of fryer may only be used wit oil or liquid fat, and is not
suitable for use wit solid fat. Solid fat may contain water, w ic
can cause ot fat to be sprayed out w en eated.
-Never switc on t e deep fryer wit out oil or fat, as t is could
damage t e mac ine. Also, do not place any ot er liquids suc as
water or ot er substances in t e pan.

- Wit deep-freeze products; Divide t e quantity of Frenc fries by 2 to avoid cooling t e oil too quickly.
S ake deep-freeze products above t e sink to remove excess ice.
- W en using fries made from fres potatoes: dry t e fries after was ing so t at no water will go into t e
oil.
- Deep-fry t e fries in 2 stages. First stage (pre-frying): 5 to 10 minutes at 170 degrees
o
C.
Second state(final frying) 2 to 4 minutes at 190 degrees
o
C. Drain well.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION:
- If you should accidentally switch on your deep fat fryer when there is no oil or fat in it the overheatin
protection is automatically turned on. The appliance is no lon er ready to be used. Unplu the deep
fryer.
- Only after the appliance has been left to cool down completely should the “RESTART” button on the
rear of the control element be operated in order to use the deep fat fryer a ain. For this you should use
a plastic or wooden object that is the least 4cm lon .

BEFORE USE
Before first use, remove t e packing materials
T en, was t e accessories and t e inner pan in warm water. Dry well before use.
Make sure t at t e electrical parts remain dry.
T e deep fryer is equipped wit an adjustable t ermostat and indicator lamps. T e “open” frying system
ensures excellent professional results and easy cleaning.
USE
1. Remove t e lid from t e deep fryer and take out t e accessories.
2. Fill t e deep fryer wit t e desired amount of oil or fat.
3. Make sure t at it is filled not less t an minimum level and not ig er t an t e maximum level as
indicated on t e inside of t e appliance. For best results, we recommend t at you do not mix different
kinds of oil toget er.
4. C oose t e temperature, w ic is suitable for w at you are frying. Consult t e temperature table.
5. Use t e andle to place t e basket in t e deep fryer.
6. Place t e food to be deep-fired into t e basket. For best results, put dry food into t e basket. Lower
t e basket into t e oil slowly to prevent excessive bubbling.
7. T e indicator lig t will go out w en t e temperature you ave selected as been reac ed. Always wait
until t e selected temperature as been reac ed.
8. To keep t e oil at t e selected temperature, t e t ermostat repeatedly goes on and off, and t e
indicator lig t as well.
9. Raise t e basket again w en t e frying time as elapsed.
10. Remove t e plug from t e outlet.
11. Rinse t e andle and t e basket after use, and dry t oroug ly.
12. Once t e deep fryer as completely cooled off, you can replace t e basket in t e appliance and store
it. Store t e deep fryer, wit t e lid close, in a dark, dry place. In t is way, you can leave t e oil and t e
basket in t e deep fryer w en storing.
TO REPLACE THE OIL
Make sure t at t e deep fryer and t e oil ave totally cooled off before replacing t e oil (and remove t e
plug from t e socket).
Replace t e oil regularly (if t e oil becomes dark, or takes on a different odour) once after every 10 times
usage.
Replace t e oil all at once; do not mix old and new oil.
Do not t row in t e normal rubbis bin, but follow t e guidelines of t e municipal waste collector in your
area.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Note: Wait t e deep fryer to be cooled down.
1. Clean t e outside of t e deep fryer wit a damp clot and dry wit a soft, clean clot .
2. Never use abrasive objects or liquids to clean it.
3. T e basket and t e andle can be cleaned in warm, soapy water. Dry well before using again.
4.
W en replacing t e oil you can also clean t e inside of t e deep fryer. Empty t e deep fryer and
first clean t e inside wit a paper towel and t en wit a clot dipped in soappy water. T en wipe
wit a damp clot and allow to dry t oroug ly.
