Thank you to have purchased a product brand LIVOO. We take great care in design, ergonomics and simple
use of our products. We hope that this product will give you complete satisfaction.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure
that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed;
we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect
use or a bad manipulation.
1. Before use check that the voltage of your wall
outlet correspond to the rated voltage
manner.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard (*).
3. Note when unpacking the appliance: DANGER
for children. Danger to life through
suffocation!

4. To prevent a life-threatening electrical shock:
Do not use this appliance nearby
water!
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
5. When the hair straightener is used in a
bathroom, unplug it after use since the
proximity of water presents a hazard even
when the hair straightener is switched off.
6. Never immerse the appliance in water or in
any other liquids.
7. Do not use the appliance while taking a bath.
8. Water and other liquids represent a danger. If
the appliance falls into water, pull out the
main plug immediately.

9. Pull the mains plug from the socket:
When a disturbance occurs.
Before you clean the appliance.
If you will not be using the appliance for a
longer period.
After each use.
10.For additional protection, the installation of a
residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30
mA is advisable in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for
advice.
11.This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance

in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
12.Children shall not play with the appliance.
13.Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
14.Make sure that the cable is not pinched in
cupboard doors or pulled over hot surfaces.
Otherwise the cable insulation may become
damaged.
15.The cable must not be twisted, pulled, kinked
or wound around the dryer. If the cable is
twisted, untwist it before use.
16.Before use check the cable for damages.
17.Regularly check the appliance and above all
the cable for defective and porous locations.
18.To avoid breaks never wind the cable around
the appliance.
19.Watch out that the plug never contacts hot
parts of the appliance.

20.Only use the appliance when the appliance,
cable and plug show no sign of damage. Never
use a defective appliance.
21.Never try to repair a defective appliance
yourself.
22.Danger of burning! Plates warm very fast, do
not touch them. Hold them distant from your
skin. Let cool them after use.
23.Do not leave unsupervised device when you
do not use it.
24.Insert no object into the appliance.
25.This appliance is reserved for a domestic use.
Any other use (professional, commercial, etc.)
is excluded.
26.Danger of fire due to high temperatures. Do
not use on artificial hair or capillary
extensions.
27.Danger of death due to electrical shock!

Never touch hair straightener with wet hands
when connecting it to the electrical mains or
during mains operation!
Withdraw the mains plug from the socket
before you clean the appliance.
28.Overheat protection!
If the appliance overheat switch off entirely
and let it cool for about 6 to 15 minutes. Once
cooled down, the appliance can be used again.
29.This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other
working environments
farm houses
by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments
bed and breakfast type environments

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who
is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case
you should return the appliance to this electrician.

WARNING
The following should be noted to ensure trouble-free
operation:
Only operate the appliance according to the details on the
nameplate. Do not subject the appliance to temperatures
below 10 and above 35 .
Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use.
Allow the appliance to run for approx.3-5 minutes before
using it for the first time. During this time a slight odor may
arise due to the manufacturing process. This is harmless and
only occurs when first used.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after
use and let the appliance cool down well.
2. Clean the different parts of the appliance with a damp
cloth.
3. Never use any abrasive agents or solvent.
4. Use the loop at the power cord to hang the appliances
on a hook.
DESCRIPTION
Before use, ensure you the hair straightener is clean of dust or dirt.
Your hair have to be clean, dry and tangle free.
We recommend you to establish your hair type before use the appliance and test it on strand of hair.

USE
1. Plug the unit and press the switch button. The light will go on. Then the appliance heats itself up to
the maximum temperature 120°C. It will be ready in 45 seconds.
2. After few minutes, you can start styling, run the hair straightener through the total length of the hair
section you chose without stopping.
Note: Keep distance of 30-50mm between roots and appliance.
3. After use, press switch button, let the appliance cool down and lock the plates thanks to the button
side before storing.
Note:
The appliance becomes very hot during the use, you have to hold it distant from your skin to avoid any
burn.
