Vielen Dank,
dass Sie sich für ein Loewe Produkt entschieden haben. Wir freuen uns, Sie als
Kunden gewonnen zu haben.
Mit Loewe verbinden wir höchste Ansprüche an Technik, Design und Bediener-
freundlichkeit. Dies gilt für TV, DVD, Video, Audio und Zubehör gleichermaßen.
Dabei sollen weder die Technik noch das Design einen Selbstzweck erfüllen,
sondern unseren Kunden einen höchstmöglichen Seh- und Hörgenuss vermitteln.
Auch beim Design haben wir uns nicht von kurzfristigen, modischen Trends
leiten lassen. Denn schließlich haben Sie ein hochqualitatives Gerät erworben,
an dem Sie sich auch morgen und übermorgen nicht satt sehen sollen.
Das Individual Sound Lautsprecher-System ist abgestimmt auf Loewe Flat TV-
Geräte.
Das Lautsprechersystem ist dabei individuell ausbaubar von einer einfachen
Stereo Kombination über eine Variante mit vier Satelliten-Lautsprechern und
Centerlautsprecher bis hin zur hochwertigsten Lösung mit vier Standlautspre-
chern. Mit dabei ist jeweils der Subwoofer mit integriertem Verstärker.
Sie können so DVDs in Dolby Digital Kinoqualität wiedergeben. Sie können aber
auch Stereo-Sendungen oder Stereo-Wiedergaben (vom Videorecorder oder
DVD Player) in Dolby ProLogic, bzw. Virtual oder Circle Surround in ein quasi 5.1
Surround-Signal umwandeln und mit dem Individual Sound Lautsprecher-System
wiedergeben. Ist Ihr TV-Gerät (ab Chassis L2700) mit einem digitalen Tuner
(DVB) ausgerüstet, wird das empfangene digitale Surround-Signal decodiert und
über die Individual Sound-Anlage wiedergegeben.
Die Individual Sound Lautsprecheranlage schaltet sich automatisch mit dem
Loewe Flat TV-Gerät ein und aus.
Die Einstellungen für Dolby Digital nehmen Sie komfortabel über die Menüs des
Loewe Flat TV-Gerätes vor.

Entsorgung
Verpackung und Karton
Für die Entsorgung der Verpackung haben wir entsprechend den nationalen Ver-
ordnungen ein Entgelt an beauftragte Verwerter entrichtet, die die Verpackung
vom Fachhändler abholen. Dennoch empfehlen wir, den Originalkarton und
das Verpackungsmaterial gut aufzubewahren, damit das Gerät im Bedarfsfall
optimal geschützt transportiert werden kann.
Das Gerät
Achtung: Die EU-Richtlinie 2002/96/EG regelt die ordnungs-
gemäße Rücknahme, Behandlung und Verwertung von
gebrauchten Elektronikgeräten.
Elektronische Altgeräte müssen deshalb getrennt entsorgt wer-
den. Werfen Sie dieses Gerät zur Entsorgung bitte nicht in den
normalen Hausmüll! Sie können Ihr Altgerät kostenlos an aus-
gewiesene Rücknahmestellen oder ggf. bei Ihrem Fachhändler
abgeben, wenn Sie ein vergleichbares neues Gerät kaufen.
Weitere Einzelheiten über die Rücknahme (auch für Nicht-EU
Länder) erhalten Sie von Ihrer örtlichen Verwaltung.
Reinigen
Reinigen Sie Ihr Individual Sound Lautsprecher-System nur mit einem feuchten,
weichen und sauberen Tuch (ohne jedes scharfe Reinigungsmittel).

be von Tonsignalen bestimmt.
Schalten Sie Ihre Anlage (Individual Sound Lautsprecher-System, TV-Gerät und

Grundsätzliches
Center Floor Stand I Compose auf stabile, ebene Unterlage stellen.
Center Floor Stand I Compose nicht in der Nähe von starken Wärmequellen
oder in direktem Sonneneinfall aufstellen.
Der Lautsprecher erzeugt magnetische Streufelder, die im Umkreis des Gehäu-
ses wirken. Wir empfehlen einen Mindestabstand von > 0,5m zu magnetisch
empfindlichen Geräten, wie z.B. magnetischen Datenträgern usw.

Montieren Sie das Audio-Link-Kabel

Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung
Bevor Sie mit der Inbetriebnahme und Einstellung beginnen, vergewissern Sie
sich, dass alle Kabel korrekt angeschlossen sind.
Subwoofer ein-/ausschalten
Mit dem ON/OFF-Schalter schalten Sie die Individual Sound Lautsprecher-
Anlage in Stellung „I- ON“ ein.
Ist der Subwoofer wie auf Seite 7 beschrieben angeschlossen, dann brauchen
Sie den Subwoofer nicht mehr separat ein- und auszuschalten. Nach dem erst-
maligen Einschalten des Subwoofers wird er immer zusammen mit dem Loewe
TV-Gerät automatisch ein- und ausgeschaltet.
Einstellungen am Loewe TV-Gerät
Melden Sie die neuen Geräte wie in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Loewe TV
Gerätes unter „Betrieb zusätzlicher Geräte“ beschrieben an.
Phasen-Umschalter/Bass-Intensität
Mit dem Phasen-Umschalter „Phase“ und dem Regler „Bass-Insensity“ 
haben Sie die Möglichkeit die Bass-Wiedergabe zu optimieren.
Wir empfehlen, folgendermaßen vorzugehen:
Wenn der Subwoofer in der Ecke des Raumes steht, den Bass-Intensitätsreg-
ler auf „Min.“ stellen.
Wenn der Subwoofer an einer Wand steht, den Bass-Intensitätsregler in
Mittelstellung bringen.
Wenn der Subwoofer frei im Raum steht, den Bass-Intensitätsregler auf
„Max.“ stellen.
Starten Sie z.B. eine DVD Wiedergabe und wählen Sie einen Titel mit Bassan-
teilen aus.
Lassen Sie von einer zweiten Person den Phasen-Umschalter betätigen, wäh-
rend Sie auf Ihrem Platz sitzen und zuhören.
Entscheiden Sie selbst, welche Schalterstellung in Ihrem Fall die bessere
Basswiedergabe ergibt.
Stellen Sie gegebenenfalls die Bass-Intensität nach Ihren Wünschen ein.

Grenzfrequenz einstellen
Mit dem Drehknopf „Crossover Frequency“ haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die
Grenzfrequenz für die Basswiedergabe, je nachdem welche Lautsprecher Sie
angeschlossen haben, zwischen 50 Hz und 250 Hz einzustellen.
Für den Center Stand empfehlen wir dies auf 120 Hz einzustellen.
Abdeckung am Subwoofer
Nach dem Sie die Einstellungen auf dieser Seite vorgenommen haben, setzen
Sie die Abdeckung an der Rückseite des Subwoofers wieder auf.
Drehen des TV-Gerätes
Die fertig montierte Einheit aus TV-Gerät und Center Floor Stand I Compose
können Sie per Hand um ± 45° seitlich drehen.

Our design is not influenced by short-term, fashionable trends. You have, after
all, purchased a high-quality piece of equipment which you do not want to get
tired of looking at tomorrow or the day after.
The Individual Sound loudspeaker system is designed for Loewe Flat TV sets.
The loudspeaker system can be individually extended from a simple stereo
combination through a variant with four satellite loudspeakers and a center
loudspeaker to the top quality solution with four standing loudspeakers. The
subwoofer with integrated amp is also included respectively.
You can thus play DVDs in Dolby Digital cinema quality. You can also convert
stereo broadcasts or playbacks (from a video recorder or DVD player) in Dolby
ProLogic or Virtual or Circle Surround into a 5.1 surround signal and play it over
the Individual Sound speaker system. If your TV set (from chassis L 2700 on)
is equipped with a digital tuner (DVB), the received digital surround signal is
decoded and played back over the Individual Sound system.
The Individual Sound speaker system switches on and off automatically with the
Loewe Flat TV set.
The settings for Dolby Digital can be made comfortably with the menus of the
Loewe Flat TV.

Disposal
Cardboard box and packaging
You have opted for a durable and technically sophisticated product. In line with
national regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materials, we pay a
fee to authorised recyclers who collect packaging from dealers. However, we
recommend that you keep the original cardboard box and the rest of the pack-
aging materials so that the unit can, if necessary, be transported in the safest
possible conditions.
The unit
Important: The EU Directive 2002/96/EG governs the proper
re-acceptance, handling and recycling of used electronic ap-
pliances.
Old electronic appliances must therefore be disposed of sepa-
rately. Never throw this set in the normal domestic waste. You
can hand in your old set free of charge at identified collection
points or at your dealer if you buy a similar new set. Other
details about re-acceptance (also for non-EU countries) are
available from your local administration.
Cleaning
Only clean your Individual Sound loudspeaker system with a damp, soft, clean
cloth (without aggressive cleaning agents).

For your safety and to avoid unnecessary damage to your TV set, please read
and observe the following safety instructions:
Your Individual Sound loudspeaker system is designed exclusively for playing
audio signals.
You must switch off your system (Individual Sound loudspeaker system, TV
and any other components which may be connected) before you can connect
or disconnect other devices or loudspeakers.

Damp and moisture

Do not place any containers filled with liquids or lit candles on top of the
unit.
Your Individual Sound loudspeaker system has been designed exclusively for pri-
vate household use. Warranty services cover this use for the intended purpose.
WARNING: TO RULE OUT THE DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE
THE COVER (OR THE REAR PANEL OF THE UNIT). THERE ARE NO PARTS INSIDE
THE HOUSING WHICH CAN BE REPAIRED BY THE USER. HAVE REPAIRS DONE
ONLY BY YOUR LOEWE DEALER.
If you have moved your Individual Sound loudspeaker system out of the cold
into a warm environment, leave it for about an hour because of the possible
forming of condensation. Do not switch on until it has reached room tempera-
ture. This avoids seriously damaging the components.

Suggestion for surround positioning solution
Setting up
Basic information
Place the Center Floor Stand I Compose on a firm, level base.
Do not place the Center Floor Stand I Compose in the vicinity of intense
sources of heat or in direct sunlight.
The speaker generates magnetic dispersion fields which act in the vicinity of
the housing. We recommend a minimum distance of > 0.5 m from magneti-
cally sensitive equipment such as magnetic data media etc.

Start-up and operation
Before beginning with start-up and operation, make sure that all the cables are
connected correctly.
Switching the subwoofer on/off
You switch the Individual Sound loudspeaker system on in position “I – ON”
with the ON/OFF switch .
If the subwoofer is connected as described on page 15, there is no need to
switch the subwoofer on and off separately any more. After switching on the
subwoofer for the first time, it is always switched on and off immediately with
the Loewe TV set.
Settings on the Loewe TV set
Make the necessary settings on your Loewe Auro Preceiver as described in the
Auro operating manual in the chapter “Initial start-up”.
Phase switch/bass intensity
The “Phase” switch and the “Bass intensity” knob enable you to optimize
bass reproduction.
We recommend you to proceed as follows:
If the subwoofer is in the corner of the room, set the bass intensity knob to
“Min”.
If the subwoofer is against a wall, set the bass intensity knob to the center
position.
If the subwoofer is standing freely in the room, set the bass intensity knob to
“Max”.
Start DVD playback for example and select a title with bass parts.
Have a second person activate the phase switch whilst you sit and listen.
Decide for yourself which switch position reproduces the best bass sound.
Set the bass intensity to suit your taste if necessary.

Setting the crossover frequency
The “Crossover Frequency” knob gives you the possibility of setting the limit
frequency for bass reproduction between 50 Hz and 250 Hz depending on
which speakers you have connected. We recommend setting this to 120 Hz for
the Center Stand.
Cover on the subwoofer
After you have made the settings described in “Start-up and operation”, replace
the cover on the rear of the subwoofer.
Turning the TV set
The fully assembled unit of TV set and TV stand can be turned 45° to either side
by hand.

Avec le nom Loewe, nous allions les plus hautes exigences en matière de techni-
que, d’esthétique et de convivialité.
Ceci vaut de la même manière pour les téléviseurs, les lecteurs DVD, les magné-
toscopes, les appareils audio et les accessoires.
Pourtant, ni la technique ni l‘esthétique ne sont des buts en soi, mais doivent au
contraire offrir à nos clients le plaisir maximum pour l‘œil et pour l‘oreille.
En ce qui concerne l‘esthétique, nous ne nous sommes pas non plus laissés
guider par les tendances éphémères de la mode. En effet, vous avez acquis un
appareil de haute qualité et dont vous voulez également profiter demain et
après-demain.
Le système de haut-parleurs Individual Sound est conçu pour les téléviseurs Flat
de Loewe.
Le système de haut-parleurs peut toutefois être étendu de la simple version
stéréo jusqu’à la version haut de gamme avec quatre haut-parleurs sur pied,
en passant par la variante avec quatre haut-parleurs Satellite et haut-parleur
Center. Chaque version comprend également le subwoofer avec amplificateur
intégré.
Ainsi, vous avez la possibilité de restituer vos DVD avec la qualité sonore Dolby
Digital propre aux salles de cinéma. Vous pouvez également convertir les
émissions et lectures stéréo (du magnétoscope ou du lecteur DVD) en Dolby
ProLogic, resp. Virtual ou Circle Surround en un signal quasi surround 5.1 et les
restituer avec le système de haut-parleurs Individual.
Si votre téléviseur (à partir de châssis L2700) est équipé d’un tuner numérique
(DVB), le signal surround numérique reçu est décodé et restitué via l’installation
Individual Sound.
Le système de haut-parleurs Individual se met en marche et stoppe automati-
quement avec le téléviseur Loewe ou le preceiver DVD Loewe.
Vous pouvez procéder avec une grande facilité aux réglages pour Dolby Digital
par l’intermédiaire du menu du téléviseur Flat de Loewe.
