multimedia receivers. Our engineers have spent years to bring you the best
car stereo players available. This unit features next generation Advanced
“SMART USB” technology, SD/MMC compatible memory card reader and
“AUX IN” input to enhance your car audio experience.
Included with this unit you will nd two iContact cables, IC-110 and IC-120.
IC-110 is used for direct connection of your portable media player such as
iPod* and other digital MP3 Players. IC-120 is used for next generation
MP3/cellular phones.

When an operation is prohibited
WhenyouarewatchingaDVDandattempttoperformanoperationthatisnotpermittedbythe
programmingonthediscamessageappearsonthescreen.

INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS
• Choose the mounting location carefully so that the unit will not interfere with normal driving
functions.
• Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfromdirectsunlight
orhotairfromtheheater,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
• Useonlythesuppliedmountinghardwareforasafeandsecureinstallation.
• Besuretoremovethefrontpanelbeforeinstallingtheunit.
NOTE:Inclinationangleforcarradioinstallationmustnotexceed30˚otherwisethefrontpanelwill
notopen.
NOTE: Keepthereleasekeyinasafeplaceasyoumayneeditinfuturetoremovetheunitfrom
thecar.
Detaching and attaching the front panel
Thefrontpanelofthisunitcanbedetachedtopreventtheft.
FOLDING DOWN AND DETACHING/ATTACHING THE FRONT PANEL
Beforedetachingthefrontpanel,besuretopressthe button(1)OFFrst.
Thenpressthe buttonanddetachthepanelbypullingittowardsyouasillustrated.
Notes:
• Donotpressthefrontpanelhardagainsttheunitwhenattachingit.Itcanbeeasilyattachedby
pressingitlightlyagainsttheunit.
• Whenyoucarrythefrontpanelwithyou,putitinthesuppliedfrontpanelcase.
• Donotpresshardorapplyexcessivepressuretothedisplaywindowofthefrontpanelwhen
attachingittotheunit.
CLEANING THE CONNECTOR
The unit may not function properly if the connectors
betweentheunitandthefrontpanelarecontaminated
withdirt.Inordertopreventthisfromhappening,detach
the front panel by pressing the button and clean the
connectorsfromtimetotime.
Cleantheconnectorswithacottonswabandcontact
cleanerasillustrated.Cleaneachpincarefullyandmake
surenottodamagetheconnectingpoints.

cellularphoneequippedwithamutingoutput.Whenacellularcallisreceived,asignalsentfromthe
phonetotheTelMutewirecausestheunittomutetheaudiooutput.Whenthecallisovertheaudio
levelisautomaticallyrestored.Tousethisfeature,youmusthaveacellularphonehandsfreekitwith
amutingoutputthatcanbeconnectedtotheTelMutecontrolwire.
• Pleaseseetheinstallationinstructionsforthecellulartelephonetoidentifythecorrectconnection
fortheTELMUTEwire.

Use and care of the remote control
Installing the battery
Slidethetrayoutonthebackoftheremotecontrolandinsertthebatterywith
the(+)andminus(-)polespointingintheproperdirection.
• Onrstuse,pulloutthelmprotrudingfromthetray.
CAUTIONS
• Removethebatteryiftheremotecontrolisnotusedforamonthorlonger.
• Donotrecharge,disassemble,heatordisposeofthebatteryinre.
• Donotstorethebatterywithmetallicmaterials.
• In the event of battery leakage, wipe the remote control completely clean and install a new
battery.
• Whendisposingofusedbatteries,pleasecomplywithgovernmentregulationsorenvironmental
publicinstitution’srulethatapplyinyourlocalarea.
• Alwayscheckcarefullythatyouareloadingthebatterywithplus(+)andminus(-)polesfacingthe
properdirections.
