car stereo players available. This unit features next generation Advanced
“SMART USB” technology, SD/MMC compatible memory card reader and
“AUX IN” input to enhance your car audio experience.
Included with this unit you will nd two iContact cables, IC-110 and IC-120.
IC-110 is used for direct connection of your portable media player such as
iPod* and other digital MP3 Players. IC-120 is used for next generation
MP3/cellular phones.

INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS
• Choose the mounting location carefully so that the unit will not interfere with normal driving
functions.
• Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfromdirectsunlight
orhotairfromtheheater,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
• Useonlythesuppliedmountinghardwareforasafeandsecureinstallation.
• Besuretoremovethefrontpanelbeforeinstallingtheunit.
NOTE:Inclinationangleforcarradioinstallationmustnotexceed30˚otherwisethefrontpanelwill
notopen.
NOTE: Keepthereleasekeyinasafeplaceasyoumayneeditinfuturetoremovetheunitfrom
thecar.
Detaching and attaching the front panel
Thefrontpanelofthisunitcanbedetachedtopreventtheft.
FOLDING DOWN AND DETACHING/ATTACHING THE FRONT PANEL
Beforedetachingthefrontpanel,besuretopressthe button(1)OFFrst.
Thenpressthe buttonanddetachthepanelbypullingittowardsyouasillustrated.
Notes:
• Donotpressthefrontpanelhardagainsttheunitwhenattachingit.Itcanbeeasilyattachedby
pressingitlightlyagainsttheunit.
• Whenyoucarrythefrontpanelwithyou,putitinthesuppliedfrontpanelcase.
• Donotpresshardorapplyexcessivepressuretothedisplaywindowofthefrontpanelwhen
attachingittotheunit.
CLEANING THE CONNECTOR
The unit may not function properly if the connectors
betweentheunitandthefrontpanelarecontaminated
withdirt.Inordertopreventthisfromhappening,detach
the front panel by pressing the button and clean the
connectorsfromtimetotime.
Cleantheconnectorswithacottonswabandcontact
cleanerasillustrated.Cleaneachpincarefullyandmake
surenottodamagetheconnectingpoints.

Installing the battery
Slidethetrayoutonthebackoftheremotecontrolandinsertthebatterywith
the(+)andminus(-)polespointingintheproperdirection.
• Onrstuse,pulloutthelmprotrudingfromthetray.
CAUTIONS
• Removethebatteryiftheremotecontrolisnotusedforamonthorlonger.
• Donotrecharge,disassemble,heatordisposeofthebatteryinre.
• Donotstorethebatterywithmetallicmaterials.
• In the event of battery leakage, wipe the remote control completely clean and install a new
battery.
• Whendisposingofusedbatteries,pleasecomplywithgovernmentregulationsorenvironmental
publicinstitution’srulethatapplyinyourlocalarea.
• Alwayscheckcarefullythatyouareloadingthebatterywithplus(+)andminus(-)polesfacingthe

OPERATION
DUAL ZONE OPERATION
DUAL Operation is a feature that lets the front seat passengers listen to the radio while the rear seat
passengerswatchandlistentootherprogramming.ThisunitsupportsconnectionofexternalAVdevices
suchasvideomonitorswithbuilt-inspeakersthroughtheAUDIOandVIDEOoutputs.DualOperationis
availablewhenoneormoreofthemultimediafunctionsareused:Disc,USB,orSD/MMC.
1. ConnecttheAUDIOOUTandVIDEOOUTRCAjacksonthebackofheadunittotheAVInputsofan
externalAVdevice.Theaudiooutputsarelinelevelsoanexternalamplierorampliedspeakerswillbe
needed.
2. PressandholdMODE.SelectmemorycardorUSBsource.
3. PresstheDUALbuttonontheremotecontroltoselectthedesiredmode.Ontheleftsideofthedisplay
youwillseeonetheseletters:T=TUNER,C=CARD,U=USB,D=DISC.ContinuepressingtheDUAL
buttontocyclethroughthefunctions.
4. Thenormaltunerdisplayhasbluehighlights.WheninDUALmodethedisplayshowsadifferentradio
screenformat.ThisindicatestheunitisinDUALOperationmode.
Note: This Dual Operation feature works when you connect this unit to an external AV system installed in
the vehicle. It is designed for systems set up to have a secondary AV system in the rear seat area.
VIEWING PHOTOS
1.Insertdisc,USBmemorystickorSD/MMCcardcontainingpictureles.
2. Usingremote( / ),selectPHOTOfunctionandpressENTER.

Note:
Press MENU on remote control to exit photo playback.
Press MENU on remote control will also go back one level or return to previous menu.
RESET
Theresetbuttonisplacedonthehousingbehindthefaceplate.Toreset,useasharppointedobject.Press
and hold the RESETbuttonfor2seconds.
Theresetbuttonistobeactivatedforthefollowingreasons:
• Initialinstallationoftheunitwhenallwiringiscompleted.
• Noneofthefunctionbuttonsoperateproperly.
• Errorsymbolappearsonthedisplay.
LISTENING TO RADIO
Band (BD)
Pressingthiskeyrepeatedlywillcyclebetweeneachbandas
follows:FM1---FM2---FM3---AM1---AM2.
Automatic or Manual tuning (SEEK + / SEEK –)
Whenpressedquickly,thesekeysoperateasMANUALtuning
mode.
When pressed longer than 1 second, these keys operate as
AUTOMATICtuningmode.
Auto Seek/Preset scan (A/PS)
Preset Scan (PS) -Bypressing quickly,the radioplayseach
presetstationfor5seconds.
Auto Seek (AS) -Bypressinglongerthan1sec,autoseekis
activated.The6strongeststationsarepresetandstoredinthecorrespondingpresetnumber.WhenAuto
Seekoperationisnished,theradioexecutesthepresetscan.
Storing and Recalling Frequencies
IfyoupressanyoftheNUMBER(1-6)youcaneasilystoreuptosixbroadcastfrequenciesforlaterrecall
withthetouchofabutton.
1.ChooseadesiredBAND.
2.Whenyoundafrequencythatyouwanttostoreinmemory,pressaNUMBER(1-6)andholduntilthe
presetnumbershowsandlitinthedisplay.
3.Theselectedradiostationfrequencyhasbeenstoredinmemory.Thenexttimeyoupressthesame
NUMBER(1-6)theradiostationfrequencyisrecalledfrommemory.
Note: Up to 18 FM / 12 AM stations can be stored in the memory.

Note: Disc / media sources must contain folder name for this function to work.
Specifying particular track
Duringplayback,alltracklenamesunderafolderwillbedisplayedonthescreenwiththeircorresponding
tracknumber.Youcanusethenavigationkeypadontheremotecontroltoaccesseachle.
Tips:
To select track 3, press 3.
To select 13, press and hold 10+ follow by 3.
To select 23, press and hold 10+ (2 times) follow by 3.
Random Playback
Press RDM duringplaybacktoplaythetracksinrandom/shufeorder.Pressitagaintocancel.
Stopping Playback
1. PressStoponremotecontrolduringplaybacktostopplayback.Thatpositionisstoredinmemory.
2. Press tocontinue.Playbackstartsfromthepositionatwhichitwasstopped.
Note: There is no STOP function in audio playback. Audio playback uses function.
Fast Forward / Fast Reverse
Note: or on remote control is the same function as or on head unit.

2.Onceyouhavelocatedthesectionyouwishtoplaybackonlooprepeat,pressandholdA-B button.You
willsee“Rep-A” onthescreen.
