car stereo players available. This unit features next generation Advanced
“SMART USB” technology, SD/MMC compatible memory card reader and
“AUX IN” input to enhance your car audio experience.
Included with this unit you will nd two iContact cables, IC-110 and IC-120.
IC-110 is used for direct connection of your portable media player such as
iPod* and other digital MP3 Players. IC-120 is used for next generation
MP3/cellular phones.

INSTALLATION
PRECAUTIONS
• Choose the mounting location carefully so that the unit will not interfere with normal driving
functions.
• Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfromdirectsunlight
orhotairfromtheheater,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
• Useonlythesuppliedmountinghardwareforasafeandsecureinstallation.
• Besuretoremovethefrontpanelbeforeinstallingtheunit.
NOTE:Inclinationangleforcarradioinstallationmustnotexceed30˚otherwisethefrontpanelwill
notopen.
NOTE: Keepthereleasekeyinasafeplaceasyoumayneeditinfuturetoremovetheunitfrom
thecar.
Detaching and attaching the front panel
Thefrontpanelofthisunitcanbedetachedtopreventtheft.
FOLDING DOWN AND DETACHING/ATTACHING THE FRONT PANEL
Beforedetachingthefrontpanel,besuretopressthe button(1)OFFrst.
Thenpressthe buttonanddetachthepanelbypullingittowardsyouasillustrated.
Notes:
• Donotpressthefrontpanelhardagainsttheunitwhenattachingit.Itcanbeeasilyattachedby
pressingitlightlyagainsttheunit.
• Whenyoucarrythefrontpanelwithyou,putitinthesuppliedfrontpanelcase.
• Donotpresshardorapplyexcessivepressuretothedisplaywindowofthefrontpanelwhen
attachingittotheunit.
CLEANING THE CONNECTOR
The unit may not function properly if the connectors
betweentheunitandthefrontpanelarecontaminated
withdirt.Inordertopreventthisfromhappening,detach
the front panel by pressing the button and clean the
connectorsfromtimetotime.
Cleantheconnectorswithacottonswabandcontact
cleanerasillustrated.Cleaneachpincarefullyandmake
surenottodamagetheconnectingpoints.

• Pleaseseetheinstallationinstructionsforthecellulartelephonetoidentifythecorrectconnection

Installing the battery
Slidethetrayoutonthebackoftheremotecontrolandinsertthebatterywith
the(+)andminus(-)polespointingintheproperdirection.
• Onrstuse,pulloutthelmprotrudingfromthetray.
CAUTIONS
• Removethebatteryiftheremotecontrolisnotusedforamonthorlonger.
• Donotrecharge,disassemble,heatordisposeofthebatteryinre.
• Donotstorethebatterywithmetallicmaterials.
• In the event of battery leakage, wipe the remote control completely clean and install a new
battery.
• Whendisposingofusedbatteries,pleasecomplywithgovernmentregulationsorenvironmental
publicinstitution’srulethatapplyinyourlocalarea.
• Alwayscheckcarefullythatyouareloadingthebatterywithplus(+)andminus(-)polesfacingthe

OPERATION
DUAL ZONE OPERATION
DUAL Operation is a feature that lets the front seat passengers listen to the radio while the rear seat
passengerswatchandlistentootherprogramming.ThisunitsupportsconnectionofexternalAVdevices
suchasvideomonitorswithbuilt-inspeakersthroughtheAUDIOandVIDEOoutputs.DualOperationis
availablewhenoneormoreofthemultimediafunctionsareused:Disc,USB,orSD/MMC.
1. ConnecttheAUDIOOUTandVIDEOOUTRCAjacksonthebackofheadunittotheAVInputsofan
externalAVdevice.Theaudiooutputsarelinelevelsoanexternalamplierorampliedspeakerswillbe
needed.
2. PressandholdMODE.SelectmemorycardorUSBsource.
3. PresstheDUALbuttonontheremotecontroltoselectthedesiredmode.Ontheleftsideofthedisplay
youwillseeonetheseletters:T=TUNER,C=CARD,U=USB,D=DISC.ContinuepressingtheDUAL
buttontocyclethroughthefunctions.
4. Thenormaltunerdisplayhasbluehighlights.WheninDUALmodethedisplayshowsadifferentradio
screenformat.ThisindicatestheunitisinDUALOperationmode.
Note: This Dual Operation feature works when you connect this unit to an external AV system installed in
the vehicle. It is designed for systems set up to have a secondary AV system in the rear seat area.
VIEWING PHOTOS
1.Insertdisc,USBmemorystickorSD/MMCcardcontainingpictureles.
2. Usingremote( / ),selectPHOTOfunctionandpressENTER.
3. Usingremote( / ),selectaletoviewandpressENTER.
Note:
Press MENU on remote control to exit photo playback.
Press MENU on remote control will also go back one level or return to previous menu.
RESET
Theresetbuttonisplacedonthehousingbehindthefaceplate.Toreset,useasharppointedobject.Press
and hold the RESETbuttonfor2seconds.
Theresetbuttonistobeactivatedforthefollowingreasons:
• Initialinstallationoftheunitwhenallwiringiscompleted.
• Noneofthefunctionbuttonsoperateproperly.
• Errorsymbolappearsonthedisplay.
LISTENING TO RADIO
Band (BD)
Pressingthiskeyrepeatedlywillcyclebetweeneachbandas
follows:FM1---FM2---FM3---AM1---AM2.
Automatic or Manual tuning (SEEK + / SEEK –)
Whenpressedquickly,thesekeysoperateasMANUALtuning
mode.
When pressed longer than 1 second, these keys operate as
AUTOMATICtuningmode.
Auto Seek/Preset scan (A/PS)
Preset Scan (PS) -Bypressing quickly,the radioplayseach
presetstationfor5seconds.
Auto Seek (AS) -Bypressinglongerthan1sec,autoseekis
activated.The6strongeststationsarepresetandstoredinthecorrespondingpresetnumber.WhenAuto
Seekoperationisnished,theradioexecutesthepresetscan.
Storing and Recalling Frequencies
IfyoupressanyoftheNUMBER(1-6)youcaneasilystoreuptosixbroadcastfrequenciesforlaterrecall
withthetouchofabutton.
1.ChooseadesiredBAND.
2.Whenyoundafrequencythatyouwanttostoreinmemory,pressaNUMBER(1-6)andholduntilthe
presetnumbershowsandlitinthedisplay.
3.Theselectedradiostationfrequencyhasbeenstoredinmemory.Thenexttimeyoupressthesame
NUMBER(1-6)theradiostationfrequencyisrecalledfrommemory.
Note: Up to 18 FM / 12 AM stations can be stored in the memory.

Note: Disc / media sources must contain folder name for this function to work.
Specifying particular track
Duringplayback,alltracklenamesunderafolderwillbedisplayedonthescreenwiththeircorresponding
tracknumber.Youcanusethenavigationkeypadontheremotecontroltoaccesseachle.
Tips:
To select track 3, press 3.
To select 13, press and hold 10+ follow by 3.
To select 23, press and hold 10+ (2 times) follow by 3.
Random Playback
Press RDM duringplaybacktoplaythetracksinrandom/shufeorder.Pressitagaintocancel.
Stopping Playback
1. PressStoponremotecontrolduringplaybacktostopplayback.Thatpositionisstoredinmemory.
2. Press tocontinue.Playbackstartsfromthepositionatwhichitwasstopped.
Note: There is no STOP function in audio playback. Audio playback uses function.
Fast Forward / Fast Reverse
Note: or on remote control is the same function as or on head unit.

2.Onceyouhavelocatedthesectionyouwishtoplaybackonlooprepeat,pressandholdA-B button.You
willsee“Rep-A” onthescreen.
