1. Introduction
i. About SILVERsensor
Thank you for choosing SILVERsensor by LOGICDATA. With
SILVERsensor, every eort has been made to ensure your comfort
and safety. This Manual is intended to enable persons to assemble
and operate the product safely. However, incorrect installation of
the product, or usage outside of the intended use described in this
Manual may lead to hazardous situations. In Chapter 2, “Safety”,
and throughout this Manual, potential risks, their consequences,
and steps to avoid harm are explained.
Observing the safety instructions in this Manual will help you to
avoid hazards and minimize damage to the system. All persons
involved in the assembly of the system must have the full product
documentation available to them at all times. Product documentation
consists of this Manual and any other relevant documents supplied
by the manufacturer. Documentation must always be kept complete
and legible.
In this manual, you will find important information that will help you
install the product correctly and safely. Important safety instructions
are included in Chapter 2 of this Manual. You are required to
read all safety instructions carefully before installing or operating
SILVERsensor.

The Charter of the French Language (La charte de la langue
française) or Bill 101 (Loi 101) guarantees the right of the population
of Quebec to conduct business and commercial activities in
French. The bill applies to all products sold and used in Quebec.
For products that will be sold or used in Quebec, Resellers must

To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, you
may not make any changes to the product or the antenna. Changes
to the antenna or the product could result in the product exceeding
the RF exposure requirements. This may void your authority to use

2. Safety
IMPORTANTSAFETYINSTRUCTIONS
i. About this Document
This Manual is intended to help users safely install the SILVERsensor
by LOGICDATA. It also contains instructions for operating the Bed
Frame to which the SILVERsensor is connected using a mobile App.
This Manual does not include instructions or safety advice for
assembling the Bed Frame, or for operating the Bed Frame using
the Remote Control, or through applications other than the mobile
App. You must also read the documentation for your Bed Frame
in full before installing the SILVERsensor or using the Bed Frame.
ii. General Safety Information
The following safety regulations and obligations are valid when
handling the system:
• Do not operate the Bed Frame unless it is in full working order
• Do not remove, change, bridge, or bypass any protection or
safety features
• Do not convert or modify the Bed Frame without written
approval
• Do not use unauthorized spare parts for repair
• Only physically able adults are allowed to assemble the product
• Do not attempt to change or replace parts unless the product is in
a de-energized state
• Ensure that no children or animals are in the proximity of the
Bed Frame when operating it
• Ensure nothing obstructs the Bed Frame’s range of motion (e.g.
night stands or open windows)
• Do not sit directly on any Platform when operating the Bed
Frame. Distribute your weight evenly

indicates a hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, will result

iv. Residual Risks
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electric
shock:
• Always unplug the Bed Frame
from the electrical outlet
before cleaning.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury
to persons:
• Unplug the Bed Frame from the outlet before putting on
or taking o parts.
• Close supervision is necessary when the Bed Frame is
used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
• Use this Bed Frame only for its intended use as
described in these instructions. Do not use attachments
not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never operate the Bed Frame if it or any parts have a
damaged Cable or Plug, are not working properly, have
been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
Return the bed for examination and repair or replace it.
• Keep all Cables away from heated surfaces.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not operate the Bed Frame where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
• To disconnect the Bed Frame, turn all controls to the o
position, then remove plug from outlet.
• WARNING: Risk of injury – keep children away from the
extended foot support (or other similar parts).

3. Box Contents
The SILVERsensor is delivered in a single package. The contents of
this package are listed here. If you are missing parts, or if parts are
damaged, contact LOGICDATA (see contact information, page 4.)
You will require a screwdriver (cross-head) to complete assembly.

4. Safety During Assembly
WARNING
Moderate risk of death to
children and animals
The plastic packaging of the
SILVERsensor is a potential
suocation hazard. Leaving
children or animals unsupervised
with the empty packaging
may lead to death through
suocation.
• Do not leave children or
animals unsupervised
• Dispose of unnecessary
packaging immediately

Risk of minor or moderate
injury through cutting
Contact with sharp edges may
lead to minor or moderate injury
through cutting.

Do not use a knife or a
sharp object to unpackage
the SILVERsensor. This may

5. Indentify your Bed
i. Standard Frame
Your Frame:
• Has 4 Platforms
• Has Plug Ports in the Side Rails of the Frame
You require this cable:
Go to Chapter 6 on Page 16 for Assembly Instructions
NOTE: For Queen and Twin XL Frames, mount the Cable clamp
halfway between the Side Rail and SILVERsensor to hold slack.

ii. Lite Frame
Your Frame:
• Has 5 Platforms
• Has a Control Box (in a net under the center platform)
You require this cable:

6. Assembly: Standard Frame
i. Before you start
1. Make sure the Bed Frame is in the Flat Position.
2. Unplug the Power Converter from the Power Outlet.
3. Remove the Mattress from the Bed Frame.
4. If relevant, unplug the Underbed Light Cable from the Side Rail.
ii. Preparing the Base Platform
1. Remove the Base Platform by unscrewing the Platform Screws
2. Place the Platform face-down on the floor.
iii. Mounting the SILVERsensor
1. Attach all 4 Damping Elements next to the holes (marked)
2. Find and mark the position of the SILVERsensor on the Platform
3. Screw in the SILVERsensor Mounting Screws with a screwdriver
4. Attach the Cable Clamp (Twin XL and Queen only, see page 14)

iv. Re-connecting the System
1. Re-attach the Base Platform using the Platform Screws,
2. Connect the SILVERsensor Cable to the SILVERsensor.
If your Bed has an Underbed Light:
Connect the Underbed Light Cable to the SILVERsensor Cable.
3. Plug the SILVERsensor cable into the empty Side Rail Port
v. Completing Assembly
1. Re-attach the Base Platform using the Platform Screws
2. Replace the Mattress
3. Plug the Power Converter back into the Power Outlet
4. Perform a Flat Position Reset (see Manual).

7. Assembly: Lite Frame
i. Before you start
1. Make sure the Bed Frame is in the Flat Position.
2. Unplug the Power Converter from the Power Outlet.
3. Remove the Mattress from the Bed Frame
4. Remove the Control Box from the Net
ii. Preparing the Base Platform
1. Remove the Base Platform by unscrewing the Platform Screws
2. Place the Platform face-down on the floor (net facing up).
iii. Mounting the SILVERsensor
1. Attach all 4 Damping Elements next to the holes (marked)
2. Find and mark the Mounting Position
(below the open side of the net, see above.)
3. Place the SILVERsensor in the Mounting Position. Mark the
intended position of the Mounting Screws.
4. Screw in the Mounting Screws with a screwdriver.

Insert and Turn
1. Connect the SILVERsensor Cable to the SILVERsensor.
2. Insert the SILVERsensor Cable into the “HS” port of the Control
Box, then put the Control Box back into the Net.
3. Re-attach the Base Platform using the Platform Screws
iv. Completing Assembly
1. Replace the Mattress
2. Plug the Power Converter back into the Power Outlet
3. Perform a Flat Position Reset (see Manual).

8. Operation via the App
i. Safety
WARNING
Risk of injury through crushing
The SILVERsensor App allows you to move the Bed Frame
continuously. There is a risk of injury during continuous
movement. To avoid this, ensure that:
• The Bed is in clear vision during continuous movement
• Children and animals keep clear of moving parts
• Children cannot access the App when the Bed is in range
• You lock your device to avoid unwanted use
