1. Description:
LONAKO series warning lights are designed for improving safety of ships and indicating the position of especial objects at night or poor visibility
weather. The lithium batteries inside lights can be recharged by both of solar and wind powers all day. When the power of warning lights are
turned on, they can automatically output flashing light in the night and turn off in the day depending on its light-sensitive system. Each type of
light has different functions and all the functions can be circularly changed by manual switch and wireless remote according to the requirements
of situations and weather. LONAKO warning lights are worldwide applied to small ships, yachts, fish boats, wharfs, berths, houses and so on.

4. Performance and Materials:
4.1 All warning lights have gotten CE and FCC approval.
4.2 The different functions can meet all kinds of situation requirements.
4.3 Four-Flashing and single flashing light can be used as indicating-position light.
4.4 Gradient single flashing light can be used as obstacle light.
4.5 SOS signal can be used as emergency light.
4.6 Steady white light can be used as anchor light and assistant lighting equipment in the special situation.
4.7 Light sensor on light can exactly distinguish the visibility of weather to automatically turn on or off the light.
4.8 Both solar power and wind power can ensure the battery to be fully recharged at any weather condition.
4.9 Lithium battery has the excellent charge and discharge properties to ensure the long working hours of light.
4.10 Wireless remote makes the operation more convenient.
4.11 The plastic parts made of anti-UV PMMA and PC can defend all kinds of weather.
4.12 LNK-WL-RGW is not the standard navigation light. So users cannot use it to replace the standard navigation light.
5. Installation:
5.1 LONAKO marine warning light should be installed on the top and side of ships and special objects in order to ensure its maximum
visibility in all directions. And the position of installation should avoid the risk of lightning stroke.
5.2 The components for installation include 1pcs shim, 6pcs screws, 2pcs nut, 6pcs clip and 1unit anti bird thorn. The biggest two clips are
fit for 1.2~1.3 inch pipe. The two smaller clips can be separately inserted into biggest clips to become one unit bracket for 0.95~1.05
inch pipe. The smallest clips can be separately inserted into the biggest clips to become one unit bracket for 0.7~0.8 inch pipe. The
components and brackets are showed in below pictures.

5.3 When installing the light, user should choose the suitable clips according to the size of pipe. One biggest clip with four holes can be fixed
with light in vertical or horizontal direction. So users should confirm the installation direction of pipe before installation.
5.4 Installation of light is very simple. Please operate as showed in below pictures according to the direction of pipe. If there is no suitable
clip harmonic with pipe, user has to look for the other way to install the light and must ensure the installation tightness.
5.5 In order to avoid the birds standing on light, one unit anti bird thorn is offered together with light. The users can stick it on the blank
place of solar panel as below picture.
6. Operation:
6.1 The top of light has light sensor and solar panel. The bottom of light has fan blade and two buttons controlling power and function. The
function can also be changed by manual switch or wireless remote.

6.2 After the warning light is installed well, user can press “POWER ON/OFF” to turn on the light.
6.3 Normally the first function is controlled by light-sensitive system. The light will automatically turn on and output flashing signal
repeatedly in the night and poor visibility weather. When visibility of weather becomes good in the day, light will turn off automatically.
6.4 Except the first function, the other functions will keep working unless user press “POWER ON/OFF” switch on light to completely turn off
the light or press “FUNCTION SWITCH” on wireless remote to OFF on standby.
6.5 The continuous working hours of steady light are not more than 12 hours in order to ensure the normal life of battery.
6.6 The battery will be recharged by solar and wind powers all day whatever the light is working or not. So the light has enough power to
work at any time.
6.7 The maximum functional distance of wireless remote is normally over 30m without any obstacle between light and remote. When the
indicating LED on remote become weak, user should buy new battery to replace and assemble the remote well.
6.8 Normally each remote matches its light. But if the old remote is lost or broken, the user can just buy new remote to match the old light.
The operation is very easy.
6.8.1 First, use one hand to keep pressing “FUNCTION SWITCH” on remote and point the light;
6.8.2 Second, use the other hand to press “POWER ON/OFF” at the bottom of light to turn on the light. After two seconds, the new
remote will match the old light.
6.8.3 Third, press “FUNCTION SWITCH” on remote and change the functions. It should be all right.
7. Maintenance:
LONAKO marine warning lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be done:
7.1 Keep the original packaging of light well and do not put heavy goods on light during storage.
7.2 Battery must be recharged at least one time within 3 months during storage in order to ensure its normal life. If the light is stored over
3 months, user should put the light under sunlight to recharge the battery for at least 8 hours.
7.3 Inspect and clean the solar panel and light sensor each 6 months in order to ensure the efficiency of absorbing sunlight and sensitivity
of distinguishing visibility.

8. Safety:
LONAKO marine warning lights contain Lithium battery. These must be handled correctly:
8.1 Do not dismantle product or battery pack.
8.2 Do not connect any external electric resource.
8.3 Do not recharge except product itself function.
8.4 Do not incinerate.
8.5 Store between -30℃～+65℃.
8.6 Dispose of used and expired lights in accordance with local regulation.
9. Packaging:
9.1 One unit standard warning light includes one light, one remote, one shim, six clips, six screws, two nuts, one unit anti bird thorn and one
instruction. All the components are packed in a box as below pictures. The size of box is 132*122*85mm and gross weight is about
445g.
9.2 Each carton packs 50units warning light. The size of carton is 620*274*465mm. The volume is 0.08m³and gross weight is about 24kg.
