Quick Start Guide
Function keys
Zooms out the Sonar page.
ZOUT
Zooms in the Sonar page.
ZIN
Press to return to a previous screen, clear data and
close menus.
EXIT
Press to save data, change values and accept menu
commands.
ENTER
Accesses the features available on each page.
MENU
Press to bring up the Pages screen, also press and hold to switch control
between the panels and combo (split screen) pages.
PAGES
Selects sonar frequency displayed on Sonar page.
FREQ
Activates cursor on Sonar page. Press up, down, left
or right to move the cursor.
Arrow
Keypad
Press to turn the unit on, adjust the backlight or place the unit in low
power (standby) mode. Press and hold to turn the unit off.
LIGHT
POWER
To view a page:
P1. ress PAGES to access the Pages screen.
Press the keypad left/right to select a page2.
display.
Press3. ENTER to display the selected page.

Cursor
Press the keypad to the left to scroll the Sonar page back to view previous
sonar returns. When the cursor is onscreen the sonar does not show real
time sonar returns. Press EXIT to return to normal operation.

To add a Data overlay to a page:
1. To add/edit data overlay, select the
desired page from the pages screen
and press MENU.
Select2. Edit data overlay and press
ENTER.
When the page appears press3. ENTER
to select data or MENU to access the
edit overlay menu.

Fishing Modes
Enhances the performance of your unit by providing preset packages of sonar
settings geared to specic shing conditions.
To select a shing mode:
Press1. MENU twice.
Select2. Sonar and press ENTER.
Highlight3. Fishing Mode and press ENTER.
Select the desired shing mode and press 4. ENTER.

*Ping speed settings in the table are shown as a percentage of the
maximum value. Ping speed values will look different on your unit.
Transducer Type
Selecting the proper transducer type from the sonar installation menu helps optimize
HDS performance by enabling settings (temperature and frequency) and menu
options specic to your transducer.
To select a Transducer Type:
Press1. MENU twice.
Select2. Sonar and press ENTER.
Select3. Installation and press ENTER.
Select the desired transducer type4.
and press ENTER.
Highlight5. Save and press ENTER.

To view two Frequencies at once:
Press1. PAGES to access the Pages
screen.
Select2. Sonar + Sonar to view two sonar
frequencies at the same time.

To select a split screen display:
From the Sonar page press1. MENU.
Select2. Sonar options and press
ENTER.
Select3. Split to open the Split menu.
Select the desired split screen and4.
press ENTER.
To select a Sonar page Palette:
From the Sonar page press the1. MENU key. The Sonar
menu will appear.
Select2. Sonar Options and press ENTER.
Select3. Palette and press ENTER.
Select the desire palette and press4. ENTER.
Sonar display settings/options
To adjust Sensitivity and Colorline:
From the Sonar page press the1. MENU key.
Select2. Adjust and press ENTER.
Press the keypad up/down to select3. Sensitivity or Colorline. Press
the keypad left/right to make adjustments.
