•Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by
a qualified, licensed electrician.
•If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified,
licensed electrician, and check your local electrical code.
•To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other
sharp objects.
•Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during
installation.
•Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
•Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
•To avoid the risk of burning, disconnect power and allow the luminaire to cool before handling it.
NOTICE: Green ground screw is provided in the proper location. Do not relocate the screw.
NOTICE: Use minimum 90°C supply conductors.

•Turn off electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring the luminaire to the
power supply.
•Turn off the power before performing any maintenance.
•Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information.
•All wiring connections should be capped with UL-approved wire connectors.
Installation Steps:
1. Shut off power to existing luminaire. Disconnect the black and the white power supply wires to the existingballast.
2. Remove louvers or lenses, ballast cover, lamp(s), lamp brackets, lamp holders, and ballast from existing luminaire
(see Figure 1).
3. InstallLED center lens end brackets provided with the retrofit kit to each end of the existing luminaire housing. To
do this, lift the existing housing and place the LED center lens end brackets between the existing housing and T-
grid (see Figure 2).

4. Secure the LED center lens end brackets to the existing luminaire housing using the provided #8 x ½” self-tapping
screws (see Figure 3).
5. Insert side rails into the existing housing. To do this, slide the side rails provided with the retrofit kit under the slots
on the ends of the center lens end brackets (see Figure 4).

6. Using the screws on the side of the LED center lens retrofit, place retrofit into existing housing using the keyholes
on the center lens end brackets (see Figure 5). Then make wiring connections. Connect the incoming power lines
to the LED center basket retrofit, with black wire to black, white wire to white, and green wire to green. See
General Wiring Diagram. Use only UL listed wires.
7. Swing LED center lens retrofit to the existing housing and use latches located on retrofit to lock into place (see
Figure 6).
