important safety instructions
• Do not use extension cords.
• Do not plug other electric appliances to the same power outlet.
• Hold the connector by the power plug, not by the cord.
• This product is equipped with a "Y" type polarized plug having a
built-in grounding wire.
• Do not remove the grounding terminal or use outlet adapters.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its authorized service agent or by qualified personnel in or-
der to avoid a hazard.
• If voltage variations are usual in your area, have a voltage regula-
tor installed.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-
dren) having reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to make sure they do not use the
appliance as a toy.
• IMPORTANT: Failure to follow these warnings, will make you en-
tirely responsible for personal injuries or material damages that
may occur from using this equipment.
The following conditions are not considered as a normal use of the
appliance:
• If it has not been operated in accordance with the provided opera-
tion instructions.
• Damages caused by accidents, electrical overloads, voltage fluctua-
tions, using an energy other than the specified, or catastrophes.
• If it has been used with commercial or industrial purposes, or for
other than the indicated in the operation instructions.
• If the product has been repaired by unauthorized persons and/or
service workshops.

installation instructions
before using your freezer
• Remove the exterior and interior packaging material.
• Check to be sure you have the following parts:
- 1 Storage Basket
- 1 Instruction Manual
- 1 Plastic Scraper
• Before connecting the freezer to the power source, let it stand up-
right for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a
malfunction in the cooling system due to its handling during trans-
portation.
• Clean the interior surfaces of the appliance with lukewarm water
and a soft cloth.
installing the freezer
• This is a freestanding chest freezer, therefore it should not be re-
cessed or built-in.
• Place the freezer on a floor that is strong enough to support it
fully loaded.
• Allow a 15 cm clearance to the back and sides of the freezer, this
will allow a proper air circulation.
• Locate the freezer away from direct sunlight and sources of heat
(ranges, heaters, radiators etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the
acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consump-
tion. A very cold ambient may also cause the freezer to malfunc-
tion.
• Avoid locating the freezer in moist areas.
• Plug the freezer into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded
wall outlet. Do not, under any circumstances cut or remove the
third (grounding) prong from the power cord. Any questions con-
cerning power and/or grounding should be addressed to a certi-
fied electrician or an authorized service center.
• After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, allow the unit to
cool down for 2-3 hours before placing food in it.

Temperature Control
Your freezer has one control for regulating the temperature. The
temperature control is located on the lower right hand corner.
Connect the freezer to power supply and“Power” indicator the
green light will shine.“Run ” indicator the red light will shine
in operation.

The temperature of the chamber is adjusted through the thermostat
knob. The number “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8”do not mean a specific
temperatures, the lower the number is, the higher the temperature
inside will be and verse versa. The user can choose the right
temperature zone according to their needs.
For refrigeration, temperature control knob should be set COOLING;
For freezing, the temperature control knob should be set FREEZING;
For quick-frozen, the temperature control knob should be set to SUPER.

the freezer compartment
• This compartment is designed for long-term storage of food. You
could store food up to three months.
• The maximum storage period of food varies and should not ex-
ceed the recommended storage period. Instructions regarding the
care of frozen foods should be followed when defrosting the
freezer.
• Pre-packed commercially frozen food can be stored in the freezer
following the manufacturer’s directions for a three star frozen
food storage compartment or home freezer.
• Place frozen food into the freezer as quickly as possible after pur-
chase. Carefully follow instructions regarding maximum storage
period.
• The freezer door is susceptible of breaking due to excessive ice
build up. Be sure to defrost the unit when the ice reaches 5 to 10
mm thick.
• A storage basket is provided to organize the available space. To
reach other packages in the freezer, just slide the basket from side
to side, or lift it out.
• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the
built-in structure, clear of obstructions.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the
defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manu-
facturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compart-
ments of the appliance, unless they are recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Unplug the unit after use and before carrying out any user main-
tenance job on it.
• Children should be supervised to make sure that they do not play
with the appliance.

Temperature inside
the freezer is too
warm.
• Temperature control is set too warm. Turn
the control to a colder setting and allow
several hours for the temperature to stabi-
lize.
• Door is kept open too long or is opened
too frequently. Warm air enters the
freezer every time the door is opened.
Open the door less frequently.
• The door is not properly closed.
• Door gasket does not seal properly.
• A large amount of warm or hot food
might have been loaded recently. Wait un-
til the freezer has had a chance to reach
the selected temperature.
• The freezer has recently been discon-
nected for a period of time. Four hours
are required for the freezer to cool down
completely.
Possible CauseProblem
Vibration. • Check to make sure that the freezer is
level.
• Floor is uneven or weak. Freezer rocks on
the floor when it is moved slightly. Be sure
floor is strong enough to properly support
the unit. Level the unit using wood or
metal shims.
• The unit is touching a wall. Move the unit
away from the wall and level it again. See
the installation Instructions section.
Bubbling or gurgling
sound, like water
boiling.
• Refrigerant (used to cool the freezer) is
circulating throughout the system. This is
normal.
Popping or cracking
sounds when com-
pressor comes on.
• Metal parts undergo expansion and con-
traction, as hot water pipes. This is normal.
Sound will lower or disappear as freezer
continues to run.
Temperature inside
the freezer is too
cold.
• Temperature control is set too cold. Turn
the control to a warmer setting and allow
several hours for the temperature to stabi-
lize.
