4. Follow instructions: All operating instructions should be followed.
5. Accessories: Only use accessories specified by the manufacturer.
6. Water and moisture: Do not use this apparatus near water.
7. Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings.
8. Heat: Do not install near heat sources such as radiators or other apparatus that produces heat.
9. Protect power cord: Power cord should be placed so that it is not likely to be walked on or pinched
by items placed upon it. Do not use the apparatus if power cord is damaged.
10. Cleaning: Unplug power cord before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a
damp cloth for cleaning.
11. Nonuse periods: Unplug the power cord if apparatus is left unused for a long period of time.
12. Objects and liquids: Care should be taken so that object do not fall and liquids are not spilled into
the enclosure through the openings.
13. Recycling: Equipment should not be disposed of in the normal waste stream. Dispose of battery
packs properly. Please follow your regional recycling scheme for batteries, packaging, and electronic
waste.
14. Damage requiring service: The apparatus should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
A. Objects has fallen inside enclosure.
B. The apparatus has exposed to rain or moisture.
C. The apparatus has been dropped or enclosure is damaged.
D. The apparatus do not operate normally.
15. Servicing: Refer all servicing to the qualified service personnel.
16. Warranty: Warranty service should be done by qualified service personnel authorized by Madboy
Audio International Oy. Warranty is invalidated if a warranty seal has been altered, removed or
defaced.

1. MIC 1 / MIC 2: Unbalanced 1/4" TS jacks for wired microphones.
LINE IN: Analog 1/8" stereo input jack for external audio source (music).
USB: USB connector for playing audio files from external USB memory.
TF CARD: microSD card interface for playing audio files.
2. HANDLE: Telescopic pull-out trolley handle.
3. LED ON/OFF: Turn the disco light on or off.
4. M-PRI: Set the music ducking function on or off. The ducking function temporarily lowers the
volume level of the music when the microphone voice signal is present.
5. LIGHT: Modify the style and color of the disco light.
Short press: Change the style of the disco light. Off, L 1-7
Long press: Change the color of the disco light. Automatic, 1. red, 2. yellow, 3. green, 4. light blue,
5. dark blue, 6. purple, 7. white (C
6. REC: Record the microphone voice to external memory (USB/microSD). Music cannot be recorded.
7. TWS: Enable / disable True Wireless Stereo function.
8. EQ: Seven different equalizer presets for music. 1. Flat, 2. Pop, 3. Rock, 4. Jazz
5. Classical, 6. Country
9. MEGA BASS: Turn on the mega bass to make the sound more powerful.
10. MAIN POWER SWITCH: Turn the power on or off.
11. PLAY/PAUSE:
Note 1
Bluetooth mode: Play or pause the music on the connected bluetooth device.
USB/Card mode: Play/pause the current music track.
FM mode: Automatically scan radio stations and store in memory (P1, P2..).
12. REPEAT: ”ONE” to loop a single track or ”ALL” to play all tracks from external memory (USB/uSD).
13. PREVIOUS:
Note 1
Bluetooth mode: Play the previous music track on the connected bluetooth device.
USB/Card mode: Short press: Play the previous music track.
Long press: Fast backward.
FM mode: Select the previous radio station stored in the memory.
14. NEXT:

Bluetooth mode: Play the next music track on the connected bluetooth device.
USB/Card mode:
Short press: Play the next music track.
Long press: Fast forward.
FM mode: Select the next radio station stored in the memory.
15. MODE: Select the input source for music. Bluetooth, FM radio, Line in, USB/microSD (if inserted).
16. MENU: Short press to browse between settings and adjust the setting by turning the main volume
wheel. Menu will close automatically after 5 seconds. Settings: music treble (t), music bass (b),
microphone volume (n), microphone echo volume (E). Keep ”MENU” button pressed over 5
seconds to reset all settings.
17. CHARGING INDICATOR: Red light: the battery is charging. Green light: the battery is full.
18. DISPLAY: The display shows the currently used mode and setting.
19. MAIN VOLUME WHEEL:
Main function: Rotate the wheel to adjust the music volume.
Secondary function: Change the value of menu setting when the menu is opened.
Note 1: Bluetooth device and application (YouTube, Spotify etc.) with AVRCP support needed.

Functions
1. GRILL: Removable metal grill protects a
cartridge from damage and an inner foam
filter reduces wind, breath and pop
noises.
2. DISPLAY: Display indicates the
frequency of the microphone. If the
display is blinking, it means the battery
level is low. Low battery level may cause
dropouts or completely signal loss. Please
replace batteries immediately.
3. POWER BUTTON: Keep the button
pressed awhile to turn the microphone on
or off.
4. BATTERY COVER: Battery compartment
for two ’AA’ batteries. Remove batteries if
the microphone is not used for long time.
Operation
ŸOpen the battery cover by turning the
cover counterclockwise. Install two
’AA’ batteries and close the cover. Pay
attention to the correct polarity.
ŸIf the display blinks, the battery level
is low. Please replace the batteries.
ŸTurn on/off the microphone by
keeping the power button pressed
awhile.
ŸRemove batteries if the microphone is
not used for long time to prevent
battery leakage.
Please handle the wireless microphone
with care. Warranty does not cover
damage caused by accidental misuse of
the product.

Functions
TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
TWS allows Bluetooth audio to be forwarded between TWS devices so that the audio is
played in sync on both devices. TWS master is the device that receives the Bluetooth audio
from Bluetooth audio source and forwards it to another TWS device (slave). TWS slave
device is the device receiving the forwarded bluetooth audio from the TWS master.
Instructions:
1. Set both speakers to Bluetooth mode (BLUE) using ”MODE” button.
2. Set one of the speaker to TWS slave mode (SLA) using ”TWS” button
3. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device, search for bluetooth devices and connect to
”MadBoy Total”.
4. Now you are able to stream the music to both speakers.
Note: microphone sound cannot be streamed between speakers only music.
Recording
You can record a microphone voice to external memory (USB/microSD) using the recording
function. Recorded files are stored into REC folder on the root of the memory. File name is
sequential number starting from 00001.mp3. The music cannot be recorded.

File format: MP3, 96 kb/s, 44.1 kHz, mono
Instructions
ŸInsert FAT32 formatted external memory.
ŸShort press ”REC” to start recording and stop the recording by short pressing the ”REC”
again. You can see record time on the display during recording.
ŸPlay the recording by long pressing ”REC” or press ”REC PLAY” on the remote control.

Connecting the Speaker
Basic operation instructions
1. Connect the power cord to the back side of the speaker.
2. Connect the audio source to the speaker.
3. Turn on the speaker and the wireless microphone.
4. Adjust the music volume level from a main volume wheel.
5. Adjust the microphone volume from a remote control or from a menu.
6. Now you are ready to sing!
Connecting the Bluetooth audio device
1. Press ”MODE” button on the control panel to select Bluetooth mode (BLUE).
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for bluetooth devices.
3. Select ”MadBoy Total" on the bluetooth device list. No password required.
4. Once connected, you can play music on your mobile device.
Connecting audio to the analog line input
You can connect analog audio source to the 1/8" stereo input jack. In case the audio source
has RCA output, use 1/8" stereo plug - RCA cable. If the audio source (PC, TV, etc) has
1/8" headphone output, use 1/8" stereo plug cable.

Connecting a wired microphone

You can play audio files from external memory (USB / microSD card).
File system: FAT32
File formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC
Instruction
ŸInsert FAT32 formatted external memory. Speaker starts to play files automatically.
ŸPress to play/pause the current track.
ŸShort press to play previous/next track. Long press to fast backward/forward.
ŸPress to toggle between repeat modes. Set as ”ONE” to loop a single track or ”ALL”
to play all tracks. Set as ”ALL” by default.
FM radio
ŸPress ”MODE” button on the control panel to select FM radio mode.
ŸPress to automatically scan radio stations and save them to memory (P1, P2..). Wait
until the radio stations are succesfully scanned.
ŸShort press to select the previous / next saved radio station.
ŸLong press to manually scan previous / next radio station. In this case the
scanned radio station is not saved. The frequency is restored back to 87.5 MHz if the input
source is changed or speaker is shut down.

VAROITUS!
Tulipalo- ja sähköiskuvaaran välttämiseksi, älä altista laitetta tai sen virtalähdettä sateelle tai kosteudelle.
1. Lue ohjeet: Lue kaikki turva- ja käyttöohjeet ennen laitteen käyttöönottoa.
2. Säilytä ohjeet: Säilytä turva- ja käyttöohjeet tulevaa tarvetta varten.
3. Huomioi varoitukset: Huomioi kaikki laitteeseen merkityt käyttöohjeissa olevat varoitukset.
4. Noudata ohjeita: Noudata kaikkia käyttöä koskevia ohjeita.
5. Lisälaitteet: Käytä ainoastaan laitteen valmistajan suosittelemia lisälaitteita.

13. Kierrätys: Laitetta ei saa hävittää kotitalousjätteen mukana, vaan se tulee toimittaa
elektroniikankierrätykseen. Kaiuttimen akku ja mikrofonien paristot ovat ongelmajätettä ja ne tulee
toimittaa niiden keräyspisteisiin.
14. Huoltoa vaativat vahingot: Toimita laite huoltoon, jos:
A. Laitteen sisälle on pudonnut vieras esine.
B. Laite on ollut alttiina kosteudelle.
C. Laite on pudonnut tai sen kotelo on vahingoittunut.
D. Laite ei toimi normaalisti.
15. Huoltaminen: Laitetta saa huoltaa ainoastaan näissä ohjeissa mainitulla tavalla. Kaikki muut
huoltotoimenpiteet on jätettävä Madboy Audio International Oy:n valtuutetun huollon tehtäväksi.
16. Takuu: Takuuhuollot suoritetaan vain Madboy Audio International Oy:n valtuutetussa huollossa.
Takuusinetin rikkominen mitätöi laitteen takuun. Takuu ei kata laitteen vääränlaisesta käytöstä
aiheutuneita vikoja.
