Quick Start Guide

Introduction
The Smart Plug monitors the energy usage of connected appliances. It allows you to turn
these devices on and off remotely as well as setting on/off schedules from the mobile app.
Get to know your device
Buttons
On/off buttons
Used to switch the socket ON and OFF
Reset Button
Return the device to default factory settings
Set the device in pairing mode so as to pair
with a wireless switch
LED Indicator

What it Means
LED Flashing
The device has not joined a network
Green LED solid on
The load is ON
RED LED solid on
The load is OFF
LED flashing three times
Entering pairing mode or return to the
default factory settings
Get Started
To get started, you will need:
• Smart gateway
• Smart plug
• Mobile App
Then follow the steps below:
1. Insert the Smart Plug into socket and the LED indicator will turn red or begin flashing
green.
Tip: If the LED indicator is not flashing, please press and hold the reset button for 10 second
to return to default factory settings until the LED indicator flashes twice.

2. Open Maevi (Maevi Smart Home) app and go to “Home Automation” tab. Press the
plus circle button at the bottom right of the screen and click the “Add Device” to pair
the Smart Plug with the screen to pair the Smart plug with the Gateway.
Tip: For this step, you could also press “Z” button on the Gateway for 2 seconds until the LED
indicator turns blue.

3. The Smart plug will be added into the Gateway; the LED indicator will turned on solid
when pairing is successful. Please check the app to see if it is added into the system.

4. Create schedule to turn On/Off the Appliances.

5. Rename Devices, Remove Device and Device Info
6. Connect the appliance which you want to monitor into the Smart Plug.

Resetting the smart plug
Use a pin key tool to press and hold the reset button for ten seconds until the LED indicator
flashes a twice.
