Locking/Arming the vehicle and alarm.
If the system is unlocked/disarmed, pressing button I for a half second will lock the
doors and arm the alarm. This function will still operate even while the vehicle is
remote started. The remote and vehicle will beep once.

1. Arming
● Red LED of Car Call sensor flashes, and the doors, shock sensor and Car
Call are monitored.
2. Door Trigger
● If the alarm is armed and a door is opened, the alarm will be triggered, playing
the siren and flashing the parking lights for 30 seconds. (Even if the Siren Chirp
is turned off.)
3. Shock Sensor
● If theshock sensor detects a heavy impact to thevehicle after30 seconds of the
alarm being armed, the alarm will be triggered, playing the siren and flashing
theparking lights for 9 seconds. The remote will be notified of theimpact and
will beep rapidly while displaying theimpact icon; a person hittingthe wind
shield.The siren will not play at this time if theSiren Chirp has been turnedoff.
● In the case of a light impact, the siren will chirp fourtimes, and the remote will
displaythe impact icon.
4. RPS (Remote Paging Sensor)
● If the RPS sensor is triggered while the alarm is armed, the remote will be
paged and will display the RPS icon.

● Siren may go off if you arm the vehicle while the hazard
lights are on.

3. RPS Car Call Display
When disarming, if the RPS was triggered while the system was armed, the
numbers of times it was triggered will be displayed.
4. Function of Shock Alarm
When disarming, if the Shock Sensor was triggered while the system was armed,
the numbers of times it was triggered will be displayed.

Unlocking/Disarming the vehicle and alarm.
If the system is locked/armed, pressing button Ifor a half second will unlock the
doors and disarm the alarm. This function will still operate even while the vehicle
is remote started. The remote and vehicle will chirp twice.

1. Disarming
● The door(s)will beunlocked the RPS LED will stop flashing, and thefollowing
details will beindicated accordingtothe number of chirps andparking light
flashes:
Twice: No trouble while thesystem was armed.
Four times: Alarm was triggered by strongimpact or aopened door.
2. Auto Rearm
● If a door has not been opened within 30 sec. of disarming the alarm, the doors
will be relocked and the alarm will arm. This feature is meant to protect against
an accidental disarm of the system. To prevent the rearm process, simply open
a door within 30 sec. of disarming the alarm. The system will not arm again
until given the command through the remote.

▶ In the alarm has been triggered, press button I. The siren will stop, but the
alarm will still be armed. The system will not respond for the first few
seconds after the alarm was triggered, this is because it is still trying to
send a signal out to the remote during that time.
▶ Press button Iagain to disarm the alarm.

AUX Mode Entry (ON/OFF)
As youenter AUXmode, the icon will be displayed.Ifan auxiliary channel is not
triggered within 60 sec., Aux modewill be cancelled. An auxiliary channel can be pro-
grammedfora pulsed, latched, or timed latch output. Youcan usethem to open or close
windows, turn on lights, activate heated seats, and other features. Please follow instruc-
tion.

AUTO Mode (ON/OFF)
Pressing button Ifor 2 sec. will turn on Auto mode. With Auto mode, thevehiclewill
unlock/disarm when the remote is getting closer, and lock/arm when the remote is far
away.

▶ Due to varyingvehiclesand environments, there may bea small areaof distance in which
the system thinks theremoteis far enoughaway to lock, and, closeenough tounlock.If your
remoteis within this area,the system will repeatedly arm and disarm. To avoid thissituation,
try placing your remote farther away from the vehicle.
▶ Auto modewilldrain your remote battery faster than normal.
▶ Weather and temperaturedifferences willaffectthe operation distance of Automode.

1. Extension of Remote Start Timer
During the running time, if you press button Ifor 2 sec.“Start-Again”
will scroll across the screen once and the timer will be reset to the preset time.
2. Remote Start Display
If theremote start confirmation is not receivedby the remote fordifferentreasons,
pressingany buttonwithinrange ofthevehiclewill update the remote andshowthe
remaining run time.

Remote Start (ON/OFF)
The vehicle will start and run for a preset time if button II is pressed for 2 sec. If
the vehicle is a diesel, the system will pause for a moment after turning on the igni-
tion to allow time to glow plug warm-up. (If needed.)
● Vehiclewill bearmed (if unarmed before start) by getting the signal from remote.
● Ifthe vehiclefails to start, asecondandthird attempt will bemade.
● Remote Start will run for the preset time(10, 25, 3, 5min.).Ifbutton II is
pressed again for2 sec.RemoteStart will shut off.
● The remote start running will continuefor20sec after a door opens. The car key
needs to bein Onposition within the20 seconds.
● After thevehicle has been remotestarted,the remaining run-timewill bedisplayed
on the screen.
● Ifthe timer goes 1 minute, theremote willwarn your with (beep) that thevehicle is
about toshut off.

The temperature sensorcan be located in aspecificlocation per acustomer’s
request byusing the extended cableif needed. (Option)
4. Car’s Battery VoltageCheck
Inchecking theconditionsof a car, thebattery voltage of a car can be checked with
thenumbers,if a IV button is pressed for 0.5second, once.
5. RemoteControl’s Battery Check
Afterchecking the voltage ofacar, thebattery voltage of aremote control can be
checked with thenumbers,if a IV button is pressed for 0.5 second,once.
The menu will changefrom“indoortemperature check””battery voltage check”
”the remainder of a remote control battery check”in order, if a IV button is
pressed.

Trunk Release
The trunk will be opened/unlocked, if a button III is pressed for more than 2 sec. If
the alarm is on, it will disarm and unlock the doors as well.
● If the vehicle has not a trunk actuator, it may be conve nient
to put the system in Valet mode if you are going to be in the trunk doing work
for an extended period of time.
● If the vehicle trunk release is a cable type and not electric, extra installation
steps will be required to make the remote trunk release functional.
● On vehicles with a trunk actuator, if the trunk is opened more than 20 sec.
while the vehicle is remote started, the remote start will be cancelled and the
vehicle will shut off.

▶ If trunk sensor is installed in a manual transmission vehicle, opening
trunk will cancel the remote start reservation.
▶ Installation of a trunk open sensor or connection of the sensor wire will
generally cost extra as it is an optional feature.

Valet Mode ON/OFF
Activate Valet mode by pressing buttons I + III for 0.5 sec. at the same time. (Valet
mode can also be activated with the ignition key as well, see page 36.) Valet mode
will put the system to sleep and almost all functions will be disabled. Remote
lock/unlock, code unlock, remote option programming, and the query function will
still operate.

OFF, which restores all functionstothe remote.

ignition kill systems that have been installed will be

Valet mode to avoid any problems they might have by
accidentally activatingvarious features.

Panic Mode four seconds
Ifbutton IV is held formore than 4 sec., Panic modewill be initiated. The doors will
lock, the parking lights will flash and the siren will play for 1 min. and 30 sec.
“PANIC”will scroll across theremote screenfor30 sec.
Siren ChirpON/OFF
By pressing buttonsI + IIfor0.5 sec,at thesametime, thesiren chirps from the vehi-
clewill bemuted. To un-mutethe sirenchirps, press buttonsI + IIfor 0.5sec. again.
Canceling PanicMode
● In operating self-emergency,remotecontrol will be turned off, in the caseof
remote wakeup.
● In operating self-emergency,a siren will operatefor 1 min 30sec, in the case of car
silence.
● Tocancel Panicmode, press buttonIfor 0.5 sec.

▶ Youcan usethis feature to draw attentiontoyou and your vehicleif you are
attacked or otherwise threatened.

Passive Arming, which will lock/arm the vehicle if it is disarmed, after 30sec, can be
turned ONby pressing buttons II + III at the same time, it operates under the following
conditions.

Shock Sensor ON/OFF
To turn off the shock sensor, press buttons I + III for2 sec.
The shock sensor is turned offif the [ ]iconisdisplayed on the LCDof the
remote.
This mode is useful ifyou will be parked ina loudor hightrafficarea such as an
airport. Turning theshock sensor off will help prevent false alarms.

Drive Lock (Ignition controldoor lock)ON/OFF
Drivelock icon“[ ]”will bedisplayed onremote control,by pressing I+IV
buttons for 0.5 sec at the same time, and thedoors will be locked in 30 seconds after
ignition is turned on.

Drive lock will beOFF, and drive lock icon will beturned off,again by pressing
I+IV buttons for 0.5 sec at thesametime.
Drive Lockfunction is not activated:
 during remote start,
 adooropenswithin 30 seconds afterignition is turnedon,
 adoorisopenwhen thevehicle is started with key.
Doors will beunlockedwhen ignition is turnedoff. (See page 39 for theprocedure
in setting up orcancelingthisoption.)

4. ParkingTimerRelease
Parking timerwill beturned off with a chirp from the remote, ifbuttons II + IVare
pressed for more than 2sec, whiletheparking timeris on.

Turbo function canbeturned on bypressing buttons III + IV for0.5 sec. With Turbo
modeactive, thevehicle will stay running after the keyhas been removed from the
ignition
Inthe case that Key is removed and the doorislocked, wakeup will maintain for
turbo function set-up time, however, a car whoseauto alarming function is ON will
beimmediately locked.
Inthe case that turbooperatingtime is set-up for 1 min, wakeup will maintain for a
while, ifKey is removed, but the doorunlocked/locked doesn’t work.
To stop the vehicle from running via the Turbo Timer, pressbutton II for more
than 2 sec.(In thecase ofa manual transmission vehicle, remote start reservation
will bemaintained.)

The Parking Timer can beusedtomonitor the time passed whiledrivingor being
parked.
2. ParkingTimer Set-up
By pressingbuttons II + IVformorethan3sec at the same time, theparking timer
will be set up and theremote will beep.
3. ParkingTimer Display
Afterstarting the parking timer, thedisplay will alternatebetween thepresent time
(for1 sec.) and the parking timer (for 2 sec.)
The parking time will also shows on tenth ofa minute“0~9(one tenth of60 sec)”.
The maximum displaytime ofthe parking timeris 99 hours 59 min.
TurboFunction ON/OFF
(Continue for 2 secalternating with thepresent time)
Timer Start Reservation ON/OFF
Timer start reservation is activated by pressing buttons II + IVat the sametime for 0.5
sec if timer has been set up. Once activated, the vehicle will start by itself at preset
time inevery24 hours .
(See page 38-Timer Start Set-Up)

The distance between cars shall be indicated withnumbers (25 to 1)andbeep
sounds (1to 5).
>> Thefarthest distance will beindicatedby 25 and 1 beep and thenearest will be

3. Car FinderModeCancellation
Car Findermodewill be cancelled, and“Car-Find End’will bescrolledacross the
display, ifa button is pressed or a signal is sensedfrom a car.
(i.e.: alarm trigger, car call)
Use this function ifit is not easy tofind your vehicle in a crowded place such as a
parking lot,etc.

3. Turbo Time Extension
Pressing button I formore than2 sec. while the turbotimer isoperatingwill
extendthe run time,as“TurboAgain”is scrolledacrossthe display.
▶ Aturbo timer is designed for vehicles with turbo chargers. After harduse,
the turbo housing will be very hot and allowing the vehicle to idlefora few
minutes will cycle more oil throughthe turbo whileit cools.
▶ Turbo Function works differently with LPGoption vehicles.
Warning!Since engineisrunningwithout key with this TurboMode,the dri
vershould make surethat the vehicle’s gear is in neutral.

Wakeup Interception Function
With this option installed: If the doorisforced open, whilethe vehicle is armed/locked,
thevehicle will not start with either the remote orkey.
Preheating Sensor
For remote starting diesel vehicles, the system monitors Wait to start lights to preheat
theengine.

Shock Sensor Trigger

Time information backup
1. It saves time information (current time, start-up reservation time and alarm time)
in thestatus where power has not beensuppliedto remote (at a time of replacing
batteries). If the poweris supplied again, users do not have to re-adjust the time
information.
2. Remote default is set inthe status when thetime information backupis released.
In order to set up thetimeinformation backup for theremote,users need to execute
the menu oftheremote once ormore.
After users execute themenu ((2+3)-), the time information backup is automatically
executed.
3. Cautions at atime of replacement of batteries
In order to use thetime information backup function more effectively,press button
No.4of theremote before and at a time of the replacement of thebatteries (commu-
nication with themain not needed at that time) to back up more accuratetime infor-
mation.

Reservation Mode prevents a manual transmission vehicle from starting in gear if the
system has been installed properly.
When key is turned off,the doors will unlock and theenginewill remainrunningup to
2 minutes. Within the 2 minutes, if a door opens then closes, the enginewill shut off
completing theremote start reservation.“[ ]”icon shall bedisplayed to confirm
thereservation.
▶ Inthe process ofReservation modeset up, thedisplaylights in the instrument
cluster may be ON for3 sec after theengine has beenturned off.
(This is a normal process.)

Automatic(Passive)Reservation
Ifbutton IIis pressed formore than 2 sec., before the key turned offand removedfrom
the ignition, the parking lights will flash and the siren will chirp one time. The engine
will stay running for 2 min. even if the key is taken out of the ignition. Before the 2
min. timer expires, you must get out of the vehicle and shut the door. Once the door
closes the engine will shut off and Reservation mode has now been set. The remote
start availability icon,“[ ]”will bedisplayed on theremote screen.

Controlling Shock Sensor Sensitivity
To adjust the shocksensorsensitivity, locatethe shock
sensor andadjust the dial onthesensor.The higherthe
number on the dial, the higher the sensitivity of the
sensor.
※Shock Sensor sensitivity can vary from vehicle to
vehicle for many reasons including where and how it
is mounted, and the size of the vehicle. Some after
install adjustment may be necessary to fine tune the
sensor.
Control of Siren Sound
In order to increase the volume of the siren, locate
the siren, (usually under the hood in the engine bay)
and cut the loop of black wire at the baseofthe siren.
Be careful not to cut thethicker black ground wireof
thesiren.
Iftheremote has been lost or damaged, you can enterValet Mode
usingthe ignition key ofthe vehicle. The followingsteps must be
completed within a limited amount of time, so please read
throughtheinstructions before beginning.
1.Turn thekey tothe“Ignition On”position.When the ignition
is on,thelights intheinstrument cluster willturnon.In most
vehicles thispositionis two“clicks”forward from the“Off”
position.
2.Move thekeyback one“click”tothe“Accessory On”position.
