Overview
D100 3D Printer is an innovative esign by Magna Concept. The
automatically calibration for the print platform is provi ing an easy to
use an accurate environment for 3D printing.

First time power on of D100
!! Please follow the procedures shown below when you are first
time to power on the D100 3D Printer. Otherwise the printer
may damage.
Proce ures:
1. Check the power switch. Make sure it is in OFF position.
2. Remove shipping protection foams at top si e an front si e.
3. Remove two car boar that insi e the printer.

4. Install the print platform.

6. Switch on printer. When the Logo appear, press an hol the
[Print] an [Change Filament] button. It will bring the printer into
Park mo e.

8. Switch off the printer an wait for 20 secon s. Then switch on the
printer again. After a while the printer will show “Printer Rea y” if
everything is correct.
9. Follow the section “Platform Calibration” to calibrate the print
platform.
10. Follow the section “Loa ing/Changing Filament” to insert the
filament.

Platform Calibration
For a proper printing, the D100 printer must calibrate its print platform.
The calibration shoul perform on the following situation.
– When first time power on your printer.
– After change of Extru er.
– After cleaning of print hea nozzle.
– After replace a new print platform.
– After repaire you D100 printer.
– Move the D100 printer to a new location.

Proce ures:
1. Switch off the printer an wait for 20 secon s.
2. Press an hol the [Change filament] button, then switch on the
printer. Release the button when “Calibration” show on isplay.

3. The calibration process nee about 5 minutes, please wait for the
process. When finishe , “Calibration complete ” will show on
isplay.
4. The D100 printer is rea y for printing when “Printer Rea y” show.

oading/Changing Filament
D100 printer is esigne to using 1.75mm PLA filament. There is a
filament hol ing kit bun le with D100 printer. It can be install on 3
ifferent locations of D100 printer to fit your con ition.
Proce ures:
1) Install filament hol ing kit.
2) Insert filament into gui ing tube.

3) Press [Change filament] button once to start the process. It nee
about 5 minutes to heat up the extru er.
4) When the isplay show “Insert new filament an press button”,
unloa the ol filament if you are in changing of filament.
5) Insert the filament into the extru er. Then press [Change
filament] button once again.
6) The D100 printer will try to loa the filament. Please hol the
filament an push it towar s the extru er gently. When you feel
the extru er pulling the filament, you can let go the filament.

7) If the filament is correctly loa e into the extru er, you can see
the PLA material moving out from the nozzle.
8) Press an hol [Change filament] button to complete the process.
Release the button when “Exit” show on isplay.

Print built-in testing object
It is recommen e that print the buil -in testing object for the first time
power on D100 printer. The testing object is store insi e the printer, no
nee SD car or PC connection.
Proce ures:
1) Remove SD car from printer.
2) Press [Print] button once to start the printing.

3) It will take 6 to 7 minutes to print out the object.

Installation of USB driver (Windows)
The USB river can be foun in the bun le SD-Car . The irectory
name is “USB\CDM v2.12.28 WHQL Certifie ”. If you o not plan to
perform printing via USB connection, you can skip this section.
For Win ows user, please rea the Installation Gui e foun on the same
irectory.
For macOS user, please rea the section - “Installation of software
(macOS)”.

Installation of software (Windows)
Minimum System requirement :
Microsoft Win ows 7 / 8 with 8GB system memory
Intel or AMD system with Dual-core processor or above Minimum 20GB
free space is available
The application software an USB river for your D100 printer can be
foun in the bun le SD-Car Application fol er, or it can be
ownloa e from Magna Concept website.
Important Notice:
USB evice river must be installe before installing the application
software, otherwise the D100 printer cannot be connecte to your PC
System.
Installation of Magna-D100 application
1) Double click the Magna_D100-EN-1.0.2.exe file an follows the on
screen instruction by pressing Next - > Agree. - > Install The
Magna-D100 application software will be installe in your system
automatically.
