Manual Introduction
This manual first describes the appearance, hardware structure, and board cards of MyPower
S12800 router; secondly, describes the installation preparations of the device and how to
install it to the cabinet; at last, describes the basic using methods and daily maintenance of
the device from the aspects of powering on and running the router, troubleshooting and device
maintenance.

MyPower S12800 series routing switch contains one product model: SM12800-12-MF (V1).
S12800 routing switch contains four slot types, that is, MPU, SFU, LPU, and SAIC. The four
slots should be inserted with MPU card, SFU card, LPU card, and SAIC card respectively.
MPU: Main Processing Unit control card. For the specifications, refer to Appendix A2 MPU
Card Specifications.
SFU: Switching Fabric Unit switch card. For the specifications, refer to Appendix A3 SFU
Card Specifications.
LPU: Line Processing Unit user line interface card. For the specifications, refer to Appendix
A4 LPU Card Specifications.
SAIC: System Alarm Interface Card. For the specifications, refer to Appendix A5 SAIC Card
Specifications.
1.1.1 SM12800-12-MF (V1)
SM12800-12-MF (V1) bare chassis dimension is 442 mm x 645 mm x 840.5 mm (W x D x H).
The chassis dimension after installing the chassis mounting ears, device head and power dust-
proof net is 484 mm x 745 mm x 840.5 mm (W x D x H). The front appearance diagram of
