*) Turn clockwise to bring out the probe, and counter clockwise to withdraw it.
Function keys
FUN In voltage measuring mode, this key toggles between direct voltage and alternating voltage measuring .
In ohm, diode and continuity mode this key toggles between each function.
D-H Data Hold, press this key to lock the reading. Press again to lock up.
M-H Max Hold, press key to lock the max. reading. Press again to lock up.
USAGE
AC Voltage Measurement
1. Turn the probe cap clockwise to bring out the probe.
2. Turn the function switch to V .
3. Make sure that AC is shown in the display, otherwise toggle the FUN key to AC mode.
4. Connect the test leads and check the reading.
DC Voltage Measurement
1. Turn the probe cap clockwise to bring out the probe.
2. Turn the function switch to V mode.
3. Make sure DC is shown in the display, otherwise toggle the FUN key to DC mode.
4. Connect the test leads and read the value.
5. Negative polarity is indicated with - in the display. The positive pole is on the fixed probe.
Resistance Measurement
1. Turn the probe cap clockwise to bring out the probe.
2. Toggle the FUN key until MΩis shown in the display.
3. Connect the test leads and check the reading.
Continuity Test
1. Turn the probe cap clockwise to bring out the probe.
2. Toggle the FUN key until is shown in the display.
3. Connect the test leads.
4. If the resistance is below 50Ω±30Ωa buzzer will sound.
