MOUNTING- SCOoPI bracket
Insert the bracket and fasten with the accompanying
washers and bolts. Note that the threaded rod is skewed
towards the large hole.

rod regardless of whether the Scoopi
stands outdoors or indoors/is xed in a

Place the Scoopi bracket on all Scoopis in the layout and fasten with
washers and bolts: See the instructions on p 3.
Drill two holes with a 22 mm drill bit in the front of the Scoopi as shown
in the drawing below.
Drill on the 2 marked spots with a 22 mm drill bit.

Through the large hole in the centre of Scoopi band out through both
the front drilled holes, mark on the side of Scoopi a with a permanent
marker. If there are more Scoopis in the layout, pre-drill (no 1) and mark
them all in the same way. It is an advantage marking out on a at surface.

Place a washer and nut loosely on joining bracket’s threaded rod.
Insert the joining bracket in the 22 mm hole and make sure that it goes
through and opens up on the inside of Scoopi a. Screw the threaded rod
in so about ca 45-50 mm (1,77 in) is protruding.Screw the washer and nut
tight. Repeat for second hole.
Place Scoopi a and b close together so the two linking brackets go through the
two pre-drilled holes on Scoopi b. Fit the washer and nut on both joining brackets
through the large hole in Scoopi band tighten it so that the two Scoopis are se-
curely attached together. Repeat on the other Scoopis in the layout. For mounting
Scoopi Button and the plug, see page 7.

Position both Scoopi brackets and mount them as shown on page 3.
Insert the Scoopi Table’s threaded rods into the pre-drilled holes and
mount with the 16 mm nuts supplied through the large hole on the inside
of the Scoopi in both a and b.
Drill with an 18 mm drill bit in the two holes in the front of the Scoopi as
shown in the drawing below on both a and b.

Place the Scoopi/Scoopis in the desired layout, where the two
Scoopis a + b are tted with a Scoopi Table.
See pages 4-5 for further instructions. Mount one Scoopi at a time.

MOUNTING - SCOoPI Table

After page 3. Insert the large plug into the hole on the inside of the
Scoopi so that it ts tightly. Unscrew the M 10 mm nut on the threaded
rod until it is down about 30 mm. Screw the Scoopi Button/Scoopi Table
Top rmly on the threaded rod until it is rmly against the inside of the
Scoopi.

SOLID SURFACE - The easy way
After page 3. Mark the holes at the bottom of the bracket and onto
the surface while the Scoopi is in position as shown on page 4.
Move the Scoopi aside. Drill a hole in the surface where the Scoopi
is to stand. Put the Scoopi back in position (Joining Scoopis p. 5). Put
the expansion bolt through the bracket. Tighten the nut so that bolt
widens in the pre-drilled holes. Use screws with washer for wood.
You must use an extension for your drill to screw the bolts/screws
rmly to the surface.
Insert the large plug in the hole on the inside of the Scoopi so that
it ts tightly. Give the upper part of the threaded rod a blob of Loc-
tite adhesive. Screw the Scoopi Button/Scoopi Table Top onto the
threaded rod until it is rmly against the inside of the Scoopi.
NOTE: Afterwards, it will not be possible to separate the two parts,
or it will be very dicult, but they can be separated mechanically.

Turn the Scoopi over on a soft surface and rmly tighten the nut up against the
Scoopi Button. Then fasten the F2 bracket in the 3 bushings at the bottom of
the Scoopi with screws with countersunk heads.
Put the expansion bolt through the bracket and tighten the nut so the bolt
widens in the pre-drilled hole. Use screws with washers for wood.

INDOORS: Fit any base levellers/felt shoes
on the bottom in the 3 bushings to avoid
scratches on the oor.
OUTDOORS: No base levellers.
After pages 3-5. Pour kiln-dried sand in through the big hole if it is not to
be xed in a permanent position. Insert the large plug in the hole so that
it ts tightly. (If the sand is to be emptied out later, there is a plug in the
bottom of the Scoopi.)
Screw the Scoopi Button/Scoopi Table Top rmly on the threaded rod
until it is rmly against the inside of the Scoopi and give the upper part of
the treaded rod a blob of the supplied Loctite adhesive. Afterwards, it will
not be possible to separate the two parts, or it will be very dicult, but
they can be separated mechanically.

POROUS SURFACE- The sensible way
Fit the bracket as shown on page 3.
Place the Scoopi on a soft surface, for example, a lawn, as shown on page
4. Stick the spade into the ground around the Scoopi. Dig a hole for each
one with a at bottom at the desired depth min. 1/2 metre (196.5 in)
Three long stainless-steel threaded rods (min. 1/2 metre) (196.5 in) of
attached to a
heavy and strong concrete slab by bolts. Follow the instructions on page
7 to the right, except for tting the expansion bolt. Instead; mount the
F2 bracket on the threaded rods with both washers and nuts, below and
above the bracket, as shown in the diagram below. The tile is placed in
the hole and covered so the sand or soil is ush with the underside of
the Scoopi.

Scoop & Scoopi and Scoopi Button in plastic, require very little maintenance.
If necessary, clean them with soap and water or/and with “rubber and plastic
cleaner” on any blemishes. They can easily be cleaned with a pressure washer.
Scoopi Button made from rubber, as well as Scoopi Table and Scoopi Table
Top, also in rubber, are water permeable and durable. Rubber products can be
cleaned and the colours can be freshened up with a shampoo that is suitable
for cleaning rubber.
Rubber products can be cleaned with a pressure washer, but carefully and with
less pressure so the surface is not damaged or becomes frayed. Chewing gum
can often be removed using the above method, or you can also use a freeze
spray. Then remove it mechanically. If lights are tted in Scoop Light, the light
chain, etc., must not be cleaned with water. See Scoop assembly instructions
for cleaning and mounting this.
Plug in the bottom of Scoop: Secure or remove (only out) before
permanently xing the Scoop in position. To mount the Scoop, see its
instructions.
Scoop & Scoopi Seat are not attached together. But placed quite
close together. If you choose to x them in a permanent position,
use the F2 brackets for both.
If you instead choose “the easy way”, pour sand in the Scoopi and
assemble as instructed above.
NOTE! The Scoopi Button must always be mounted on the bracket’s
threaded rod regardless of whether the Scoopi stands outside or
inside/is xed in a permanent position or not.
