The Marantz DV-3100 DVD player is engineered for exceptional picture and sound quality.
It features 10-bit, 27MHz video processing for unsurpassed clarity and color purity, along
with 96KHz/24-bit audio capability, plus built-in Dolby Digital®and DTS®compatibility for
superior audio performance and surround sound realism.
DV-3100 Features:
10-bit video D/A conversion with 27MHz filtering provides extremely high-resolution
video quality and color purity with an improved video signal-to-noise ratio.
Dolby Digital®and DTS®surround sound compatibility, for accurate playback of both
discrete 5.1-channel digital surround sound formats.
96 kHz/24-bit D/A converter deliver state-of-the-art sonic performance.
Premium optics and drive mechanism assure reliable, glitch-free playback.
Component video outputs provide maximum quality video playback. S-Video and
composite video are also included, as well as a coaxial digital audio output.
Spatializer N-2-2™3D virtual surround sound technology processes movie soundtracks
and stereo audio using advanced DSP circuitry to create a realistic, cinema-like surround
sound environment using the TV's two built-in speakers or a two-channel stereo system.
Video CD and CD-R playback capability in addition to DVD Video and CD playback
make the DV-3100 the ideal all-in-one program source for a totally integrated home
entertainment system.
Remote control operation and graphical user interface (GUI) on-screen menu
provides easy and intuitive operation.
D-BUS remote connection allows linkage to other Marantz components for integrated
system operation.
Full complement of viewing options and interactive capabilities offered by the
DVD-Video format, including multiple camera angles and aspect ratios, a choice of
language tracks and subtitles, parental control and more.
Wide selection of convenience functions such as a variety of slow motion, forward and
