1. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Connect
HV15™! This device allows you to convert an HDMI signal
(720p/1080p) to an analogue VGA signal with stereo audio. This is
ideal when you want to connect an HD source with an HDMI
output to a projector or PC monitor via the VGA input. Examples
of HD sources are game consoles, such as a PlayStation or Xbox,
Blu-ray players, digital TV boxes and all other HDMI devices.
Marmitek products are manufactured with the utmost care and are
exceptionally high quality. Please read this manual carefully and
follow the instructions in order to get the best from this product.

4. INSTALLATION
Before installation:
xTurn off all devices (monitor and HDMI source) before
connecting them to the Connect HV15™. If a device cannot
be turned off, please remove the plug from the socket.
xOnly use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best
picture and sound quality. Using too much force to connect
or disconnect the HDMI cables may damage them.
1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI source (such as a
game console, Blu-ray player or Digital TV box) to the HDMI
port marked "HDMI".
2. Use a VGA cable to connect the projector or PC monitor to
the output marked "VGA".
3. If desired, use a 3.5mm jack audio cable to connect an audio
amplifier or powered speakers to the output marked "Audio".

4. The Connect HV15™ is energy efficient and is powered by
the connected HDMI devices. No power adapter is required.
5. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No (or poor) image and sound
If you experience a poor picture or no picture after connecting the
HDMI converter, please try to identify the problem by connecting
the HDMI source directly to a screen (TV or projector). This allows
you to determine whether the problem is with the HDMI sources,
the HDMI cable, the HDMI converter or the screen.
xIf the connected HDMI device does not provide 5V power via
the HDMI cable, you need to power the HDMI converter via
the USB cable. Use the supplied USB power cable and plug
it into any available USB port on your other devices, or use a
standard USB power adapter.
xFor the best picture and sound quality, only use High Speed
HDMI® certified cables.
xDo not use HDMI cables longer than those specified in the
technical data.
xCheck the HDMI and VGA cables and/or connectors for
damage.

1. EINFÜHRUNG

HV15™!. Dieses Produkt wandelt das HDMI-Signal (720p/1080p)
in ein analoges VGA Signal mit Stereo Audio um. Ideal, wenn Sie
eine HD Quelle mit HDMI Ausgang über den VGA Eingang an
einen Projektor oder PC Monitor anschließen möchten. Beispiele
von HD Quellen sind: Spielcomputer wie PlayStation und XBox,
Blu-Ray-Player, digitaler TV Decoder und alle anderen HDMI
Geräte. Die Produkte Marmiteks werden mit großer Sorgfalt
hergestellt und sind von hoher Qualität. Lesen Sie diese Anleitung
bitte sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen, um die
Möglichkeiten dieses Produkts optimal nutzen zu können.

3. VORZÜGE
xKonvertieren Sie ein HDMI Signal in ein VGA Signal mit
Stereo Audio
xSoftwareinstallation nicht notwendig und somit schnell und
einfach in der Verwendung.
xEnergieeffizient und benötigt keinen externen
Speisungsadapter.
4. INSTALLATION
Bevor Sie beginnen:
xSchalten Sie alle Geräte (Monitor und HDMI Quelle)
zunächst aus, bevor Sie diese an den Connect HV15™
anschließen. Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose,
falls dieser nicht ausgeschaltet werden kann.
xVerwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und
Tonqualität ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte
Kabel. Verwenden Sie wenig Kraft, um die HDMI Kabel
anzuschließen oder loszukoppeln; diese könnten sonst
beschädigen.
1. Schließen Sie die HDMI Quelle (wie Spielcomputer, Blu-Ray
Player und digitaler TV Decoder) mit einem HDMI Kabel an
den "HDMI“ Anschluss an.

2. Verbinden Sie den Projektor oder PC Monitor mit einem VGA
Kabel an einen Ausgang mit der Bezeichnung “VGA“.
3. Schließen Sie, wenn gewünscht, einen Audioverstärker mit
aktiven Lautsprechern mit einem 3,5mm Audio-Klinkenkabel
an den Ausgang mit der Bezeichnung “Audio” an.
4. Der Connect HV15™ ist ein energieeffizientes Gerät und
verwendet die Speisung der angeschlossenen HDMI Geräte.
Ein Speisungsadapter wird nicht benötigt.
5. HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Kein (oder schlechtes) Bild und Ton
Wenn Sie nach dem Anschließen des HDMI Converters
(Umwandler) kein, oder ein schlechtes Bild empfangen, versuchen
Sie dann, die HDMI Quelle unmittelbar an einen Bildschirm
anzuschließen (TV oder Projektor). Auf diese Art können Sie
ermitteln, ob es an der HDMI Quelle, dem HDMI Kabel, HDMI
Converter oder dem Bildschirm entsteht.
xWenn das angeschlossene HDMI Gerät keine 5V Speisung
über das HDMI Kabel liefert, müssen Sie den HDMI
Converter über das USB Kabel mit Strom versehen.
Verwenden Sie dazu das enthaltene USB Speisungskabel
und schließen Sie dieses an einen willkürlichen, freien USB
Anschluss Ihrer übrigen Geräte an oder verwenden Sie einen
regulären USB Speisungsadapter.
xVerwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und
Tonqualität ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte
Kabel.
xVerwenden Sie keine HDMI Kabel, die länger sind als in den
technischen Daten aufgeführt
xÜberprüfen Sie das HDMI- und VGA Kabel und/oder
Anschlüsse auf Beschädigungen.

1. INTRODUCTION
Félicitations pour l'achat du Marmitek Connect HV15™ !
Il vous permet de convertir un signal HDMI (720p/ 1080p) en
signal VGA analogique avec audio stéréo. Idéal lorsque vous
souhaitez connecter une source HD avec une sortie HDMI à un
projecteur ou à un moniteur de PC par le biais de l'entrée VGA.
Quelques exemples de sources HD : consoles de jeux telles que
PlayStation et Xbox, lecteur Blu-ray, Décodeur TV Numérique et
tous les autres appareils HDMI.
Les produits Marmitek sont fabriqués avec un grand soin et sont

4. INSTALLATION
Conseils d'installation:
xEteignez tous les appareils (moniteur et source HDMI) avant
de les connecter au Connect HV15™. S'il n'est pas possible
de les éteindre, débranchez la prise de courant.
xUtilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI® High Speed
pour obtenir la meilleure qualité d'image et de son. Ne forcez
pas pour connecter ou déconnecter les câbles HDMI,
autrement cela pourrait les endommager.
1. Connectez la source HDMI (telle que console de jeux,
lecteur Blu-ray et Décodeur TV Numérique) sur le port HDMI
avec l'inscription “HDMI ”, avec un câble HDMI.

4. Le Connect HV15™ est éconergétique et utilise l'alimentation
électrique des appareils HDMI connectés. Un adaptateur
secteur n'est pas nécessaire
5. FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS
Pas d'image (ou image de mauvaise qualité) ni de son
Si après avoir connecté le convertisseur HDMI vous n'avez pas
d'image ou l'image est de mauvaise qualité, essayez de trouver la
cause du problème en connectant la source HDMI directement à
un écran (téléviseur ou projecteur). Vous pourrez ainsi déterminer
si le problème provient de la source HDMI, du câble HDMI, du
convertisseur HDMI ou de l'écran.
xSi l'appareil HDMI connecté ne fournit une alimentation de
5V par le biais du câble HDMI, vous devrez alimenter le
convertisseur HDMI par le biais du câble USB. Utilisez pour
cela le câble d'alimentation USB fourni et connectez-le sur
n'importe quel port USB disponible sur l'un de vos appareils
ou utilisez un adaptateur secteur USB standard.
xUtilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI® High Speed
pour obtenir la meilleure qualité d'image et de son.
xN'utilisez pas de câbles HDMI qui soient plus longs que ce
qui est spécifié dans les caractéristiques techniques.
xAssurez-vous que le câble HDMI et le câble VGA et/ou les

Informations environnementales pour les clients de
l’Union européenne
La directive européenne 2002/96/CE exige que l’équipement
sur lequel est apposé ce symbole sur le produit et/ou son
emballage ne soit pas jeté avec les autres ordures ménagères.
Ce symbole indique que le produit doit être éliminé dans un
circuit distinct de celui pour les déchets des ménages. Il est de votre
responsabilité de jeter ce matériel ainsi que tout autre matériel électrique ou
électronique par les moyens de collecte indiqués par le gouvernement et
les pouvoirs publics des collectivités territoriales. L’élimination et le
recyclage en bonne et due forme ont pour but de lutter contre l’impact
néfaste potentiel de ce type de produits sur l’environnement et la santé
