Safety Instructions
Before putting this scale into use, please read with care the information given in this user
manual, which contains important instructions for proper installation, use and maintenance
of the device.
Marsden/the manufacturer shall not be liable for damages arising from failure to heed the
following instructions:
•When using electrical components under increased safety requirements, always
comply with appropriate regulations.
•Inappropriate installation/use will render the warranty null and void.
•Ensure the voltage marked on the power supply unit matches your mains supply.
•Observe the permissible ambient temperatures for use.
•The device meets the requirements for electromagnetic capability. Do not exceed
the maximum values specified in the applicable standards.
•Do not use this pallet truck unless you are familiar with it and have been trained and
authorized to do so.
•Avoid using this pallet truck on a sloping ground.
•Never place any part of your body in the lifting mechanism or under the forks or
load. Do not carry passengers.
•Do not overload the truck, or handle unstable or loosely stacked loads.
•Ensure loads are distributed as evenly as possible on the scale.
•Lower the forks to their lowest setting when the pallet truck is not in use.

Cleaning
•This scale can be washed down with care. Always disconnect the scale from the
mains power supply before cleaning.
Maintenance
•Check the pallet truck daily for wear and tear, particularly if it is in regular use. Pay
special attention to the wheels, axles and forks, as well as the lift and lower control.
•Moveable parts will require periodic lubrication. Use motor oil or grease to lubricate.
•Air may enter the unit when seals have been replaced. Lift the control lever to the
lower position, then move the handle up and down several times.
