ENG USER MANUAL
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read this manual carefully before using the appliance and save it for future reference.
Before the first use, check the appliance specifications and the power supply in your network.
The appliance is not intended for industrial use.
For indoor use only. Use only for domestic purposes according to the user manual.
Do not use with damaged cord, plug or other injuries.
Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
Do not pull the cord. Always take the socket.
Never attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. If you meet problems, please contact the customer service center.
Using accessories or replacement parts that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause damage to the appliance.
Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning and removing parts. Keep unplugged when not in use.
To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. If this occurs, immediately unplug it and contact service center for inspection.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Never leave the appliance unattended.
Place steam iron on the ironing board carefully.
Be careful while operating with steam iron. Hot metal parts, water and ste
touch metal parts of working surface and water tank during operation.
Avoid of ironing zippers, rivets, etc., as they can scratch soleplate.
Do not place steam iron on the metal or rough surface.
Move and handle steam iron carefully to avoid burns, because of there could be hot water leakage, as well as hot steam.
Always unplug the appliance before filling with water.
Never leave the appliance unattended in contact with fabric or near inflammable materials.

FEATURES
MARTA MT-1101 and MT-1102 irons have got special features which help you to use the appliance with maximum comfort and pleasure.
CERAMIC COATING OF SOLEPLATE (MODEL MT-1102)
Ceramic coating of the soleplate easily heats to operational temperature, provides high-class ironing and easy gliding. Ceramic is an ecological and nature material.
STAINLESS STEEL SOLEPLATE (MODEL MT-1101)
Stainless steel solepate provides easy gliding and prevents gloss or stains appearing.
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
Anti-drip system prevents water leakage even while using low temperature modes. The system helps to prevent spoiling or staining delicate fabrics.
ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
The iron is provided with anti-calc system which helps to prevent scale. That extends appliance life and keeps high ironing level. Use only tap water for water tank.

SELF-CLEAN FUNCTION
Self-clean function cleans the water tank and plate inside and remove impurities. The fuction works with button. It is recommended to use once in 10-15 days. The function extends appliance life.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Please unpack your appliance. Remove all packing materials.

When use the appliance for the first time, there could be a slight emission of smoking. This is quite normal and stops after short time.
USING THE APPLIANCE
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Unplug the steam iron.
Set steam selector to OFFposition.
Open water tank lid.
MAXmark.
Close the lid.
NOTE: Use only tap
TEMPERATURE SETTING
Sort the fabric before ironing. Check the marks on cloths labels.
Start ironing with clothes which require low temperature ironing. Iron takes less time to heat up than to cool down.

If fabric is mixed (e.g. 60% synthetics, 40% cotton) set the thermostat to the temperature of the fibre which requires lower temperature.
Set the thermostat to position with fabric requires. The light indication is on while the appliance is heating up. When the iron reaches operational temperatire the light is off. You can start ironing.

STEAM IRONING
Unplug the appliance.
Set steam selector to OFFposition.
Open water tank lid.

Put the iron in a vertical position.

Set temperature with thermostat according to signs on clothes label.
Wait till light indication is off. That means that the appliance reaches operational temperature.
Set steam selector to required position.
NOTE: The iron gives off steam continuously only if it is hold horizontally and if you use high temperature setting. If the temperature is not high enough the steam is not vapourized and

STEAM SHOT
Use steam shot to generate a powerful burst steam that can penetrate fabric and smooth the most difficult and tough creases.

You can use steam shot function for vertical ironing.
VERTICAL IRONING
Set thermoregulator to or position.
Set steam selector to required postion.

Wait till light indication is off.
Set the iron vertically and lead it along the fabric. Press shot-steam button at the same time, making pause between presses.
CAUTION: Steam temperature is extremely hot! Avoid any contact with steam or hot water!
NOTE: Steam shot could be used only at high temperature. Stop steam shot using when light indication is on. Go on when the light indication is off.
Go on ironing when light indication is off.
DRY IRONING
You could use dry ironing even if the water tank is full. Nevertheless it is not recommended to fill water tank with water if you plan to use dry ironing continuously.
Set steam selector to OFFposition.
Set the steam iron vertically on ironing board.
Plug the appliance in.
Set required temperature with thermostat according to signs on clothes labels.
Wait till light indication is off. That means that temperature reached operational temperature.
SPRAY FUNCTION
Make sure that there is water in water tank.
Spray function could be used with any temperature mode and in any working mode.
Press spray button.
NOTE: Use spray function for delicate facbric ironing. silk and synthetics to avoid stains
and marks.
END OF WORK
Set thermoregulator to position.
Set steam selector to position.
Unplug the appliance.
Turn the appliance down and gently shake to pour rest of water.
Make sure that the steam iron is completely cool.
Roll up the power cord with the rewinder.
Always keep the iron in a vertical position.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance.
Wipe the appliance body with damp cloth and dry.
Use damp cloth or unabrasive cleaners for soleplate cleaning.
Abrasive cleaners using hurts iron soleplate.
Avoid scratching the soleplate with metallic objects.
SELF-CLEAN
It is recommended to use self-clean every 10-15 days to remove impurities inside the plate and water tank.
Fill water tank till MAXlevel.
Set steam selector to OFFposition.
Set thermostat to MAXposition.
Wait till light indication is off.
Unplug the appliance.

Hold the iron horizontally over the sink.
Hold Self cleanbutton until all boiling water, scale, impurities come out.
When soleplate cooles down, you could clean it with damp cloth.
STORAGE
Unplug the steam iron.
Make sure that the appliance is completely cool down.
Follow all the steps of article of User manual.
Roll up the power cord with the rewinder.
Always keep the iron in a vertical position.
TIPS
Use temperature for fabrics with unusual finishes (sequins, embroidery, flush etc).
If fabric is mixed (e.g. 40% of cotton and 60% synthetics), set the thermostat to the temperature of fibre which requires lower temperature.
