Gruppe 2/3, geeignet für Kinder von ca. 3,5 bis 12 Jahre (15-36kg)
1. DIE RÜCKENLEHNE BEFESTIGEN
• Legen Sie die Rückenlehne mit der Vorderseite nach unten
auf einen flachen Untergrund (1)
• Schieben Sie den Sitz entsprechend der Zeichnungen 2-3 in einem
Winkel von ca. 50° in die Haken unten an die Rückenstütze (2,3)
• Drehen Sie den Sitz nach unten und unter der Rückenstütze
hindurch bis beide eine Einheit bilden. Die Haken an der
Lendenstütze greifen nun in die Öffnungen der Armlehne (2,3)
• Drücken Sie die Rückenstütze über den „Klick“ hinweg (3)

2. DEN MAXI-COSI RODI XR IM AUTO INSTALLIEREN

KOPFSTÜTZE VERSTELLEN
• Mit einer Hand den Verstellgriff betätigen
• Andere Hand auf die Oberseite der
Rückenstütze legen
• Verstellgriff eindrücken und Kopfstütze
nach oben ziehen mit der anderen Hand
gegen die Rückenstütze drücken
• Verstellgriff in der gewählten Position
loslassen > rastet ein

BEFESTIGUNG DES ANKERS
• Autokopfstütze in höchste Position
• Sitzkopfstütze in niedrigste Position
• Anker zwischen Stäben der Fahrzeugkopfstütze befestigen
• Beide Kopfstützen wieder in gewünschte Position bringen
• In Wagen ohne Kopfstütze kann der Sitz nicht über den Anker befestigt werden

Befestigung auf fast allen nach vorn
gerichteten Sitzen des Wagens mit den
vorhandenen Sicherheitsgurten
Möglicherweise ist das Schlossteil des
Autogurts zu lange und liegt zu hoch
an dem Sitz. Der Sitz lässt sich so nicht
befestigen > andere Position im Auto
verwenden

WICHTIG
• Es ist unbedingt erforderlich den Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR IMMER in Verbindung mit der Rückenstütze zu verwenden.
• Der richtige Verlauf des Autogurts ist von höchster Wichtigkeit für die Sicherheit Ihres Kindes. Der Autogurt muss entlang der roten Markierungen an
dem Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR angebracht werden
• Der Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR darf ausschließlich auf einem nach vorn gerichteten Sitz mit einem Dreipunkt-Sicherheitsgurt verwendet werden. Umklappbare
Rückensitze müssen verriegelt werden. Die Rückenlehne des Autositzes muss sich immer in aufrechter Position benden.
Darüber hinausgehende Hinweise entnehmen Sie bitte aus der Originalgebrauchsanweisung des Herstellers (entweder an der Rückseite des Sitzes zu
nden oder bei jeder Europcar Station zu bekommen).
3. IHR KIND IN DEN MAXI-COSI RODI XR SETZEN

• Höhe der Kopfstütze anpassen, Gurt soll
in einer möglichst geraden Linie durch die
Gurtführungen zum Gurtstraffer verlaufen
• Der Gurt soll nicht am Hals anliegen, wenn
nötig die Kopfstütze niedriger einstellen
• Gurtverlauf optimieren, wenn der Sicher-
heitsgurt höhenverstellbar ist
• Schultergurt straff ziehen

ACHTUNG:
• Kopfstütze muss in der richtigen Höhe
eingestellt sein
• rot markierte Gurtführungen benden
sich mindestens 10 mm über den
Schultern des Kindes

• Setzen Sie Ihr Kind aufrecht in den Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR
• Beckengurt unter beiden Armstützen des Kindersitzes über den Beinen des Kindes durchführen
• Sicherheitsgurt in das Gurtschloss des Autos stecken
• Beckengurt soll nicht auf den Bauch drücken, sondern über die Hüften verlaufend und straff angezogen sein
• Führen Sie den Schultergurt unter der Armstütze durch den Gurtführung und anschließend durch die roten
Gurtführungen an der Kopfstütze
• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Gurt nicht verdreht ist und gut über der Schulter des Kindes anliegt

1. ATTACHING THE BACKREST
• Place the backrest of the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR on a at surface
with the front facing downward (1)
• Next slide the seat around a 50° angle into the hooks at the
bottom of the backrest as shown in illustrations 2 and 3
• Push the seat downwards and under the backrest until they
form a seat. The hooks on the lumbar spots willl now fall into
the openings in the armrests (2,3)
• Continue pushing the backrest until you hear a „click“

USING THE ANCHOR
• Adjust the headrest on the passenger seat into the highest position
• Adjust the headrest on the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR into the lowest position
• Place the anchor between the 2 bars of the headrest and the passenger seat
• Once the anchor has been secured, both headrests can be adjusted into the desired position
• The anchor cannot be used if the passenger seat is not equipped with a headrest

The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR can be installed safely
in a forward-facing position. On some seats,
the belts are tted so far forward that pro-
per installation is not possible. Try a different
seat in this case. In some instances, the seat
belt buckle may be too long and therefore
positioned too high against the base of the
Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR. The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR
can therefore not be installed securely. In
that case, choose another seating position
in the car.
1ADJUST THE HEADREST
• Grab hold of the headrest with one hand
on top so that your ngers t into the
positioning handle
• Place your other hand on the top of the
backrest
• Squeeze the positioning handle and pull up
on the headrest while pushing against the
backrest with your other hand
• Once you have reached the desired height,
release the positioning handle, thereby
allowing it to click into the right position
IMPORTANT
• The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR always has to be used with the backrest.
• Correct tting of the car seat belt is essential for the safety of your child. The seat belt must be threaded along the red markings on the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR.
• The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR must only be used in a forward-facing seat equipped with a 3-point safety belt. All fold down rear seats must be locked.
The backrest of the seat must always be in an upright position.
For further information please carefully read the manufacturer’s original instruction manual. This can be found at the backside of your seat or you can
ask for it at every Europcar station.
3. PLACING A CHILD IN THE MAXI-COSI RODI XR

• Adjust the height of the headrest until the
belt runs from the belt hook to the seat belt
retractor in as straight line as possible
• Make sure that the belt is not resting against
the child’s neck
• Lower the headrest if necessary to prevent
this. If the car seat belt is height adjustable
• You can optimize the routing of the belt by ad-
justing its height. Pull the shoulder belt tight

IMPORTANT:
• Make sure the headrest has been
adjusted to the proper height
• Make sure that the red belt hooks
are located at least 10 mm above the
child’s shoulder

• Have your child sit in the Maxi-Cosi XR with his back rmly against the backrest
• Pull the seat belt around your child. Thread the lap belt under both armrests
• Fasten the seat buckle and pull the lap belt tightly. Make sure that the lap belt does not press against the
child’s stomach but runs across his hips, and that it is secured tightly
• Thread the shoulder belt under the armrest through the belt guides and then through the red belt hook in
the headrest
• Make sure the belt is not twisted and that it is resting on the child’s shoulder. Make sure the headrest has
been adjusted to the proper height
