The Dustblocker 700 from MAXVAC has been manufactured with the greatest
care, and we hope that you will be happy with the Dustblocker 700 you have
just purchased. However, if the Dustblocker 700 does not fully comply with your
expectations, please contact your supplier.

CAUTION
GENERAL
Dustblockers can only be used for ltering dry, non-explosive dust.
Dustblockers cannot be used in moist rooms or rooms where an explosion
hazard may exist.
Only connect to 230V, check if this matches your network. Do not use this
machine with 110V.
MAXVAC cannot be held liable if the Dustblocker is used for other applications or
if the Dustblocker is not used in accordance with this manual.
Damaged cables that have been bent or torn, can be dangerous during use
of the device and must be replaced immediately in order to prevent personal
injuries.
In order to prevent personal injuries and property damages you must place the
device on a sturdy foundation, so that the Dustblocker 700 cannot fall over.
Make sure you keep ngers clear when opening and closing the machine lter
housing.
In order to prevent a risk of explosion, you should not place the device in a room
that may contain explosive gasses.
These instructions are intended for the MAXVAC Dustblocker 700.
When removing the packaging, please check whether the Dustblocker 700
has been damaged during transport.

OPERATION
Switch the unit to the off position (O) before removing the plug from the socket.
If the switch is on sparks may be generated between the socket and the
plug of the device.
Prior to performing maintenance, rst remove the plug from the socket in order
to prevent electrical shock.
When replacing the pre lter or hepalter it is possible that dust is dispersed
that can be dangerous for people’s health. Therefore, users should wear safety
glasses, safety gloves and a respiration mask that comply with protection class
FFP3.
Do not drill through or break open the H14 HEPA lter.
The operating panel is at the side of
the Dustblocker and is identical for all
models.
At the top of the operating panel you
will see from left to right:
Green switch (position I-O) (1)
Connect the plug to the socket on top of
the machine to start the device (2)
Red led lights if the H13/G4 lter has to
be replaced. (3)
And circuit breaker (3)

FILTERS AND FILTER
OPERATION
The Dustblocker 700 separates the dust in
three phases:
During the rst phase, the front lter is used. The lter collects the larger dust
particles and protects the Pre and H13/14 hepalter.
The second phase is a Pre Filter which collects the ner particles and protects the
H13/14 hepalter.
During the third phase, the H13/14 hepalter is used. This lter will collect the dust
that is dangerous for people’s health and that is not visible to the naked eye.
The front lter which sits behind the metal mesh needs to be replaced on a
regular basis according to the contamination of the air in the environment. This will
lengthen the life of the Pre Filter and H13/14 lter.
At the front of your Dustblocker you will see a Pre Filter. If the machine is used
daily we recommend changing it twice a year. Of course this depends on the
contaimination of the air in the environment. If you regularly replace your Pre Filter
you will lengthen the life of the hepalter.
It is simple to change the lter by
removing the two lock pins at the sides
and pull the lter out. At the top of the
Pre Filter you will nd a label with the
item number (Compare this number
with the number on the old lter).
Make sure that you place the lter as
indicated on the label : Airow

The H13 hepalter can be replaced by following the same procedure as above and
unscrew some black lter clamps.
If you use the machine daily we would recommend changing the hepalter once a
year. Of course, this depends on the contaimination of the air in the environment.
At the top of the hepalter you will nd a label with the item number (compare
this number with the number on the old lter). Make sure you place the lter as
indicated on the label : Airow
The DB700 is provided with a lter indicator connected to a warning led that
measures the pressure drop in the lter. In case of a pressure drop that is too high,
the red led will light up and the hepalter must be replaced. If the Dustblocker is
used while the warning led lights up, this could affect the operation of the device.
REPLACEMENT FILTERS
If the H13/14 hepalter is exposed to water, this may shorten or
end the lter’s life span.
pre-lters and H13/14 hepalters cannot be cleaned and must be
replaced if they are saturated.

WARRANTY
EU - DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
MAXVAC devices and accessories are supplied with a 24 month warranty on
material and manufacturing defects. Keep (the copy of) your receipt in order to be
able to submit the correct purchase date, if necessary.
Never try to repair the Dustblocker yourself without prior approval from the
manufacturer.
The warranty does not include defects that result from normal wear, negligence,
incorrect use, repairs without permission and defects caused by connecting
the Dustblocker to the wrong mains voltage.
Complies with machinery directive 89/392 plus annexes.
