• Lees deze gebruikershandleiding zorgvuldig door voordat u het apparaat gebruikt
en bewaar deze voor toekomstig gebruik. Installeer dit apparaat alleen als het
voldoet aan de lokale / nationale wetgeving, verordeningen en normen.
• De elektrische terrasverwarmer is ontworpen voor gebruik binnen en buiten, om
stralingswarmte te leveren die mensen en objecten verwarmt in plaats van de
lucht ertussenin. Het is gemonteerd op een verstelbare beugel waarmee de
warmte precies kan worden gericht waar het nodig is. Dankzij het aantrekkelijke,
lichtgewicht ontwerp is het effectief en toch onopvallend. Dit product is bedoeld
voor gebruik als verwarming in of rond woonhuizen onder normale huishoudelijke
omstandigheden en omgeving.
• Controleer na het uitpakken het apparaat op eventuele schade. Gebruik bij twijfel
het apparaat niet, maar neem contact op met de klantenservice van uw
plaatselijke dealer. Houdhet verpakkingsmateriaal (plastic zakken, enz.)uit de buurt
van kinderen, aangezien dit gevaarlijke situaties voor kinderen kan veroorzaken.
• Wijzigingen aan het veiligheidssysteem zijn niet toegestaan.
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN:
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing voordat u de terrasverwarmer gebruikt. De veiligheid van
deze kachel wordt alleen gegarandeerd door het juiste gebruik in overeenstemming
met deze instructies, daarom wordt aanbevolen dat ze worden bewaard voor
toekomstig gebruik.
• Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het worden vervangen door de fabrikant of
diens serviceagent of een persoon met vergelijkbare om gevaar te
voorkomen.
• WAARSCHUWING! Dek de terrasverwarmer niet af om oververhitting te voorkomen.
WAARSCHUWING: niet afdekken.
• Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar moeten uit de buurt worden gehouden, tenzij ze
voortdurend onder toezicht staan.
• Kinderen vanaf 3 jaar en jonger dan 8 jaar mogen het apparaat alleen aan /
uitzetten, mits het is geplaatst of geïnstalleerd in de beoogde normale bedrijfsstand
en ze supervisie of instructies hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het apparaat
op een veilige manier en de gevaren ervan begrijpen. Kinderen van 3 jaar en
jonger dan 8 jaar mogen het apparaat niet aansluiten, regelen en reinigen of
een gebruikersonderhoud uitvoeren.
• LET OP! Sommige onderdelen van dit product kunnen erg heet worden en
brandwonden veroorzaken. Er moet bijzondere aandacht worden besteed aan
de aanwezigheid van kinderen en kwetsbare mensen.
• Gebruik deze terrasverwarmer niet met een programmeur, timer, apart
afstandsbedieningssysteem of een ander apparaat dat de terrasverwarmer
automatisch inschakelt, aangezien er brandgevaar bestaat als de kachel
afgedekt of verkeerd geplaatst is.

• Gebruik de terrasverwarmer niet in de directe omgeving van een bad, een douche
of een zwembad.
• WAARSCHUWING! Deze terrasverwarmer is niet uitgerust met een apparaat om de
kamertemperatuur te regelen. Gebruik het apparaat niet in kleine kamers wanneer
ze worden bewoond door personen die niet in staat zijn om de kamer alleen te
verlaten, tenzij constant toezicht wordt geboden.
DE VERWARMING MONTEREN
De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor enige schade of schade als er geen
aandacht wordt besteed aan de hierboven beschreven punten. Het gebruik van
dit product en de daarvoor benodigde elementen is geheel voor eigen risico van
de eindgebruiker.
INSTALLATIE
• Monteer het apparaat alleen op een stevige ondergrond. Bij twijfels laten nakijken
door een deskundige.
• Bevestig de kettingen aan de kachel en aan de plafondgemonteerde onderdelen.
• Uw kachel is nu klaar voor gebruik.
WAARSCHUWING! Het apparaat moet worden aangesloten op een geaard
stopcontact.
Het apparaat is voorzien van een voedingskabel en een gegoten stekker, daarom
mogen de klemmen niet worden gestoord. Bij het plaatsen van de kachel moet met
de volgende punten rekening worden gehouden:

VOORZICHTIGHEID
Raak de lamp niet met blote handen aan. Vingerafdrukken verwijderen met een
zachte doek en spiritus of alcohol. Vingerafdrukken branden in kwarts en veroorzaken
vroegtijdig lampfalen.
De buitenmantel kan hoge temperaturen bereiken.
GEBRUIK
1. Controleer voor gebruik of het apparaat niet beschadigd is, op de juiste manier
geïnstalleerd is, er geen belemmeringen of obstakels in de buurt zich bevinden en
zorg dat de stroom van het stopcontact correct is (220-240V / 50-60Hz) en het
geaard is .
2. Als alles in orde is, steek dan de stekker in het stopcontact.
3. Installeer 2 x 1,5 V (AAA) batterijen in de afstandsbediening.
4. Zet de stroomschakelaar in de AAN-positie.
5. Selecteer de juiste kracht.
6. Druk op de OFF-knop op de afstandsbediening om de verwarming uit te
schakelen.
7. Druk op de hoofdschakelaar van het apparaat op de OFF-regeling.
8. Haal het netsnoer uit het stopcontact nadat u het product hebt uitgeschakeld.
Als u de kachel voor het eerst gebruikt, moet u deze de eerste 10-15 minuten
observeren in geval van storing.
VERWIJDERING VAN AFGEDANKTE ELEKTRISCHE EN ELEKTRONISCHE APPARATUUR
Dit symbool op het product of op de verpakking geeft aan dat dit product niet mag worden
weggegooid met het normale huisvuil. De gescheiden inzameling en recycling van uw afgedank-
te elektrische apparatuur op het moment van verwijdering zal helpen om natuurlijke hulpbronnen
te behouden en ervoor te zorgen dat het wordt gerecycled op een manier die de menselijke

[EN] DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• Read this user manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future
reference. Install this device only when it complies with local/national legislation,
ordinances and standards.
• The electric patio heater is designed for indoor and outdoor use, to provide
radiant heat which warms people and objects rather than the air in between.
It is mounted on an adjustable bracket that allows the heat to be directed
exactly where it is required. Its attractive, lightweight design means that it is
effective yet unobtrusive. This product is intended to be used as heater in or
around residential houses in normal household conditions and environment.
• After unpacking, check the appliance for any damages. When in doubt, do not
use the appliance, but contact customer service at your local dealer’s. Keep the
packaging materials (plastic bags, etc.) away from children, as they may cause
hazardous situations to children.
• No

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
Read the Directions for Use before using the Heater. The safety of this heater is
guaranteed only by its correct usage in accordance with these instructions, therefore
it is recommended that they are retained for future reference.

service agent or a similarly person in order to avoid a hazard.
• WARNING! In order to avoid overheating do not cover the heater

or another device that switches the heater on automatically, since a risk exists
if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.

• WARNING! This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room
temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by
persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is
provided.
ASSEMBLING THE HEATER
The manufacturer is not responsible for any harm or damage if attention is not paid to
the points described above. The use of this product and the elements required for that
purpose is entirely at the end user’s own risk.
INSTALLATION
• Make sure to mount the appliance only on a and sturdy underground.
In case of doubt have underground checked by an expert.
• Attach the chains to the heater and to the ceiling mounted parts.
• Your heater is now ready for use.
WARNING! This appliance must be connected to an earthed power socket.
The heater is with a supply cable and molded plug, therefore the terminals
should not be interfered with. The following points should be considered when
positioning the heater:

CAUTION
Do not handle lamp with bare hands. Remove marks with a soft cloth and
methylated spirits or alcohol. Finger marks will burn into quartz causing premature
lamp failure.
Rio outer casing can reach high temperatures.
USAGE
1. Before use, make sure that the appliance is not damaged, it is properly installed,
in its heating readius there are no obstructions and that the current of the power
socket is correct (220-240V/50-60Hz) and that is grounded.
2. If everything is ok, insert the plug into the power socket.
3. Install 2 x 1.5V (AAA) batteries into the remote control.
4. Turn the power switch to the ON position.
5. Select the approriate power.
6. To turn off the heater, press the OFF button on the remote control.
7. Press the power switch of the appliance to the OFF control.
8. Take the power cord out of the socket after turn off the product.
If you use the heater for the time, observe it for the 10-15 minutes in case of
interference.
