SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The heater must be connected to an earthed socket.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Place the heating fan on a level and stable surface. The appliance must not lean or
be turned upside down.
5. Please note that the heating fan gets very hot during use and therefore it must be
positioned on a safe distance from inflammable objects such as furniture, curtains
or similar.
6. The heater must not be covered due to the risk of fire.
7. Do not position the heater immediately below a wall socket.
8. The heating fan has to be protected from dust and humidity. Do not use the
appliance outdoors in rainy weather.
9. Do not connect the heating fan to a timer or similar unit which can turn on the
appliance automatically.
10. Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where
flammable fumes may be present.
11. If the cable has to be extended, use an extension cord which is as short as possible
and in the correct dimension.
12. The appliance must not be used near a bath tub, shower or pool.
13. Do not place the heating fan on a vehicle that moves to prevent it from
falling over.
14. Do not connect other appliances to the same wall socket as the heating fan is
connected to.
15. Do not use the heater if the power cord or plug is damaged. If the power cord is
damaged it must be replaced by an authorised service agent or other qualified
person, ask the retailer for advice.
16. Always turn off the heating fan and disconnect it from the mains before any kind
of maintenance.
OPERATION
1. Place the heating fan upright on a level surface and at a safe distance from flam-
mable objects.
2. Plug the heating fan to the wall socket.
3. Turn the temperature dial (2) to the MAX position and turn the function selector
(1) to full power (9000W). When the room has reached the desired temperature,
turn the temperature dial anti-clockwise until the thermostat is heard to click off.
The thermostat will now turn on and off the automatically to adjust the room tem-
perature to the set value.
