Gebrauchsanweisung
Vor der Anwendung die Gebrauchsanweisung lesen.
Ihr Caya® Diaphragma ist ein sicheres Verhütungsmittel,
das einfach anzuwenden ist. Es wird immer in Kombination
mit einem Verhütungsgel (z.B. Caya® Gel) verwendet. Es ist
der weiblichen Anatomie entsprechend geformt. Diese Form
und Größe wurde wissenschaftlich ermittelt und passt den
meisten Frauen.
So sieht Ihr Caya® Diaphragma aus:
– Silikonmembran: bedeckt den Muttermund damit keine
Spermien in die Gebärmutter gelangen.
– Mittelpunkt: fühlbarer Mittelpunkt zur besseren Platzierung
des Diaphragmas.
– Grinoppen: erleichtern das Einführen in die Scheide.
– Rand: exibel, gewährleistet die richtige Positionierung
– Grimulde: zum Herausnehmen aus der Scheide
Wo liegt das Caya® Diaphragma
in der Scheide?
Es bedeckt den Muttermund vollständig im oberen Scheiden-
gewölbe.

Vor der ersten Anwendung:
– Falls möglich schauen Sie sich die DVD oder das Video
im Internet unter www.caya.eu an
– Tasten Sie Ihren Muttermund – er fühlt sich an wie Ihre
Nasenspitze
– Tasten Sie auch nach Ihrem Schambein (in der Scheide)
So lege ich das Caya® Diaphragma ein:
HINWEIS: Führen Sie das Caya® Diaphragma unmittelbar
vor dem Geschlechtsverkehr ein.
1. Nehmen Sie das Caya® Diaphragma aus der Dose. Vor der
ersten Anwendung: Bitte mit Wasser und Seife reinigen.
2. Geben Sie das Verhütungsgel, z.B. Caya® Gel, in die Mitte
der Membran (ca. 4 ml).
Zusätzlich etwas Gel auf dem Rand erleichtert das Einführen.
Falten Sie es an den Grinoppen zusammen.

3. Wählen Sie eine bequeme Körperposition: liegend, in der
Hocke oder ein Bein hoch gestellt.
4. Halten Sie das Caya® Diaphragma mit einer Hand. Legen Sie
dabei Daumen und Zeigenger auf die Grinoppen am Rand.
Der Pfeil zeigt in Richtung Ihres Körpers.
5. Mit der freien Hand önen Sie die Schamlippen. Führen Sie
das Diaphragma entlang der hinteren Scheidenwand so tief
wie möglich in die Scheide ein (ähnlich wie bei einem
Tampon).
6. Nun kontrollieren Sie mit einem Finger, ob Ihr Muttermund
von der Membran des Caya® Diaphragmas bedeckt ist.
Der Muttermund muss vollständig bedeckt sein. Sie sollten
ihn durch die Membran hindurch ertasten können. Er fühlt
sich ähnlich an wie Ihre Nasenspitze.
Falls Sie den Muttermund nicht ertastet haben oder das
Caya® nicht spüren: Nehmen Sie es nochmal heraus und
führen Sie es erneut ein.
Caya® sitzt korrekt, wenn der Muttermund vollständig vom
Diaphragma bedeckt ist und zwischen dem hinteren
Scheidengewölbe und der Nische am Schambein liegt.
Wenn Sie beides kontrolliert haben und das Caya®
Diaphragma richtig sitzt, sind Sie sicher geschützt. Nun
können Sie Geschlechtsverkehr haben.

7. Nach dem Geschlechtsverkehr muss das Caya® Diaphragma
mindestens 6 Stunden in der Scheide bleiben.
HINWEIS: Das Caya® Diaphragma sollte niemals länger als
24 Stunden ununterbrochen in der Scheide liegen, da das
längere, ununterbrochene Tragen das Wachstum von Bakterien
in der Scheide begünstigen kann. Diese Bakterien könnten
dann zum einem Toxic Schock Syndrom (TSS) führen.
Bei wiederholtem Geschlechtsverkehr sollte zusätzlich Gel
vor das liegende Caya® Diaphragma gebracht werden, ohne
dieses zuvor zu entfernen.
8. Zum Herausnehmen fassen Sie mit einem Finger in
die Scheide und ziehen das Caya® Diaphragma an
der Grimulde heraus.
9. Reinigung und Pege des Caya® Diaphragmas:
Nach dem Entfernen waschen Sie es mit Wasser und Seife
und lassen es an der Luft trocknen. Bewahren Sie das Caya®
Diaphragma in der beiliegenden Dose auf.
Nach Behandlung einer vaginalen Infektion sollte das Caya®
Diaphragma durch ein Neues ersetzt werden.
Das Caya® Diaphragma ist wiederverwendbar. Sie können es
nach der ersten Anwendung zwei Jahre lang benutzen.
10. Kontrollieren Sie vor jeder Anwendung Ihr Caya®
Diaphragma, ob es noch in Ordnung ist.
Das Caya® Diaphragma bietet in Kombination mit einem
Verhütungsgel einen sicheren Schutz vor unerwünschter
Schwangerschaft. Kein Verhütungsmittel kann jedoch 100%ige
Sicherheit vor unerwünschter Schwangerschaft gewährleisten.
Caya® schützt nicht vor sexuell übertragbaren Infektionen.
HINWEIS: Bewahren Sie das Caya® Diaphragma immer
außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

Beim Benutzen nie vergessen:
– Immer in Kombination mit einem
Verhütungsgel verwenden.
– Nachtasten am Muttermund, ob dieser
vom Caya® Diaphragma bedeckt ist.
– Mindestens 6 Stunden nach dem
letzten Verkehr in der Scheide lassen.
– Niemals länger als 24 Stunden un-
unterbrochen in der Scheide lassen.
Kontraindikation
– Anwendung in den ersten 6 Wochen
nach Entbindung/Geburt.
– Wenn beim herkömmlichen
Diaphragma 60 mm oder 85 mm
und größer benutzt wurde.
– bei starker Senkung des Beckenbodens/
Gebärmuttersenkung (Prolaps)

Kein Verhütungsmittel kann 100%ige
Sicherheit vor unerwünschter
Schwangerschaft gewährleisten. Das
Caya® Diaphragma ist so sicher wie ein
klassisches Diaphragma. Je häuger Sie
das Caya® Diaphragma verwenden, umso
sicherer werden Sie im Umgang mit
diesem Verhütungsmittel.
Woher weiß ich, dass Caya® richtig
eingesetzt ist und passt?
Ertasten sie mit Ihrem längsten Finger
(meist der Mittelnger) die richtige
Position des Diaphragmas: überprüfen
Sie, ob die Membran den Muttermund
bedeckt und ob die Grimulde richtig
hinter Ihrem Schambein liegt. Ist beides
der Fall, sind Sie sicher geschützt.
Wie lange kann ich das Caya®
Diaphragma benutzen?
Das Caya® Diaphragma sollte nach der
ersten Anwendung nicht länger als
2 Jahre benutzt werden.
Weshalb muss das Caya® Diaphragma
6 Stunden nach dem Geschlechtsver-
kehr in der Scheide bleiben?
Spermien sind nach dieser Zeit nicht
mehr aktiv. Diese 6 Stunden sind zu
Ihrer Sicherheit, um nicht ungewollt
schwanger zu werden.

Weshalb sollte ich Caya® nicht länger
als 24 Stunden ohne Unterbrechung
benutzen?
Die längere und ununterbrochene
Anwendung des Caya® Diaphragmas
über 24 Stunden hinaus kann das
Wachstum von Bakterien in der Scheide
begünstigen. Diese Bakterien könnten
zum Toxischen Schock Syndrom (TSS)
führen.
Kann ich mit dem Caya® Diaphragma
mehrmals hintereinander Geschlechts-
verkehr haben?
Ja, Ihr Caya® bleibt in Position liegen,
aber Sie sollten mit Hilfe eines Applika-
tors zusätzliches Verhütungsgel vor das
liegende Caya® bringen.
Kann das Caya® Diaphragma
auch während der Menstruation
verwendet werden?
Im Prinzip ist das möglich.
Wie muss ich mich bei einer vaginalen
Infektion verhalten?
Bei einer vaginalen Infektion (z.B. Pilze)
wenden Sie sich zur Behandlung an
Ihre(n) Arzt/Ärztin. Nehmen Sie in der
Zeit der Behandlung Kondome und KEIN
Diaphragma.
Nach Abschluss der Behandlung sollten
Sie das Caya® Diaphragma durch ein
Neues ersetzen.
Kann ich Gleitmittel zusammen mit
Caya® Diaphragma benutzen?
Ja, es sollten allerdings NUR wasser-
lösliche Gleitgele verwendet werden.
KEINE silikonölhaltigen Gleitgele in
Kombination mit dem Caya® Dia-
phragma verwenden!!! Es gibt keine
Untersuchungen zur Verträglichkeit der
kontrazeptiven Gele mit handelsüblichen
Gleitmitteln. Eventuelle Einschränkungen
der Wirksamkeit der kontrazeptiven
Gele können somit nicht ausgeschlossen
werden. Sie können alternativ das Caya®
Gel als Gleitmittel verwenden. Es besteht
aus Milchsäure und Zellulose und ist frei
von Parabenen.
Könnte der Partner das Caya®
Diaphragma spüren?
Das ist sehr unwahrscheinlich. In selte-
nen Fällen könnte er möglicherweise den
Rand des Diaphragmas spüren.
Hat das Caya® Diaphragma einen
Einuss auf mein sexuelles Empnden?
Anwenderinnen berichten von einer
verbesserten Libido im Vergleich zur
hormonellen Verhütung.
Was soll ich tun, wenn Caya® während
des Geschlechtsverkehrs Schmerzen
verursacht?
Überprüfen Sie zunächst die richtige
Lage von Caya® mit dem Finger. Falls das
Caya® Diaphragma weiterhin Schmerzen
verursacht, suchen Sie Ihre Ärztin oder
Ihren Arzt auf.
Kann Caya® brechen oder reißen?
Es ist kein Fall bekannt, bei dem ein
Caya® Diaphragma beim Sex beschädigt
wurde.
Wie kann ich bei der Anwendung des
Caya® Diaphragmas die Sicherheit
positiv beeinussen?
Wichtig ist die regelmäßige Anwendung
des Diaphragmas und die Verwendung
eines Verhütungsgels (z.B. Caya® Gel).
Zudem sollte das Diaphragma stets vor
und nicht während des Geschlechtsver-
kehrs eingeführt werden.
Kann das Caya® Diaphragma aus-
gekocht oder desinziert werden?
Es reicht aus, das Caya® nach dem
Gebraucht mit einer Wasser und Seife zu
reinigen. Die Verwendung von Desinfekti-
onsmitteln ist nicht erforderlich und
auch nicht zu empfehlen. Ein Auskochen
ist grundsätzlich möglich. Nach einer
vaginalen Infektion sollte das Caya®
Diaphragma durch ein Neues ersetzt
werden.

Read the instructions for use before using the Caya®
diaphragm.
Your Caya® diaphragm is a safe and easy-to-use contraceptive
method. Always use Caya® in combination with a contraceptive
gel (e. g. Caya® Gel). It is shaped to t female anatomy. This
shape and size were determined scientically and t most
women.
Your Caya® diaphragm looks like this:
– Silicone membrane: covers the cervix to prevent sperm from
reaching the uterus.
- Center point: palpable center point for better
positioning of the diaphragm.
– Grip dimples: to facilitate vaginal insertion.
– Flexible rim: to ensure correct position.
– Removal dome: for removal out of the vagina.
What is the position of the Caya®
diaphragm in the vagina?
It completely covers the cervix in the upper vault of the vagina.

The Caya® diaphragm prevents sperm from reaching the uterus
both during and after sexual intercourse.
NOTE: Please always use the diaphragm together with a
contraceptive gel (e. g. Caya® Gel).
Before using the diaphragm for the rst time, practise inserting

Before using Caya® the rst time:
– If possible, watch the DVD or the animation on
the internet at www.caya.eu
– Find the cervix – it feels like the tip of your nose
– Also nd your pubic bone (in the vagina)
How to insert the Caya® diaphragm:
NOTE: insert the Caya® diaphragm immediately before sexual
intercourse.
1. Remove the Caya® diaphragm from the case. Before using
it for the rst time: please wash the diaphragm with soap
and water.
2. Apply the contraceptive gel, e.g. Caya® Gel, onto the middle
of the membrane (approx. 4 ml).
Also applying some gel around the edges makes the
diaphragm easier to insert.
Fold together using the grip dimples.

3. Find a comfortable position: lying down, kneeling down or
with one leg elevated.
4. Hold the Caya® diaphragm with one hand. Place the thumb
and index nger on the grip dimples along the rim.
The arrow has to point towards your body.
5. Using your free hand, spread the labia. Push Caya® deeply
along the posterior vaginal wall, towards your back, until the
cervix rests inside the cup.
6. Use a nger to verify that the cervix is covered by the
membrane of the Caya® diaphragm. The cervix must be
completely covered. You should be able to feel it through
the membrane. It feels similar to the tip of your nose.
If you cannot feel the cervix or the Caya®: Remove the
diaphragm and try inserting it again.
Caya® is correctly positioned when the cervix is completely
covered by the diaphragm and is between the posterior
vaginal walls and the recess on the pubic bone.
If you have veried both of the above and the diaphragm is
in the correct position, safe contraception is ensured. You are
now ready for intercourse.

7. After intercourse, the Caya® diaphragm must remain in the
vagina for at least 6 hours.
NOTE:The Caya® diaphragm should never be left in the
vagina for longer than 24 hours without interruption, as
wearing it for longer and uninterrupted periods of time can
promote bacterial growth inside the vagina. These bacteria
can then lead to Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS).
In the event of repeated sexual intercourse, extra gel should
be applied in front of the Caya® diaphragm without
removing it beforehand.
8. To remove the diaphragm, insert one nger into the vagina
and pull out the Caya® diaphragm using the removal dome.
9. Cleaning and care of the Caya® diaphragm:
After removing the diaphragm, clean it with water and soap
and allow it to air-dry naturally. Store the Caya® diaphragm
in the original case.
After treatment of a vaginal infection, the Caya® diaphragm
should be replaced with a new one.
The Caya® diaphragm is reusable. After the rst use you can
use it for two years.
10. Check your Caya® diaphragm before you use it every time
to make sure it is still ok.
When used in combination with a contraceptive gel, the Caya®
diaphragm oers safe protection from unwanted pregnancy.
However, no contraceptive method can guarantee 100% safety
from unwanted pregnancy. Caya® does not oer protection
against sexually transmitted infections.
NOTE: Always keep the Caya® diaphragm in the original
case and out of the reach of children.

When using, never forget:
– Always use together with a contracep-
tive gel.
– Check position by feeling whether
the cervix us covered by the Caya®
diaphragm.
– After intercourse, leave in the vagina
for at least 6 hours.
– Never leave in the vagina for longer
than 24 hours without interruption.
Contraindication
– Use within the rst 6 weeks after
delivery/birth.
– If a conventional diaphragm with a
size of 60 mm or 85 mm or larger has
been previously used.
– In the event of severe pelvic oor
prolapse/uterus prolapse.
Ask your healthcare
provider, if:
– If you have diculty getting the Caya®
diaphragm to t in your body comfort-
ably (rare).
– You use treatments for vaginal
infections (rare)
– You have had lower abdominal/vaginal
surgery (very rare).
– You have ever had a Toxic Shock
Syndrome (very rare).
– If you have any further, personal
medical questions.
NOTE: If you have forgotten to use
the Caya® diaphragm and have had
unprotected sexual intercourse, please
contact your doctor immediately to
discuss emergency contraception.

FAQs
How safe is the Caya® diaphragm?
No contraceptive method can guarantee
100% safety from unwanted pregnancy.
The Caya® diaphragm is just as safe as
the classic diaphragm. The more often
you use the Caya® diaphragm, the more
condent you will become in using this
contraceptive method and the more
safety this method will oer you.
How do I know that Caya® is inserted
correctly and ts?
Use your longest nger (usually the
middle nger) to verify the correct posi-
tion of the diaphragm: check whether
the cup covers cervix and the removal
dome is located securely behind your
pubic bone. If this is the case you are
well protected.
For how long can I use the Caya®
diaphragm?
After the rst use, the Caya® diaphragm
should not be used for a period longer
than 2 years.
Why does the Caya® diaphragm have
to remain in the vagina for 6 hours
after intercourse?
Sperm cells are no longer active after
this period. These 6 hours are for your
own safety and to prevent an unwanted
pregnancy.
Why should Caya® not be worn
for longer than 24 hours without
interruption?
Wearing the Caya® diaphragm for longer
than 24 hours without interruption can
promote bacterial growth inside the
vagina. These bacteria could lead to
Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS).

Can I have repeated consecutive inter-
course with the Caya® diaphragm?
Yes, your Caya® remains in position, but
you should apply extra contraceptive gel
with the aid of an applicator to the area
in front of the Caya®.
Can the Caya® diaphragm also be used
during menstruation?
The use of the diaphragm is possible.
What do I have to observe in case of a
vaginal infection?
Please visit your doctor for treatment in
case of a vaginal infection (e.g. fungus).
Please use condoms during treatment
and NOT a diaphragm. After nishing
treatment, you should replace the Caya®
diaphragm with a new one.
Can I use lubricants together with the
Caya® diaphragm?
Yes, but ONLY water-soluble lubricant
gels should, however, be used. Do not use
ANY lubricant gels containing silicone
together with the Caya® diaphragm!!!
There are no studies on the tolerability of
contraceptive gels when used together
with commercial lubricants. Eventual
limitations in terms of the ecacy of
contraceptive gels cannot therefore be
ruled out. Alternatively, you may use
Caya® Gel as a lubricant. It is made
up of lactic acid and cellulose, and is
paraben-free.
Could my partner feel the Caya®
diaphragm?
This is highly unlikely. However, in rare
cases, your partner may feel the rim of
the diaphragm.
Does the Caya® diaphragm inuence
my sexual desire?
Users report an improved libido
compared to hormonal contraception.
What should I do if Caya® causes pain
during intercourse?
First verify the correct position of Caya®
using a nger. If the Caya® diaphragm
continues to cause pain, please visit
your doctor.
Can Caya® break or tear?
No case is known of a Caya® diaphragm
becoming damaged during sexual
intercourse.
How can I positively inuence safety
when using the Caya® diaphragm?
The regular use and the use of a contra-
ceptive gel (e.g. Caya® gel) are important
measures for ensuring safety. In addition,
the diaphragm should always be inserted
before and not during intercourse.
Can the Caya® diaphragm be boiled or
disinfected?
After use, the Caya® diaphragm need
only be cleaned with soap and water.
Disinfectants do not need to be used and
are not recommended. The Caya® dia-
phragm can, in principle, be boiled. After
a vaginal infection, the Caya® diaphragm
should be replaced with a new one.

Votre diaphragme Caya® est un dispositif médical contraceptif
able et facile à utiliser. Il est toujours utilisé en association
avec un gel contraceptif (gel Caya® par exemple). Sa forme
correspond à l’anatomie féminine. Cette forme et cette taille
ont été déterminées de manière scientique et conviennent à
la majorité des femmes.
Voici à quoi ressemble le diaphragme Caya® :
– Coupelle en silicone : recouvre le col de l’utérus an que les
spermatozoïdes ne parviennent pas dans l’utérus.
- Point central : point central perceptible pour mieux poser
le diaphragme.
– Picots d’accroche : facilitent l’introduction dans le vagin.
–Rebord : souple, il garantit un bon positionnement.
– Ergot de retrait : pour un retrait facile du vagin.
Où est situé le diaphragme Caya®
dans le vagin ?
Il recouvre entièrement le col de l’utérus dans la partie
supérieure du cul-de-sac vaginal.

Pendant et après le rapport sexuel, le diaphragme Caya®
empêche les spermatozoïdes d’atteindre l’utérus.
REMARQUE : Utilisez toujours le diaphragme avec un gel
contraceptif (par exemple le gel Caya®).

Avant la première utilisation :
– Si possible, regardez le DVD ou l’animation correspondante
sur Internet à l’adresse www.caya.eu
– Repérez le col de votre utérus ; au toucher, il ressemble à
l’extrémité du nez.
– Repérez également l’arrière du pubis (dans le vagin).
Le diaphragme Caya® s’introduit comme suit:
REMARQUE : introduisez le diaphragme Caya® directement
avant le rapport sexuel.
1. Sortez le diaphragme Caya® de la boîte. Avant la première
utilisation, lavez à l’eau et au savon.
2. Appliquez le gel contraceptif, par exemple Caya® Gel,
(env.4 ml) au milieu de la membrane.
Un peu de gel supplémentaire sur le bord facilite
l’introduction.
Pliez le diaphragme par les picots d’accroche.

3. Choisissez une position confortable: allongée, accroupie ou
debout avec une jambe levée.
4. Tenez le diaphragme Caya® dans une main, le pouce et
l’index posés sur les picots du rebord. La èche montre la
direction de votre corps.
5. De votre main libre, écartez les lèvres de la vulve.
Poussez le diaphragme le long de la paroi vaginale
postérieure aussi loin que possible.
6. Vériez à présent avec un doigt que le col de l’utérus
est recouvert par la coupelle du diaphragme Caya®.
Le col de l’utérus doit être entièrement recouvert. Vous
devriez pouvoir le palper à travers la membrane. Il donne
une impression semblable à celle du bout de votre nez.
Si vous n’avez pas réussi à repérer le col ou ne sentez pas le
diaphragme Caya®, retirez-le et introduisez-le de nouveau.
Caya® est bien positionné lorsque le diaphragme recouvre
entièrement le col de l’utérus et se situe entre la voûte

7. Après le rapport sexuel, le diaphragme Caya® doit rester
dans le vagin pendant au moins six heures.
REMARQUE : Le diaphragme Caya® ne doit jamais rester
dans le vagin plus de 24 heures sans interruption, car le port
prolongé et ininterrompu peut favoriser la croissance de
bactéries dans le vagin. Ces bactéries risquent alors d’entraîner
un syndrome de choc toxique (SCT).
En cas de rapport sexuel répété, du gel supplémentaire doit
être appliqué à l’avant du diaphragme Caya® déjà en place,
sans retirer celui-ci au préalable.
8. Pour sortir le diaphragme Caya®, introduisez un doigt dans
le vagin et tirez sur l’encoche de retrait.
9. Nettoyage et entretien du diaphragme Caya® :
Après le retrait, nettoyez-le à l’eau et au savon, puis laissez-
le sécher à l’air libre. Conservez le diaphragme Caya® dans la
boîte de rangement.
Après le traitement d’une infection vaginale, le diaphragme
Caya® doit être remplacé par un nouveau.
Le diaphragme Caya® est réutilisable. Vous pouvez l’utiliser
pendant deux ans, à compter de la date de la première
utilisation.
10. Avant chaque utilisation, vériez que le diaphragme Caya®
est encore en bon état.
En association avec un gel contraceptif, le diaphragme Caya®
ore une protection able contre les grossesses non désirées.
Cependant, aucun moyen de contraception ne garantit une
protection à 100% contre la grossesse non désirée. Caya® ne
protège pas des infections sexuellement transmissibles.
REMARQUE : Conservez toujours le diaphragme Caya®
hors de la portée des enfants.

Avant l’utilisation, ne jamais
oublier ce qui suit :
– Toujours utiliser en combinaison avec
un gel contraceptif.
– Vérier au toucher que le col de
l’utérus est recouvert par le
diaphragme Caya®.
– Laisser dans le vagin au moins 6 heures
après le dernier rapport sexuel.
– Ne jamais laisser dans le vagin pendant
plus de 24 heures sans interruption.
Contre-indications
– Utilisation dans les six premières
semaines après l’accouchement
(la naissance).
– Si un diaphragme traditionnel de
60mm ou de 85mm et plus a été
utilisé.
– En cas de descente importante des
organes pelviens/de l’utérus (prolapsus)
Demandez conseil à votre
médecin/sage-femme dans

– Vous n’êtes pas sûre que le diaphragme
Caya® est bien positionné chez vous
(rare).
– Vous utilisez des traitements par
voie vaginale (rare).
– Vous avez subi une opération de
l’abdomen ou du vagin (très rare).
– Vous avez déjà eu un syndrome de
choc toxique (très rare).
– Si vous avez d’autres questions d’ordre
médical.
REMARQUE : Si vous avez oublié de
poser le diaphragme Caya® et que vous
avez donc eu des rapports sexuels non
protégés, contactez immédiatement
votre médecin pour discuter de la prise

du diaphragme : vériez que la coupelle
recouvre le col de l’utérus et que
l’encoche de retrait est bien située
derrière le pubis. Si tel est le cas, vous
êtes très bien protégée.
Combien de temps puis-je utiliser le
diaphragme Caya® ?
Le diaphragme Caya® ne doit pas être
utilisé plus de deux ans après la première
utilisation.
Pourquoi le diaphragme Caya® doit-il
rester dans le vagin pendant six heures
après le rapport sexuel ?
Passé ce délai, les spermatozoïdes ne sont
plus actifs. Ces six heures visent à garan-
tir que vous ne tomberez pas enceinte.

Pourquoi ne dois-je pas utiliser
Caya® pendant plus de 24 heures
sans interruption ?
L’utilisation prolongée et ininterrompue
du diaphragme Caya® pendant plus de
24 heures peut favoriser la croissance de
bactéries dans le vagin.
Ces bactéries peuvent causer le
syndrome du choc toxique (SCT).
Puis-je avoir des rapports sexuels suc-
cessifs avec le diaphragme Caya® ?
Oui, votre diaphragme Caya® reste
en position, mais vous devez en plus

utilisé également pendant les règles ?
En principe, cela est possible.
Que dois-je faire en cas d’infection
vaginale ?
En cas d’infection vaginale (mycose par
exemple), adressez-vous à votre médecin
pour vous faire soigner. Pendant la durée
du traitement, utilisez des préservatifs et
NE METTEZ PAS de diaphragme. A la n
du traitement, vous devez remplacer le
diaphragme Caya® par un nouveau.
Puis-je utiliser un lubriant avec le
diaphragme Caya® ?
Oui, mais SEULS les gels lubriants
solubles dans l’eau doivent être utilisés.
NE PAS utiliser de gels lubriants à
base de silicone en combinaison avec
le diaphragme Caya®!!! Aucune étude
n’a été menée sur la compatibilité des
gels contraceptifs avec les lubriants
disponibles dans le commerce. Ainsi,
une éventuelle diminution de l’ecacité
des gels contraceptifs ne peut pas être
exclue. Mais vous pouvez utiliser le gel
Caya® comme lubriant. Il est composé
d’acide lactique et de cellulose et ne
contient pas de parabène.
Le diaphragme Caya® aectera-t-il la
qualité de ma vie intime ?
Les utilisatrices ont signalé une amélio-
ration de la libido en comparaison avec
la contraception hormonale.
Que dois-je faire si Caya® entraîne
des douleurs lors du rapport sexuel ?
Avec votre doigt, vériez tout d’abord
le bon positionnement de Caya®. Si la
douleur persiste lors de l’utilisation du
diaphragme Caya®, consultez votre
médecin.
Caya® peut-il se casser ou se
déchirer ?
Aucun cas de détérioration du
diaphragme Caya® pendant les relations
sexuelles n’a été rapporté.
Comment puis-je renforcer la protec-
tion oerte par le diaphragme Caya® ?
L’utilisation régulière du diaphragme
et l’application systématique de gel
contraceptif sont primordiales. En outre,
le diaphragme doit toujours être inséré
avant et non pendant le rapport sexuel.
Peut-on faire bouillir ou désinfecter le
diaphragme Caya® ?
Le nettoyage du diaphragme Caya® à
l’eau et au savon après l’utilisation est
susant. L’utilisation d’un désinfectant
n’est pas nécessaire et n’est également
pas recommandé. Il est en principe
possible de faire bouillir le diaphragme.
Après le traitement d’une infection
vaginale, le diaphragme Caya® doit être
remplacé par un nouveau.

Il suo diaframma Caya® è un dispositivo anticoncezionale sicu-
ro di facile impiego. Deve essere sempre usato in associazione a
un gel contraccettivo (ad es. Caya® Gel). La sua forma, studiata
con metodi scientici, corrisponde all’anatomia femminile e il
dispositivo è adatto, per forma e dimensioni, alla maggior parte
delle donne.
Il suo diaframma Caya® è composto da:
– Membrana di silicone: copre il collo dell’utero per impedire
il passaggio degli spermatozoi nell’utero.
- Punto centrale: punto centrale palpabile per un migliore
posizionamento del diaframma.
– Nodi per l’impugnatura: facilitano l’inserimento in vagina.
– Bordo: essibile, garantisce il posizionamento corretto.
