Powerontheheadphones.PressandholdtheMultifunctionbuttonforabout5secondsuntilyouhear
theheadsetsay“ReadytoPair”andthelightflashesredandblue.
Note:theheadphoneswillenterpairingmodeautomaticallyonfirstuseorafterareset

Reconnectingtopaireddevices
TheMatrixCinemastorespreviouslypaireddevicesandreconnectsautomaticallywiththelastpaired
Bluetoothdevicethatispoweredonandwithinrange.Iftheheadsetdoesnotconnectautomatically,
opentheBluetoothmenuonyourdeviceandselect“MEEaudioMatrixCinema”fromtheBluetooth
devicelist.

Multipoint
MultipointisanoptionalfeaturewhichallowstwoBluetoothdevicestobeconnectedtotheMatrix
Cinemasimultaneously.ItisONbydefault.
ToturnonMultipoint,firstputtheMatrixCinemaheadphonesinstandbymode(headphonesare
poweredonbutnotconnectedtoanydevice).Toenterstandbymode,turnofftheBluetoothfunctions
onallnearbydevicesthathavebeenpreviouslypairedwiththeMatrixCinemaandthenpoweronthe
headphones.Instandbymode,thebluestatusindicatorlightwillblinkeverysecond.
Disablemultipoint:Instandbymode,pressandholdtheVolumeupandVolumedownbuttonsfor5
seconds

Multipointpairing
TousetwoBluetoothdeviceswiththeMatrixCinema,firstpaireachonebyfollowingthepairing
proceduredescribedintheBluetoothPairingsectionandthenpowertheheadsetoff.Whenpowered
onagain,theheadsetwillconnecttothe2mostrecently‐paireddevices,aslongastheyhaveBluetooth
enabledandarewithinrange.Ifadevicethathasalreadybeenpaireddoesnotconnectautomatically,
select“MEEaudioMatrixCinema”fromtheBluetoothmenuofthedevice.
Multipointfunctionality
Toswitchbetweenthetwoconnecteddevices,pauseaudioplaybackontheactivedeviceandstart
audioplaybackontheotherconnecteddevice.Itmaytakeupto30secondsfortheaudiotoswitch.
Incomingcallswillalwaystakeprecedenceovermedia.TheMatrixCinemawillautomaticallyactivate
theconnecteddevicethathasanincomingcall.
DisablingAudioPrompts
VoicepromptsandotheraudiblenotificationsoftheMatrixCinemacanbedisabled.Toturnoffaudio
promptsonoroff,theMatrixCinemaneedstobeinstandbymode(seetheMultipointsection).
EnableAudioPrompts:Instandbymode,pressandholdtheVolumedownbuttonfor5seconds.
DisableAudioPrompts:Instandbymode,pressandholdtheVolumedownbuttonfor5seconds.

Useaswiredheadphone
TheMatrixCinemacanbeusedasawiredheadphonewiththeincluded3.5mmstereoaudiocable.This
allowsusewhenthebatteryisdepletedandwithdevicesthatdonothaveBluetooth(suchin‐flight
entertainmentsystems)oraren’tpaired.
Note:themicrophone,remotecontrols,andCinemaEARaudioenhancementfunctonalityoftheMatrix
Cinemawillnotworkwhentheheadphonesareusedinwiredmode.
Troubleshooting
Clearmemory(deletepaireddevices)
ThiscanbeusedtodeleteallpreviousBluetoothpairingsfrommemory.BeforetheMatrixCinemacan
beusedagain,anewpairingwillneedtobecreated.
Clearmemory:instandbymode,pressandholdtheMultifunctionandVolumedownbuttonsatthe
sametimefor5seconds
SeeMultipointsectionforhowtoenterstandbymode
FactoryReset
Afactoryresetcanbeusedtoreverttheheadphonetoitsfactorysettingsforlights,audioprompts,and
multipointfunctionality.Thisdoesnotdeleteanypairings.
Factoryreset:PressandholdtheMultifunctionandCinemaEARbuttonsfor5seconds.
Hardreboot
Ahardrebootcanbeusedonaheadphonethathasbecomeunresponsive.Thisdoesnotdeleteany
pairingsorresetanysettings.
Hardreboot:PressandholdtheMultifunctionandVolumeupbuttonsfor5seconds.Theheadphone
willshutoff.Slidethepowerswitchtotheoffpositionandthenbacktotheonpositiontocompletethe
reboot

*Cleanwithasoftcloth,dampwithdilutedsoapwatersolutionifnecessary.Donotusechemical
cleaners.
*Whennotinuse,powertheheadphonesoffandstoreintheincludedprotectivecarryingcase
*Batteryperformancewillbeseverelydecreasedwhenstoredinextremetemperatures:below‐
10°C/14°Forabove45°C/113°Fincludingdirectsunlight.
*Thelifetimeofthebatterywillbesignificantlyreducedifyourheadsetisnotchargedforalongtime.It
isrecommendedtochargeyourheadsetatleastonceamonth.
*Therearenouserreplaceable/reparablepartsintheheadset.Disassemblingitwillvoidyourwarranty.
*Ifthedevicecomesincontactwithliquids,quicklywipeaway.Ifsubmersedinwater,donotturnthe
deviceonuntilcompletelydried.Note:liquidsubmersionvoidsthewarranty.

damage.Itisadvisedyoukeepvolumelevelsmoderatetolowatalltimesforyoursafety.Turnthe
volumeallthewaydownafterconnectingyourearphones,thengraduallyincreasethevolumeuntilyou
reachacomfortablelisteninglevel.Donotusewhiledrivingacar,cycling,operatingmachinery,or
performingotheractivitiesthatrequirehearingsurroundingsounds.
