The remotely controlled socket set you have acquired consists of a hand-held
remote and three remotely operated sockets. Before first use of this product,
please read these operating instructions through carefully to ensure optimum
operation and performance. With this product, you can easily switch on and
off electrical and electronic devices (such as lamps, Christmas lights, radios
and TVs, etc.) from a distance of up to 30 m assuming there are no obstruc-
tions in the way. The maximum switching capacity per remotely controlled
socket is 1100 Watt.
Supplied in the set are:
• Three remotely controlled sockets
• One hand-held remote control
• Two type AAA 1.5V batteries
• Operating instructions
Safety information
• This product is designed to be used indoors in dry rooms only. Never use
outdoors or in unenclosed spaces.
• This product is designed for domestic use only. It may not be used in public
or medical buildings.
• Plug the remotely controlled sockets directly into wall mains sockets; do
not attach to extension cables.
• For operation, ensure that you use a correctly earthed wall mains socket.
• Never plug one remotely controlled socket into another.
• Do not plug a device into a remotely controlled socket that requires con-
stant monitoring (such as an electric iron) that can cause fires and other
damage.
• Repairs must be undertaken by appropriately authorised electricians only.
There is a risk of electric shock or short circuit on incorrect use.
• Wall mains sockets in which remotely controlled sockets are plugged must
be readily accessible. Unplug a remotely controlled socket from the wall
mains socket to disconnect it from the mains.
• Note that remotely controlled sockets are voltage-free only when un-
plugged from a wall mains socket.
• Protect the product against high temperatures and moisture. Do not cover
a remotely controlled socket during operation as there is a risk of over-
heating.
• Important: Keep all electrical devices and accessories out of the reach
of children!
• When inserting the batteries in the hand-held remote control, ensure pol-
ing is correct.
• If you will not be using the hand-held remote control for a longer period,
remove the batteries before storage.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If you transfer this prod-
uct to another person, please ensure you also supply these operating in-
structions.
Preparing for use:
Open the battery compartment of the remote control. Insert the 1.5 V AAA
batteries supplied in the remote control. Ensure poling is correct. Now replace
the battery compartment cover. If the batteries have been correctly inserted,
the control light will light up when each button is pressed.
The hand-held remote has four channels. These channels are used to control
the sockets. You can also choose to use one channel only to simultaneously
control more than one socket.
To program a socket
• Insert a remotely controlled socket in an installed wall mains socket and
select the channel you have chosen for operation.
• During the learning process, the remotely controlled socket will flash for
about 30 seconds.
• Note: unless a channel is selected during this time, selection mode will
automatically expire after 30 seconds.
• During these 30 seconds, press on the desired "on" setting to connect the
remote control with a socket. (Example: A "on", B "on", C "on" or D "on")
• When programming of remote and a socket has been successfully com-
pleted, the socket will cease to flash. The socket in question is now active.
To delete socket programming and select a different channel for oper-
ation
• Unplug the socket from the wall mains socket. Plug the socket into the in-
stalled wall mains socket you have now selected. The remotely controlled
socket will flash for 3 - 4 seconds.
• Now press the "off" button of the remote control; the previous program-
ming will be deleted. Now select the channel for operation of the remotely
controlled socket.
Press "on" buttons 1 - 4 to switch on all remotely controlled sockets; press
"off" buttons 1- 4 to switch off all remotely controlled sockets. It is also pos-
sible to control all channels using a single "on" and "off" button.
This remotely controlled socket set does not have a dimmer feature.
Note: To ensure optimal operation, do not switch connected devices on and
off in too rapid succession.
Disposal:
IMPORTANT! Do not dispose of waste electrical devices and batteries with
domestic waste. In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, waste electrical
and electronic equipment is to be separately collected and used for environ-
mentally-friendly recycling. Please bring any waste electrical devices to your
local collection point. Separate packaging material by type and dispose of in
accordance with local regulations. For more information, please contact your
local authority.
