•This appliance is intended for adult use. Ensurwe
that this product is not used by the disabled, chil-
dren or people not used to handling this type of ap-
pliance.
•This appliance should be stored out of reach of chil-
dren and/or the disabled.
•Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
•Do not store or transport the appliance while it is
still hot.
•Turning the thermostat control to the minimum
“MIN” setting does not mean that the appliance has
been switched off.
•Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for
use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s
liability null and void.
Instructions for use:
Before use:
•Make sure that all the product’s packaging has
been removed.
•Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the
manner described in the cleaning section.
Use:
•Connect the appliance to the wall socket.
•The pilot light (G) comes on.
•Close the upper housing.
•Select the desired cooking temperature, by using
the thermostat knob.
•Wait until the pilot light (F) comes on. This indicates
that the appliance has reached the selected tem-
perature.
•Lift the handle on the upper housing, and place the
food you want to cook on the bottom cooking plate.
•Lower the handle of the upper housing gently and
allow it to rest on the food.
•When the food is cooked to your liking, remove it
from the appliance with the help of a wooden spatu-
la or similar heat resistant implement.
Open grill function:
•Press the hinge release lever. (Fig 1)
•Lift the handel on the upper housing, bringing it to
180°so that the lid and handle lies on the table, and
the 2 grill plates are in line with each other.(Fig.2)
•Use the appliance as an open grill to cook your de-
sired food.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
•Select the minimum position “MIN” using the ther-
mostat control.
•Unplug the appliance from the wall socket.
•Clean the appliance.
Cleaning:
•Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
•Clean the appliance using a damp cloth with a few
drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
•Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive chemicals, to
clean this appliance.
•Never submerge the appliance in water or any other
liquid or place it under running water.
Anomalies and repair:
•Take the appliance to an authorised technical sup-
port service center if problems arise. Do not try to
dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may
be dangerous.
•If the connection to the wall socket has been dam-
aged, it must be replaced.
Ecology and recyclability of the product:
•The materials of which the packaging of this appli-
ance consists of are included in a collection, clas-
sification and recycling system. Should you wish to
dispose of them, use the appropriate public recy-
cling bins for each type of material.
•The product does not contain concentrations of
substances that could be considered harmful to the
environment.
