Daily Walk Around Inspection
For maximum service life, performance, and safety each machine
should be inspected daily before operation.
Perform a general walk around looking for missing or loose bolts,
hydraulic leaks, structural damage or cracks, and build up of trash or
material on the machine. Repairs should be made before continued
operation of the machine.
In addition these specific areas should checked:
1) Tires should be checked for damage and proper inflation.
The proper inflation is 60psi for bias tires.
2) Check all hitch, tongue, and floor bolts.
3) Check all tire nuts and studs.
4) Check tire oscillator bolts and bearings.
5) Check hydraulic lines and hoses for wear or damage.
Replace or repair as necessary.

wear. Repair as necessary.
7) Grease all swivel hitch points daily.
8) Check ejector wear blocks for excessive wear and loose
bolts.
9) Check all pins for loose or damaged retainers.
10) Check blades and router bits for excessive wear.
Operating Techniques

creating the desired blade angle.
2) When top loading the scraper bowl must be completely
lowered to the ground. Keep in mind that the weight of
excavator loaded material is heavier than that loaded by a
scraper. Weight capacity is scraper heaped rating x 2400.

purchaser to assure understanding of purchaser’s
responsibilities as related to warranty, service, and the proper
and safe operation of the product. Purchasers/Renters should
be advised to have failed parts repaired or replaced
immediately upon failure, as continued use will result in
additional damage, excessive wear, and may result in personal
injury.

- Contact Metalcraft of Georgia, Inc. prior to beginning repair or
replacement of failed parts to make certain that the cost of
repairs is consistent with the value of the product being sold.
Reimbursement for parts used in warranty repair will be
credited only when parts are purchased from Metalcraft of
Georgia, Inc. and will be credited at dealer’s net cost. No
warranty will be allowed on parts that are past due. The use of
parts from other sources will not be eligible for warranty
consideration.
- Dealer should use parts from their inventory first. If parts must
be shipped from Metalcraft of Georgia, Inc. freight will be paid
by Metalcraft and will be shipped by the most economical
means to arrive in the shortest possible time. Air, Next Day Air,

dealer or customer will be at customer’s expense.

invoices must have prior approval from Metalcraft of Georgia,

repair with individual parts. In some cases, the assembly price

- No warranty will be allowed on units delivered to the retail
customer prior to the full payment of that unit to the
