Important Safety Measures and Precautions

This appliance is designed to be used only with parts supplied
and/or accessories designed specifically for use with this appliance.
Using parts and/or accessories not designed for use with this
appliance could result in personal injury or property damage.
• Unplug the power cord during installation, cleaning or relocation of
appliance.
• Do not modify the length of the power cord.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if
the power socket is loose.
• Repairing/servicing of the appliance must be carried out by
authorised and qualified electricians only.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
a service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
• Do not touch the appliance and plug when your hands are wet.
• Do not expose the appliance to dripping or splashing water, or
objects filled with water, such as a vase.
• Do not use the appliance near a gas stove or any fire source; during
unusually humid or hot weather; near oil spills, soot buildup, metal
filings or objects that be drawn into the fan, such as drapes or
curtains; or in outdoor settings.
• Do not insert hands or fingers into the appliance or its movable parts.
• Place the appliance on a stable and level surface.
• Do not hang or mount appliance on walls or ceiling.
• Do not operate or use when appliance housing is damaged.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have
been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
• Ensure that the power supply is switched off at the wall before
removing the fan guard.
