Thank you for choosing the Micasa touch display swan fan. This fan
has multiple functions to provide you with a cool, healthy and luxurious
home experience. If operated and taken care of properly in accordance
with these instructions, this appliance will be useful for many years.

Before First Use
• Before first use, remove any stickers or similar from the appliance
except for the rating label.
• Dispose of any plastic bags as they pose a risk of suffocation to
young children.
Please read this manual before operating the appliance, and keep it in a
safe place for future reference. If this appliance is transferred to a new
owner, the manual should also be provided to the new owner.

Important Safety Measures and Precautions
WARNING!
This appliance is designed to be used only with parts supplied
and/or accessories designed specifically for use with this appliance.
Using parts and/or accessories not designed for use with this
appliance could result in personal injury or property damage.
• Unplug the power cord during installation, cleaning or relocation of
appliance.
• Do not modify the length of the power cord.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if
the power socket is loose.
• Repairing/servicing of the appliance must be carried out by
authorised and qualified electricians only.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
a service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
• Do not touch the appliance and plug when your hands are wet.
• Do not expose the appliance to dripping or splashing water, or
objects filled with water, such as a vase.
• Do not use the appliance near a gas stove or any fire source; during
unusually humid or hot weather; near oil spills, soot buildup, metal
filings or objects that be drawn into the fan, such as drapes or
curtains; or in outdoor settings.
• Do not insert hands or fingers into the appliance or its movable parts.
• Place the appliance on a stable and level surface.
• Do not hang or mount appliance on walls or ceiling.
• Do not operate or use when appliance housing is damaged.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have
been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
• Ensure that the power supply is switched off at the wall before
removing the fan guard.

Packaging
• After unpacking the appliance, check that all components are
included in the package and that the appliance has not been
damaged. If damage or incomplete delivery has occurred, contact
your authorised retailer.
• Do not throw away the original packaging. It can be re-used for
storage and transportation purposes.
• If disposal of packaging is necessary, please consider the environment,
and recycle where possible. Children should be prevented from
playing with polyethylene bags.

Remote Control
• 1 x CR2025 battery included - to replace,
insert new battery into the slot at the bottom
of the remote control.
• All the functions performed with the remote
control work identically to the manual
controls. In standby mode, you can use the
remote control TIMER button to set the
TIMER ON function.
Operation
POWER
To turn on, press once. To turn o, press and hold for 2 seconds.
SPEED
Press and then press . The room temperature display will be
changed to 1. Press again to set the fan speed from 1 – 12. Once
finished, the light will flash for 5 seconds and then remain on. The
room temperature will appear again, and then the fan speed is set.

MODE
Press the , and then press the . The temperature display will show
the modes of “NA” (natural wind mode) / “SL” (sleep wind mode) in
sequence. Once finished, the light will flash for 5 seconds and then
remain on. The room temperature will appear again, and then the
mode is set.
NORMAL: With 12-speed control.
NATURAL: Fan speed changes, creating a natural sea-breeze eect.
SLEEP: Gradually reduces the fan speed to an interval of 30 mins.
TIMER ON
In standby mode, press the TIMER (+) key. The room temperature
display will change to 1. Then, you can touch the key to set 1 - 24 hours.
Once finished, the TIMER (+) light will flash for 5 seconds and remain on.
The room temperature display appears again. Then, the TIMER ON is set.
NOTE: When the TIMER ON is set, the appliance will be switched on
automatically after the pre-set time, and will run continuously for 6
hours. After that, it will automatically shut down. The user can stop the
TIMER ON function anytime by changing the setting.
TIMER OFF
Press the , and then press the TIMER (-) key. The room temperature
display will be changed to 1. Press TIMER (-) and set the TIMER OFF
from 1 – 12 hours. Once finished, the TIMER (-) light will flash for 5
seconds and then remain on. The room temperature will appear again,
then the TIMER OFF is set.
OSCILLATION
Press the , and then press to start oscillation.
The light will flash for 5 seconds and remain on. The oscillation is
set. The user can press again to stop the oscillation while setting
the function.
IONISER
The Ioniser (or negative ion generator) is a device that uses high
voltage to ionise (electrically charge) air molecules to aid in air
purification.
Press the , and then press to start the ioniser.
The light will flash for 5 seconds and then remain on. The ioniser is

set. The user can press again to stop the ioniser while setting the
function.
To activate this function, the fan speed function must be on.
LED LIGHT
Press and hold to turn on the LED light. Press and hold again to
turn the LED light o.
The LED screen light will remain in the setting mode for 30 seconds
after all settings are done. It will then dim and change to standby
mode. If you need to change any settings while in standby mode, press
again.
CLOCK
In standby mode, long press the power button. The TIMER (+) and
TIMER (-) will start flashing on the display. Press TIMER (+) to adjust
the hours from 1 - 24, and press TIMER (-) to adjust the minutes from
00 – 59. Finish the setting, then wait for 5 seconds. Once the clock has
stopped flashing, the clock is set.
NOTE: The clock can only be set while the fan is in standby mode.
AROMA BOX
You may add a few drops of essential oil into the tray.
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Use only lukewarm water and mild detergent to clean the appliance.
Do not use corrosive or acidic solutions.
• Use a soft or lint-free cloth to clean the appliance. Rough fabric will
scratch the surface.
• To clean between the louvres, use a pipe cleaner, a flexible dust wand,
a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to gently remove dust.
• DO NOT wet or immerse the appliance, motor, switch, power cord or
plug in water.
NOTE: This electrical appliance is manufactured in accordance with
the relevant safety requirements. Repairs should only be carried out by
qualified persons using original spare parts, otherwise this may result in
considerable danger to the user. Please contact the Customer Service
Centre for after-sales service if required.
