After the Lock is installed, restore the factory settings and register
your administrator password and unlocking information to prevent
others from obtaining your password and increase the risk of
The installation of the digital door lock (refer to the "Lock") directly
impacts the functioning and lifespan of the Lock. Therefore, the
Lock should be installed, dismounted and debugged by experienced
professionals from Midea Customer Service Center.
Strictly follow the instruction diagram and the procedures in this manual
to install door holes and chisel the bearing pit. If there are any problems
with the Lock occur that are not described in this manual after installation
and commissioning, contact Midea Customer Service Center.
If your home undergoes renovations, ask a professional to dismantle
the Lock and reinstall after the renovations have completed. Corrosive
gases may erode the lock body, affect the appearance and reduce the
product lifespan;Wet paint may affect the flexible transmission of the
Lock.
After the Lock has been in use for some time, you will be notified if
the power is low each time you open the door. In this case, replace
all 2A batteries and place the positive and negative poles correctly.
The battery brand and quality may affect the duration the Lock can
be used for.
If the Lock will not be used for a long time, take the mechanical key
with you and take out all the batteries to avoid impacting the lifespan
the Lock.
For users whose fingerprints are unclear or whose fingers are small,
such as the elderly and children, register the prints of both thumbs
and register two or more other fingerprints of the same user.The lock can store up to 50 fingerprints, 25 groups of password,
and 50 RF cards.

• Insert and rotate the mechanical key to open the door.
Press and hold for 2 seconds to double-lock the door inside. The door can be
unlocked inside normally, only if unlocking outside by entering the administrator
password or using the mechanical key.
The double-lock mode can be cancelled by unlocking inside normally or unlocking
outside by entering the administrator password or using the mechanical key.
Mute the unlocking sound
Mute the unlocking sound once
Touch the mute key on the digital keypad to set mute door opening sound and touch
again to cancel the setting. The mute setting works only a single time.It restores to the
initial status after opening the door for once.
Mute the unlocking sound for a long term
For muting the unlocking sound for a long term, please refer to System settings > Menu
volume adjustment (P08).

In normal cases, please press the door opening
button at the back of the back handle, lift the handle
to unlock the door inside.
Emergency knob
For emergency, if the door opening button does not
work, please use the emergency knob to unlock the
door; when using the emergency knob, first turn the
knob to lock and then turn the knob to the opposite
direction to unlock.

• After locking, wake up the screen, and it prompts "keypad locked"; verify the fingerprint, and
it prompts "fingerprint locked"; and verify the card, it prompts "card locked".
Digital Keypad
Touch the low-battery alarm key on the digital keypad to check the real-time
electricity consumption.
Some users, such as the elderly and children, are prone to fingerprint recognition failure after entering their
fingerprints. The following methods can be used to improve the recognition rate (you may also unlock by
password or RF card):
• Make sure the fingers are clean before inputting the fingerprint.
• Input the fingerprint of the same finger successfully for several times
• Keep the fingers dry as wet fingers may affect the accuracy of recognition.
• To ensure effective unlocking, clean up the fingerprint input area when scanning a
fingerprint. If the fingerprint input area is damaged, stop using it and contact the customer service hotline
for repair.
• Only use 2A batteries that meet national safety standards. The positive and negative poles should be
installed correctly;
• If the Lock will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries;
• Old and new batteries must not be mixed using together.
• Comply with local environmental protection laws to dispose the used batteries;
• If your skin or clothes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse with water immediately. If the fluid gets in
your eyes, rinse your eyes with water immediately and seek for medical treatment afterwards.
When the battery is too low to open the Lock, use the emergency power interface
(micro USB, 5 V) to connect the mobile power to unlock the door. Replace all
batteries immediately after unlocking.
Remove the battery cover,insert eight 2A batteries into the battery compartment
and install the battery cover.
When the user unlocks the door inside with the door opening button, the digital key
lights up when the door is closed and locked again. At this time, touch the key to
enter the home leaving mode.
Please enter your fingerprints in a relax and comfortable handle
holding posture.
Place a finger steadily on the center of the fingerprint input area according
to the voice prompt.
Slightly move your finger up, down, left and right according to the figure
below. Before placing the finger each time, lift the finger first and then
put it down again until the voice prompts confirmed that the fingerprint is
registered successfully.
Press the doorbell button and the door lock will give a "ding-dong" sound.

When the lock is forcibly removed, the alarm sound of the lock will continue until the
batteries are removed or fully consumed.
2Keypad lock
• Accumulate the number of incorrect unlocking: for example, if the password is
entered incorrectly twice while the wrong fingerprint is input for 3 times, the cumulative
incorrect input is 5 times;
• When the cumulative number of wrong unlocking reaches 5 or above, all the
unlocking methods will suspended. At this time, only a mechanical key can be used
to unlock the door;
• After all unlocking methods are locked, wait for 90 seconds and the door can be
unlocked by using proper unlocking method.
3Low-battery alarm
When the power is low, the lock will send a voice prompt every time the door is
opened. In this case, replace the batteries.

Step 1 Restore factory setting, wake up the screen and enter the password of 6-12 digits
and press the key to confirm it based on the voice prompt.
Step 2 Enter the same password of 6-12 digits again and press key to confirm it. The
voice prompt will indicate the successful operation.
Step 1 Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds and release. Follow the voice
prompt;
Step 2 Press to confirm it. The voice prompt shows the factory setting has been
restored and then press key to return.

When adding a password, do not use a simple password (sequential digits or repeated digits),
such as "000000", "123456" and "121212".
• Start the card swiping function by adding the RF card permission when using the Lock for the
first time;
• Some users who have unclear fingerprints, such as the elderly and the children, may not be able
to use this function. They can use a password or RF card to unlock the lock;
• Take good care of your card and do not allow the RF card to be copied illegally;
• Delete the unlock permission of RF cards that are seldom used.

Unlocking method

• Draw a center line for holes to be drilled at both sides of the door
and leave 1.1 m distance above the ground;
• Fold the hole-drilling template, align the center line of the handle
of the template with the center line on the door, and draw the hole
opening line on the outside and inside of the door according to the
requirements of the hole-drilling template;
• Hole drilling: Drill the holes according to the requirements of the
hole drilling template;
• Engroove: Use a drilling or coping saw to build grooves that will
accommodate the mounting panel, door frame rod, and lock body;
• Clean up the sawdust and debris in the hole.
When installing the lock body, put the lock body cable in the inner
side of the door through the cable hole on the door, and fix the lock
body on the door with screws.
Install and tighten the four sleeves on the exterior unit.
When installing the exterior unit, let the exterior unit and interior unit
cables in the inner side of the door through the cable hole on the door,
let the sleeve through the positioning hole of the lock body and finally
attach the exterior unit to the outside door surface.
Insert the wiring terminals of the interior unit and exterior unit and
lock body cable terminal into the corresponding ports of the interior
unit and ensure they are installed in place.
As shown in the figure below, the excess part circled needs
to be cut off. It cannot be higher than the door plane.
Installation Precautions
Plug the excess connection cables into the cable holes on the door,
attach the interior unit close to the inner door surface. Put two split
screws into the screw holes of the interior unit and hit them into
sleeves on the exterior unit, adjust the position of the interior unit
and tighten the split screws to fix the interior unit.
Install the battery and confirm whether the Lock is powered on
normally. Install the battery cover and silicone stopper, then
the installation of the Lock is completed.
The required length of sleeves and screws shall be selected and
installed according to the door thickness.
Place the pre-fixing board at the inner side of the door. The three
bending angles of the pre-fixing board point to the inner side of the
door. Pass two split screws through the pre-fixing board and punch
the screw holes on the exterior unit sleeve. After adjusting the position
of the exterior unit, tighten the split screws to fix the exterior unit.
Insert the lock cylinder into the lock body and then tighten it with
screws.

of 40 to 90 mm. If not, contact the dealer.
• When fixing the exterior and interior units, do not press the internal connection
cables.
• When installing the exterior and interior units, handle them carefully to avoid
scratching the unit surface and affecting the appearance.
• Choose the correct accessories according to the door thickness. For details,
please refer to the accessories package.

• Keep the lock surface away from corrosive substances to prevent the damage of the
lock’s surface protection layer.
• The handle is a key part of the door lock. Do not hang objects on the handle.
• If the door is deformed, the latch bolt cannot be fully extended. In this case, the
position of the latch protector and the latch box should be adjusted by professional
technicians.
• If the fingerprint input area is dirty or wet, wipe it gently with a dry soft cloth.
• When the power is low, replace all batteries immediately to ensure the lock can work
properly.
• Take the mechanical key with you and do not put it in the house.
• Do not scratch the fingerprint input area or touch the keypad surface with a hard,
sharp object.
• The lock body should be maintained once every six months to ensure it is normally
operate.
• If the key cannot be inserted smoothly, fill the lock cylinder groove with graphite
powder, pencil powder or special-used lubricant. Do not add any oil for lubrication to
avoid the grease sticking to the spring as this may jam the cylinder.
