On Opening the box
Midea adopts a stringent policy to ensure safe delivery of all it's products. All product
shipments are thoroughly checked, packed and quality certified before leaving our
manufacturing. Please don't accept any product if there is any visible loss or damage of the
goods and ask the delivery person to make the note on the freight bill or receipt.
This manual is a guide to good usage and operating instructions for your new Midea
Washing Machine.
This manual does not contain all product service related procedures required for continued
successful operation of this product. The services of Midea Authorized Service Person must
be employed on periodical basis for the same.
Do not operate the product before reading the manual supplied with this product and
follow instructions to ensure personal safety and proper operation.
Carrier Midea India Limited assumes no liability for installation performed by any
unauthorized Person.
Always install, operate, inspect and maintain this product in accordance with all applicable
standards.
Please store this user manual carefully for any future reference.
When a shipment has been delivered to you in apparent good conditions, but upon opening
the box, if there is any loss or damage that has taken place due to transit, please inform the

Midea's Smart Touch allows to handle your
entire wash process with the touch of a button,
saving your precious time and energy to spend
doing the things you love. Using advanced
algorithms, it calculates and automatically
determines the water level, wash program,
number of rinses and spin duration. Thus
without Touch no washing machine is a
real fully automatic.

The power of six wave fronts in one rotation of
pulsator, Midea's unique Hexa Frill Wash helps
you to get the best wash results whatever the
dirt level is and that too at the minimum water
consumption.
HEXA FRILL WASH
Midea's top loads are equipped with Point
Zero Pressure which helps you to operate
the washing machine even at a very low
water pressure. Thus no need to wait for

User Interface Panel
Before starting, continuosly press this button for
switching over among (Standard), (Deep clean),
(Fast clean), (Delicate), (Heavyload), (Active), (Tub
clean), (Drum dry) & (Water Level) keys together.
Program Selection
Press (Program) and (Water Level) together to
activate the child lock. Now only the (on/off) key
is working. To disable the Child Lock, again press
(Program) and (Water Level) keys together.

Eight water levels are set for
this washing machine from 1
and 2 at the lowest level to 7

This key helps to select the
various wash process such as

Installation

1. Remove package
• Remove package and take out
the bottom board of the cabinet
on the foam cover.
• Open the lid of washer’s door
and take out the accessories.
• A trial operation or washing on the
foamed cushion is strictly forbidden.
• Completely sleeve the drain pipe over the outlet.
• Fix and tighten it with a spring clamper that comes
with the washing machine. (As shown in the figure)
If the water drain pipe needs to be extended,
its length shall not exceed 3 meters,
otherwise it will affect the water discharging time.
The placed height of water drain pipe
shall not exceed 15cm.
Do not bend the water drain pipe and
place it under the base of washing machine.

Installation Steps before Washing
Connection of inlet pipe, tap and washing machine Adjust the adjustable foot to make the washing
machine stable. Connect with power source.

Before washing, please do take out coins, keys and other pointed objects from the pockets and zip up
clothes tightly to prevent them and wash tub from damage.

Personalized Washing Program
User can select washing program and water level according to their own need.
Function key can be pressed several times depending on
the need of introducing wash, rinse, spin or soak process,
you wish to select.
Alternatively, user can use ‘Smart touch’ function which
simplifies the washing process.

Wash Programs & Special Features
Note: Close the lid of the door when machine is running,
otherwise it will automatically stop working during spin
process and sendout abnormal warnings.
The washing machine will not work till the time, filled water
does not reach the set water level.
The selection of rinse water level: the level is equal to wash
water level.
Press (Rinse Level) button, the indicator light which stands for
rinse level. User can select the rinse water level according to
needs. Rinse level exceeds that water level all the time. It shows
the wash level if not, press this button. Only show rinse level
when rinse.
After pressing (ON/OFF Switch ), if the (Start/ Pause ) button is not
pressed, the power will be automatically cut off after 10 minutes.
This wash program is suitable for almost
all types of clothes with appropriate
wash, rinse & spin time.
STANDARD
Suitable for heavier clothes with strong
washing ability.
HEAVY LOAD
Suitable for the heavily soiled clothes
with larger wash time.
DEEP CLEAN
Suitable for lesser clothes with less dirt degree.
ACTIVE
It’s used for washing the clothes which
are not so dirty and the whole washing
process uses shorter wash time.
FAST CLEAN
This program is useful to clean the wash tub
thoroughly with high RPM water sprayed for 1
min.
TUB CLEAN
Suitable for delicate clothes like wool, silk,
etc. It uses higher water levels and no spin
cycle to safeguard any damage on clothes
due to higher rotation of tub.
DELICATE
Drum Dry program is a special program of this
washing machine. The spin tub circulates in a
high speed to make the outside of the tub dry.
This helps in controlling the bacterial growth
making the washing healthier.

Wash Programs & Special Features

Cleaning and Maintenance Troubleshooting
The washing machine will send buzzer sound at the end
of every program operation to remind you to take out
the clothes or operate it again. After the sound, washing
machine returns to its power-off state with no display
and all lights off. Please turn off the tap, pull out the plug
when not in use to avoid water leakage or any accidents.
End of program
After long time usage, the water inlet mesh bag may
be blocked with mud or sand, and should be cleaned
according to the following steps:
1. Switch on the power, followed by turning off the
tap.
2. Let the washing machine work for 5 seconds so that
water flows into the tub through the water inlet
pipe, then turn off the power.
3. Unload the water inlet pipe and clean the mesh
bag.
Clean the water inlet
After using the washing machine for a period, please
clean it according to the following steps:
1. Take out the magic filter.
2. Open the filter and wash it with water
3. Restore and fix it.
Clean the magic filter
Use gentle clothing to wipe off the water and dirt from
the surface each time after using the washing machine.
Detergent, propellant and other chemicals are not
allowed to be used so as to avoid any damage to the
plastic parts.
Maintenance
When the washing machine is in trouble, please contact CMI service centre or call Midea toll free number.

Note : During the spin process, if washing is piled at one side of the spin tub, it will cause unbalance of spin tub resulting in striking. At this moment, the
computer inside the washing machine will feel this unbalance phenomenon and will automatically correct it ( fill in water Washing ). However, if unbalance
situation is not removed after continuous corrections, which means the computer auto- correction can not resolve the problem. Then the user has to
manually and evenly place the clothing inside the tub to solve the problem.

If the washing machine can not work normally, and the abnormal indication is shown in the user interface, please check and

E-waste Management Guidelines E-waste Management Guidelines
Under the E-Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011 (hereafter referred to as the "E-Waste Rules"), it is incumbent for all
consumers, including the purchaser of this washing machines, to properly recycle and dispose of all electrical and electronic
equipment through authorized recyclers.
E-Waste has been defined as "waste electrical and electronic equipment, whole or in part or rejects from their manufacturing
and repair process, which are intended to be discarded".
E-Waste contains various hazardous materials like lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls
and polybrominateddiphenyls ethers. Hence, improper handling and disposal of e-waste releases these hazardous materialin
the environment causing pollution, contamination of soil and water and various health hazards.
Through, the product purchased by you is ROHS compliant & does not contain any hazardous material above the prescribed
limit under the E-Waste Rules, it is imperative that the product should be handled with utmost caution and as per the
guidelines mentioned in this manual including the following Do'sand Don'ts : -
Proper Handling and / or Recycling of the Washing Machines
The following marking/symbol on the product or carton indicates that the product and its accessories/parts (e.g. remote
controller, batteries, spare parts etc.) should not be disposed off with other household waste at the end of their working life.
Please separate these items from other types of waste and recycle them responsibly for conservation of the environment and
collective well-being.
E-Waste Recycling Program
We have tied up with government approved e-waste recycles for facilitating the collection of e-waste from our channel
partners and customers for recycling. You are simply required to call our toll free number 1800 30 00 00 11 and register your
request for collection of e-waste. Once your request is received, the representatives of the authorized recycles would collect
the e-waste from your house/psemises after paying the value of the same to you. For more details and information on our E-
Waste Recycling Program kindly visit our website.
PERTAINING TO THE E-WASTE RULES
Hand over the E-Waste to the Company / Authorised
recycles. Never sell the e-waste to any unauthorized agencies,
scrap dealer/kabadiwalahs.
E-Waste should never be thrown in household bins. Never throw E-Waste in bins as part of household waste.
Keep the product in isolated area, after it becomes
non-functional/un-repairable so as to prevent its
accidental breakage.
