WARNING
The vibration and noise emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a
standardized test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare one product with another. It may be used for
a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration and noise emission level represents the main applications of the product. However, if the
product is used for different applications, with different accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration and noise
emission may differ. This may significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration and noise should also take into account the times when the
product is turned offor when the product is running but not actually doing the job. This may significantly reduce
the exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration and/or noise, such as
maintaining the product and the accessories, keeping the hands warm, and organising work patterns.
Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
WARNING Read all safety warnings,
instructions, illustrations and specifications
provided with this product. Failure to follow all
instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
GENERAL PRODUCT SAFETY WARNINGS
Keep all parts of the body away from the saw
chain when the product is operating. Before you
start the product, make sure that the product is not
contacting anything. A moment of inattention while
operating the product may cause entanglement of
your clothing or body with the saw chain.
Always hold the product with your right hand on
the rear handle and your left hand on the front
handle.
Holding the product with a reversed hand configuration
increases the risk of personal injury and should never
be done.
Hold the product by insulated gripping surfaces
only because the product may contact hidden
wiring. Saw chains contacting a “live” wire may make
exposed metal parts of the chain saw “live“ and could
give the operator an electric shock.
Wear eye protection. Further protective equipment
for hearing, head, hands, legs, and feet is
recommended. Adequate protective equipment will
reduce personal injury from flying debris or accidental
contact with the saw chain.
Do not use the product on a tree, on a ladder, from
