WELCOME
INITIAL TESTING AND SET UP
ThankyouforpurchasingtheMINERDUDE™X12XTREME™miningsystem.
Thisguidewillhelpyousetupthesystemandtroubleshootthemostcommon
issuesyoumightencounter.
Thesystemhasbeenpre-assembledandtestedtobeinworkingcondition.Thereareafew
simplestepstoinsertingyourgraphicscards,connectingIOandpower.
1.Openthelidbyunscrewing6screws.2ontheback,2onthefrontand2onthetopof
thelid.
2.Inspectvisuallythattherearenoobstructionsinthefrontpanelfans,e.g.cables.
3.ConnecttherearpanelVGAtoamonitor,aLANcabletotheethernetportand
optionallyausbdevicelikeakeyboardtotherearorfrontpanelUSBport.Lastly,connect
theprovidedpowercabletotheC14portofthepowersupplytobootthesystem.Turnon
thepowerfromthePDU(PowerDeliveryUnitinordertomakesurethatthepower
suppliespowerupatthesametime.
4.Waitforthesystemtoinitialize,untilyouseetheMINERDUDE™bootlogo.
MakesuretheOLEDdisplayworks,testtheusbportbytypingonthekeyboard
(forexamplehitDELkeytoenterthesystemBIOS),seethatthewiredethernetlightsturn
onandthereisvideooutonyourmonitor.Tryresettingthesystemfromthemiddle
button,thentryrebootingthesystemfromthetopbuttonandthebottombuttonto
CLEARCMOS.

5.MakesurethatthePCIEconnectorsarefirmlyconnectedtothemotherboard.
StartinsertingyourgraphicscardsandusingthesuppliedM3screwstofastenthe
graphicscardbrackettothechassis.
6.EverycablehasaDIFFERENTLENGTH.Afterthegraphicscardsarefirmlyconnected
andfastened,takethebundleoftheblacktipPCIEcablesandstretchthemout.Startfrom
thelongestcableandconnectittothebackplaneintheportlabeledas“1”.Continuewith
thenextlongestinorderfromrighttoleftandbottomtotop.Cablelabeledas“12isthe
shortest.

7.Managethecablesandmakesureoncemorethatthereisnothingobstructingthe
systemfansonthefront.Closethelidandconnectpower,VGA,LANandanypheripherals.
Bootthesystembypressingtheredpowerbutton.
