GONYTIA HEAT CUTTER
APPLICATION
Cut the rope and the webbing,
with fine cutting edge, no disperse. Attached with the
cutting foot, the hot knife cut the synthetic fiber cloth
without backup under the cloth, seal the cutting edge
as well; cut the seal line on the bag. Especially good
for cutting sail cloth, awnings and filter cloth.
PREPARATION
A. Select a hot knife blade corresponding to the cutting use.
B. Loosen the knurled nut when device is cold.
C. Insert each leg of the blade and tighten the knurled nuts. Make sure that the blade and
the cutting head have optimal contact. If both legs of the blade are not properly installed,
the unit will not heat up.
Always unplug the power cord of the GONYTIA Hot Knife before installing
or removing the blades. Allow sufficient cooling time for blades, blade holders
and mounting screws before handing.
The blade have a sharpened blade edge, for the cleanest cut always cut in the
direction on the sharpened edge.

CUTTING
A. Actuate switch, the indicator light and the blade will heat up.
B. Avoid direct short circuit between cutting heads.
C. Do not use metallic rulers for guiding the blade.
D. Clean cutting heads with enclosed wire brush.
E. Please make sure the blade is connected to the cutting material before blade heats up.
Excessive power output and heat generation may cause the blade holders to
overheat resulting in damage to the unit. Use only the required output power for
proper cutting. The blade does not need to be red hot to move through foamed plas-
tics.
CAUTION
A. Always operate the Hot Knife in well ventilated space.
B. Never burn off the excess residue on the Hot Knife blade. The blades will over heated
and be warped.
C. Only operate Hot Knife when it is in contact with the insulation board.
D. Keep hot blades away from skin, clothing and other flammable materials.
E. Allow blades to cool before handling. Hot Knife may cause injury or burns to exposed
surfaces.
F. If the temperature inside the tool is too high, the unit will get hot and the internal
thermal protectors will turn it off, after it cool, the Hot Knife will operate again.
Keep hot blades away from skin, clothing and other flammable materials.

GONYTIA HEIßSCHNEIDER
ANWENDUNG
GONYTIA Heißschneider ist ideal zum
Schneiden von synthetischen Seilen, Schnüren,
Gurtbändern und Geweben. Der GONYTIA
Heißschneider verschweißt das synthetische
Textilprodukt und verhindert ein Ausfasern
des Werkstückes.
INBETRIEBNAHME
A. Wählen Sie eine Heißschneide-Klinge für den jeweiligen Einsatzbereich.
B. Lösen Sie die Klemmschrauben zur Befestigung der Klinge in kaltem Zustand.
C. Stecken Sie die Klinge in die dafür vorgesehenen Öffnungen und fixieren Sie die
Schrauben. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Klinge richtig in den Kontakten des
Heißschneiders sitzt, um eine optimale Funktion zu gewährleisten.
Z
iehen Sie immer den Netzstecker des GONYTIA Heißmesser, bevor Sie die
Klingen ein- oder ausbauen. Lassen Sie Klingen, Klingenhalter und
Montageschrauben ausreichend Zeit zum Abkühlen, bevor Sie sie in die Hand
nehmen.
Die Klingen haben eine geschärfte Klingenkante, für den saubers-ten Schnitt
immer in Richtung der geschärften Kante schneiden.

SCHNEIDEN
A. Schalter drücken. Die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet und die Klinge heizt auf. Die maximale
Betriebstemperatur ist nach etwa 10 Sekunden erreicht.
B. Der GONYTIA Heißschneider ist für Aussetzbetrieb und nicht für den Dauerbetrieb
konzipiert. Die Angabe 15 sec. / 45 sec. auf dem Typenschild bedeutet, dass der
Heißschneider 15 Sekunden in Betrieb sein kann und dann für 45 Sekunden abgeschaltet
werden soll.
C. Verwenden Sie keine Metallteile zum Führen der Klinge.
D. Die Reinigung der Schneidespitze erfolgt im warmen Zustand mittels der im
Lieferumfang enthaltenen Messingbürste.
E. Nach der Beendigung des Schneidevorganges lassen Sie den Schalthebel los. Bei
längerem Nichtgebrauch des Gerätes den Stecker aus Sicherheitsgründen aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
Eine zu hohe Leistungsabgabe und Wärmeentwicklung kann zu einer Über-
hitzung der Messerhalter und damit zu Schäden am Gerät führen. Verwenden Sie
nur die benötigte Leistungsabgabe für einen ordnungsgemäßen Schnitt. Die Klinge
muss nicht glühend heiß sein, um sich durch geschäumte Kunststoffe zu bewegen.
