Intended Use
The MIR Smart One spirometer is intended to be used as an over-the-counter device by a
patient under the prescribed use of a physician. The equipment is intended to test lung
function and can perform tests in adult and pediatric patients greater than 5 years.
The Smart One spirometer has been designed for use directly by the patient to monitor her/
his physical conditions at home.

The disposable turbine is made of plastic with paper mouthpiece and its disposal after use
should adhere to the local regulations and norms in force.
The accuracy of the reusable turbine can only be guaranteed if it has been cleaned in the
correct manner and is free from foreign bodies. Weekly cleaning should only be
done when the equipment is for personal use and will only be used by one patient. The
cleaning of the turbine should be performed according to the instructions contained in
this User’s Manual.

your home use. The tests you complete will help you and your physician see how well
your lungs function.
